They built something almost close with a very less budget. JF-17 Thunder. This is being bought by countries and turns to be very good for the price its being offered. Pakistani are darn tough nation.

Не на глаз. Они эти автобусы и строят. Это не штучно, это мелко серийно. Вы просто не заметили из-за отсутствия стен, что это автобусный завод!;-)
чертежь есть они купили примитивный автобус 80 ых разобрали упростили конструкцию под дешевые детали сняли размеры и пошло поехало кустарное производство

они даже ржавчину как следует не снимают шпаклюют по ржавчине и красят сверху
все сварные соединения варятся как попало с нолевым качеством

As an American, I will say this is the problem with the West; a diminishing labor pool in the industrial and engineering trades. When I was in HVAC school my teacher said that in addition to lack of skilled labor, the teachers needed to teach those skills was even more dire. This is the problem with outsourcing your workforce. That being said these mens' skill in puting together these buses is awesome and will probably pass the skills to others.

@@Kaijuus even manufacturing pre-modernisation required a lot of skill. Assembly lines today are very specialised and these guys have mastered loads of skills to make components from scratch. I'm also considering that they have basic tools.
However, as my comment implies still think the overall process is backward and doesn't produce products that are to modern quality and safety standards. There is a reason why we have moved away fabricating components from scratch as the outputs are variable.

I'm more concerned about the quality of the welds. This is not a real Hino vehicle obviously.

Нет понимания о ребрах жесткости и создания каркаса. Нет понимания усиления мест крепления соединений.
Мер предосторожности нет и в помине.
Нет одежды и перчаток. Нет обуви. Нет защиты от лучей сварки.
Работал на производстве , в СССР, на заводах страны.
Город Керчь и Севастополь в основном.
Чтобы получить профессию надо было пройти обучение - сдать экзамены. На производстве закреплен был, как и все молодые специалисты, за произаодственниками - имеющих разряды.

No, it's not up to "western standards", but it's still an incredible show of ingenuity and craftsmanship, and I am humbled by their dedication and ethics. I doubt any "western" mechanics, machinists, welders (including me) could do as good with the same equipment under the same conditions.

Это в "Сияющих Градах на Холме" что бы потом компанию производящую ТС по судам не тягали? Все ТС потенциально опасны, минимизируют конструктивно при ДТП это верно. СОПРОМАТ эффективен при возведении мостов,металлоконструкций для производства итд. Но мало эффективен для наземного ТС, они же не самолёты строят. Очень всё и везде относительно.
Самый захватывающий момент 20:40 - видно как несущая арматура салона прихвачена сваркой к раме. Можно вообразить, как вся эта коробка отрывается на горном серпантине и летит на дно ущелья со всем содержимым.
Завод УАЗ просто отдыхает со своими буханками!!! Реально золотые руки у мужиков!!!!
И сварен весь автобус просто электродами и даже ток не выставляют под разные металлы. Вот бы им полуавтомат.

Ни чего особенного в современных автобусах нет . Что вы попадёте в аварию на современном на скорости 180 - 190 километров в час , что на этом на скорости 70 - 80 километров в час просто на большую скорость пакистанский не способен . Пакистанский ещё и покрепче будет .

Their nuclear technology was based on work stolen from the Netherlands by one guy and financed by the Saudi's. The Pakistani nuclear weapons project was bankrolled by them so they have an option if Iran finally decides to sort them out.

А я всё думал - как Ульяновским мастерам удаётся с таким поразительным постоянным качеством собирать УАЗ?!? Теперь мне стало очевидно, что дело в постоянных стажировках и тренировках! Теперь ещё бы разобраться кто у кого учился, но судя по результату это одна и та же школа!
не поверишь, ты угадал. Полгода проработал на УАЗ и прошел эту "школу", примерно так все и выглядит. У нас даже уборщица принимала участие в сборке авто. Да, для начальства авто собирают в ручную.

Truly handmade. Every bus unique. Ford had invented the assembly line 100 years ago. I always put the bolts facing downwards so if a nut loosens and falls off the bolt will still be in the hole. First time I've ever seen someone nailing a wood floor into the frame.
i guess anything can be wood if you hammer it hard enough
Nuts on a downward facing bolts have higher chance becoming loose it is opposite on up facing bolts the will never become loose.

@@vitalegvitalegov если так, то это очень плохо, ведь ЗиУ и ЛАЗ - это заводы, хорошо механизированные, автоматизированные, с техникой безопасности, с полноценными КБ и всесоюзными НИИ. А это мануфактура.
Я просто в шоке и в восторге от них, никаких высокотехнологичных станков, ни готовых под производство конвееров просто несколько парней берут и делают целый Автобус😱😲

Its not OFFICIAL HINO at all, its made in local factory and are way cheaper than Hino Pakistan buses. I wonder why westerners always complaint about SAFETY, Approvals etc 🤣🤣🤣 its a third world country MATE, people work here to STAY ALIVE, enough to be ALIVE, these are cheaper vehicles. Go watch Honda Pakistan, Toyota Pakistan, Suzuki Pakistan videos, they are up to international standards and are expensive.

I like the OD paint. (Over Dirt). They will keep themselves in business. The busses come pre-rusted with worn out drive trains. Grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain't. Not a torque wrench in sight. And wooden floors and seats with foam and plastic. Safety is no object.
But it looks good.
Yeah some of these welds man... I dunno... feels like everything may just come apart at any moment.

As someone who has travelled on these exact same buses i can tell you they work for pretty good time period but i was always surprised how i was able to travel safe and sound on these things

As a Pakistani, I admire and respect the level of skill that goes into making these local ('desi') vehicles and there is no denying the fact that in most of semi-urban Pakistan, this type of industry provides the livelihood of hundreds of thousands of people. However, this industry follows zero safety standards and is very poorly regulated. It is a surprise as to how these passenger-carrying vehicles are even allowed on the roads (this might explain why these vehicles are not found on Pakistan's access controlled, toll-charging motorway network). These vehicles are often involved in horrific accidents on sub-urban and rural highways and unfortunately, always results in extremely high casualties due to non-existent safety features and very poor quality of workmanship and design.

The majority of romanians have become stinky and indolent. Most of them, they don't like to work anymore as their grandparents and parents did. We needed democracy and freedom. The majority understood this democracy in a totally wrong way. Now we are free to be a lot of lazy people. We don't want to know each other and follow our rights. We accept to be subject to others. Most romanians no longer respect each other. They forgot about God and they forgot the education from home. For those like them, we who we are with common sense and a glimmer of hope, we must to suffer. It's sad but true.
They work as europeans worked 100 years ago and these guys are doing the right thing, not investing in robots that destroy the country leaving the people without future. Of course, I'm aware of other issues like corruption or labour conditions but these men are ready to build up a country. From Barcelone, I show my RESPECT to you, pakistan men !

Safety not required. Life is cheaper than dirt here. 40-80~ people die on this bus due to poor safety? Non-issue. 16000~ kids are being born every day. As I said. Life is cheap due to high quantity and no use of quality required whatsoever.
They just..... tack weld everything together.... They just Tacked the engine mounts, I kept waiting for them to remove the motor to be able to run a full bead on the engine mount plate to the frame rail or the transmission crossmember to the framerail.... but.... they just kept chugging along... I understand having lack of equipment, but they had the equipment, they just didn't do the work, time is money i guess.....
All of these style of videos in 3rd-World nations just display how far behind these nations are, how uneducated the people are, and how much time it's going to take before they get in line with the rest of the developed works.
@@longnamedude3947 There are many factors and I really mean countless factors resulting in this issue. To name a few:
The elite in the society want to keep the majority uneducated so they can be exploited for their time and labor. To keep accumulating wealth and resources themselves they are willing and able to do whatever it takes to keep the status quo.
Lack of government laws implementation and corruption is another example they control the masses. Lack of health care, housing, sanitation and other facilities are bogged down for the masses while elite can throw cash and get anything served on a silver spoon. Lists just goes on and on. And all of that was because the countries were robbed of their wealth and resources to begin with by the colonizers to begin with so it's a $*** situation all around to begin with.

Grand bravo à vous pour votre ingéniosité et votre savoir faire beaucoup avec peu de matériel. Je suis en France et ici nous avons perdu ce savoir faire, il nous est plus possible de fabriquer quoi que ce soit sans machine numérique infernale. Nous sommes également dans une Europe qui nous impose des tas de normes complètement débiles à tout les niveaux et que nous courons à notre perte. Des normes il en faut mais raisonnablement en France et Europe sa dérive complètement et nos dirigeants ne font rien pour améliorer. J'ai 66ans et dans ma jeunesse tout était plus simple avec beaucoup moins de contraintes et nous avions tous du boulot. Malheureusement pour nous maintenant tout nous est devenu très compliqué, très cher et avec un taux d'imposition record de la planète. Pauvre France où il faisait bon vivre qu'est tu devenue... Encore bravo à vous de la part d'un petit Français.
un grand bravo pour les soudures, tout juste pointée, j'imagine le chassis et la caisse qui se desintègrent dans un choc frontal à 80km/h. L'inspecteur du travail a fait un infarctus avant la fin de la 1ere minute de vidéo... gants, casque oreille, visiere de soudure, masque, tablier de protection à la meuleuse, heureusement ils ont leur tong de sécu et les lunettes de soleil de soudure à l'arc.
Mais je ne vais pas etre de mauvaise foi, c'était pareil en france avant la desindustrialisation il y a pas 50 ans.
Petit bémol, les machines numériques font un super travail, rapide, precis, systematique
Heureusement qu’on a des normes, dans leurs conditions de travail, aucune chance que le gouvernement essaye de faire passer la retraite à 64 ans. Entre ceux qui soudent sans masque, avec des lunettes de soleil ou sans, ceux qui peignent sans masque, la scie circulaire sans carter de protection, et je ne parle même pas des passagers qui sont tous morts en cas de collision, oui vraiment c’est du bon boulot mais je n’aimerais pas le faire ou être passager d’un de ces bus (je l’ai déjà fait en Inde, je ne m’étais pas rendu compte), peut de chance d’attendre les 60 ans…
Tout n'est pas faux, mais n'oubliez pas que ces normes nous protègent contre l'importation de ces cercueils roulants made in Pakistan
oui ils font du bon boulot il travaille très dur. il faut pas être trop nostalgique de la France d'hier parce que c'était hier . aujourd'hui on travaille plus avec les mains on essaie de travailler avec le cerveau , on a plus besoin de manuel , c'est vrai que nous ? quand on est né en 1958 c'est très dur d'accepter, mais bon , les jeunes d'aujourd'hui sont très bien aussi avec moins d'efforts !!!! allez va 😉on a une bonne vie et c'était le bon temps 😛

Using body filler to fix a frame I've just discovered a new skill set
They use sheet steel salvaged from breaking up old cargo ships, so the steel has scars and rust pits and weld marks. It's all about appearances, so they bondo the frame to make it look like they're using new material. About the only new steel I saw them using was the 4" C-channel for the floor. The rest was whatever came off the last 25 year old oil tanker or cargo ship they dismantled at the ship breaking yards. Masters of recycling, I'll give them that.

@@kimkimpa5150 Very few of those welds will hold up over the long term. They were just basically "pecking" the welding rod to the metal, doing a series of small tack welds.
Tack welding is great for temporarily holding something in position while aligning your work, but they should have done full continuous weld beads for the entire length of the weld joint in order to get full penetration into the parent metal, and therefore, strength.

maybe not the most detailed work but wow, built with speed and basic primitive tools on a crowded dirt lot. start to finish, this is impressive on any level. and a pretty nice finished product to transport people in.
Amazing that they end up with a working bus! Not sure about getting the engine out, its welded in !

It might be built with part rusty panels and held together with tac welds, a second hand engine, bent right hand rear wheel, but all things considered and with basic tools, it’s an excellent finished product which fits perfectly for the job needed, To get from A to B. We’ll do guys.

@@mail2robm yeh they did suddenly appear to time jump from painting to a ready made bus with laquered paint and window glass fitted. Good spot there. Nevertheless, impressive craftsmanship.
Hats off to them. It's only a matter of time before better quality tools and machines come along.
