There are definite similarities between this scene and the scene from devil wears Prada in relation to the elevators, but the main difference is the devil wears Prada was a fashion magazine empire while Moramax was a completely different business altogether.

Throughout this show Ellen is one character I cannot comprehend. In the beginning I loved her but after Patty admitted to trying to have her killed & she still comes back for more I seriously think Ellen has a screw loose. Patty tried to kill her and then ever while admitting it she tried to have her sent to prison and still yet Ellen continues hanging around and even in this scene comments that she may come back to work for Patty. She absolutely makes no sense.
