Thanks, Rosie. This one was particularly useful to me because for the first time in my life I am gardening on sandy soil. It's so helpful to see the plants being recommended rather than just seeing a list with still pictures.
This is just the video I needed to find! I garden in fhe beautiful Dungeness . My garden is mainly shingle with very little soil. So these plants are a great option for me. It’s such a tough place for plants to cope with. But like I’ve always been taught you have to find the, right plant for the right place. So your suggestions are just what I need.
I have a front yard that seems like pure dense sand. Should I mix the sand with a topsoil so it 50/50. Or just plant my “poor soil” loving plants without any amendments?
Hi Rosie, I was wondering if you could do a video of what to plant under pine trees where the soil is dry. I am in the midlands in the uk. Would value your help. Flowering shrubs? For perennial flowers?
Thanks for the tips! I've got sandy soil in my yard, so this is helpful!

Dry sandy soil is exactly what I struggle to grow on. Thanks for this particular focus!

Thank you very much for the video. Summers are getting drier and my soil doesn't retain moisture well. Please more videos for sandy soils

Are those plants in cold tolerance to zone 5, suitable for zone 5 in the USA? Also, does the Aster truly take shade?
