Storm Equinox looks like it compares to 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl and Roto Grip Attention Star ... It looks like a good Asymm Pearl... i may get it just for the Blueberry Crumble fragrance.
A skip from me. Way too strong and way too expensive for league. They must use way more oil up in Utah than we get down south, because I'm not using anything from Storm stronger than an IQ or Hy Road in my house. I'm waiting for the replacements for the Electrify, Hyped, level balls.
The ball looks good but not good enough to be worth buying it. Storm trying to make an effect like bowling ball but it’s 1 year too late. Anyone who has like an attention star or harsh reality pearl, there’s no need for this ball. Storm needs to up their game.
Kinda true actually, same thing with the Widow Mania too. OG Effect kinda makes it a no point pick up. If you have an OG Star, or Harsh pearl it makes this a no pick, too similar tbh.
Storm does not want to make skid flip balls anymore because most people who bowl now bowl for fun!! Not tourneys and leagues!! Fun bowlers cant do skid flip....Storm needs money since they dont own the sport like Brunswick.....no more skid flip.
I feel this core was made by a guy in 15 minutes as he had 3 months to do it. But, he was too busy watching ZVL on Tiktok and RUclips. So he slapped it together in no time... I rly don't feel this core was high tech... rly... 3 cylinders and a weight block... so high tech... Then the coverstock sounds like a hk22 cohesion knock off. Idk seems like they're saying catch up to B7.
Everyone I’ve seen throw it the ball drives so hard it almost takes out the 7 pin. Don’t see many b7 balls going down the lane anyway in my state it’s either storm or motiv for the most part, but the ones I do see going down the lane make nothing close to as sharp and strong backend that this one seems to have
@@meanboy2000 the reviews I’ve seen of the envy tour pearl the ball looked like it was rolling out so idk if it was just to dry or not the right shot for it but it was definetly not super continuous. You can argue the point all you want but it’s a fact that storm balls are the most continuous. Every brand has their specialty, storms has been getting balls to continue and have longer hook windows than everyone else. Motiv for example is good at making very strong balls most of their stuff rolls insanely early or the ones I’ve thrown anyway do
Are they calling this a ‘first’ league bowling ball they’ve created or a league ball unlike any other they have made. Sales and promotions are getting into circus realm.
Storm's ball to compete with the Effect one year later.. cohesion.. adhesion .. I'm starting to believe that Storm is becoming a meme for B7. The last two releases were aimed to beat B7 balls that are already a year old. Now that SWAG balls are cheaper Storm has jumped at the chance to be the new overpriced and underperforming brand. At least they are letting Roto Grip and 900 Global keep their integrity.

I see a closer comparison to the Origin than any of the other balls. Seems very skid snappy with a very clean and aggressive cover
It looks interesting. In my opinion I think it’s taking the place of the ball. I just got the virtual energy blackout.
This looks cool watching the videos that are out now
How would this compare to a dna coil?
Great question, I’m assuming it’ll be a little weaker and sharper but I’m not sure yet. We’ll have to see in the coming weeks!

Sounds like your house uses superglue for oil or something....
A $200 league ball? I love Storm but come on not everything needs to be this pricey especially for a House shot ball.
Whats so weird about it??? Its HK22!!!!! How am I....yet AGAIN.....the only person who notices these things??!!!????

The Hammer Effect is symmetrical.... This isn't an Effect wannnabe.
I just bought an attention star for 40 bucks less than this thing. I’ll pass on this.

It does not look angular. Watch the ball videos first me son!!!! Its very C shapped. Very Sym like. Not skid flip at ALL!!!

you must not have seen the envy tour Pearl go down lane.
@ only seen one in a tournament not a single one in my league yet and it does not run over the 7 pin

I have never seen any ball run over the 7 pin on the deck. Post a link to a video.

Not a first league ball - your right that the marketing is a bit odd

all the companies copy each other lol there only so much you can do with a bowling ball that hasn't been done already
@@KYLEQBALL Exactly so >>>>> spot on my PSO says this ALL the time !!!!
Out of 24 balls, the only Storm I own are Ion Max and Phaze 2. The Phaze 2 is great for me, but its hard to compete with B7's latest releases.
Terrible name for an asymmetrical ball. Sounds like it should be a sym ?
