Ive wanted a Blackstone griddle for some time now and after seeing first hand my son-in-laws 36" in action, I started looking into the 28". I am so excited to see this 17" with air fryer...absolutely what i am looking for... can't wait to get one... Ty
Hi Stephen. This is the 3rd model with an air fryer. Blackstone's first release was the grand daddy of them all, the 36" Air Fryer Combo sold at Walmart, then they released the 28" Air Fryer Combo sold at Walmart, then this 27" model. Next you'll see a very special Air Fryer Combo offering sold at Lowe's and I'm told you might even see a FIFTH Blackstone air fryer model before it's all said and done. Thanks for watching!!
I love this!!! I have the 17" combo with oil fryer, i use it so much i put it inside on my stovetop!! But the oil makes a huge mess and tough to regulate the temp consistancy. So this looks amazing!!! God Bless You Todd and Family!!🙌💯❤😃
This is very cool. I'd love to have a Blackstone but I'm not sure I have space for one. Thanks for the videos. I still need to check out your other site. God bless all here.
Is that grease cup the same size as the one on the larger grills. That's one of my biggest gripes on my 22' Adventure Ready. I can't use the foil grease cups from my other Blackstone. Also,, and I know this isn't your department, the clean out hole at the back of the griddle should be big enough to get the spatula through on all models. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your content.
That thing is sweet!!! I am like you and loving those handles and I just can't get over the size of that air fryer drawer. Kinda reminded me of one of those clown tricks where they just keep pulling it out and there is no way that drawer could fit....lol can't wait to see you use it!!
Hey Todd, I was just looking over the Flat top that Bryce received. Is this the new model for 2021? looks more portable than earlier models. I have been back and forth on a couple of brands. I have used Chilly's and like them. Just wanted something a little easier to pack up and take with me. Your thoughts. Thanks.
Hi Jeffrey - Blackstone has over 20 models on the market so there are MANY options. This particular model is one of the new 2021 models. It's significantly smaller than Bryce's griddle and would be ideal for a single person, a couple, or for just a few people. You can look through my videos as I've cooked on many of the models here. You might consider a 22" or a 28" model! Have a great week. Let me know if you get any more questions.
@@praisehisawesomename Sorry, I was referring to the Model Bryce received. The one he has seems way more portable than the ones I've seen at Walmart and the other chain stores. Definitely going to get a 36". Thanks.
Your videos are by far the best that Blackstone has ever offered. You are the reason I bought my 22" Your hunting videos are awesome!! Keep doing them as often as possible. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family !!!!
Give me a 22 inch dual burner griddle so you can cook two zone and an air fryer just like this one, semi-portable with great handles and it would be perfect for the camp ground or on a truck tailgate at a game. The wife and I love to griddle and the kiddos like the air fryer. MAKE AMERICA GRDDLE AGAIN
Just wondering how hot does it get under the griddle while in use? We will use it while RV camping and I'm wondering could you place it on a wooden table or a plastic folding table? Or are they coming up with a system with legs like the older grill griddle combo. I aslo wonder how it works in the wind. I have issue when it's windy with the older model the wind kills the heat.
Do you know what they are going to be selling this for the price please comment back and is Walmart going to be selling these thank you very much this will be good for my RV
Todd - I love my 36" air fryer combo and like the fact that the air fryer is heated by gas. Why did Blackstone opt to heat the newer air fryers with electric heaters? Just curious.
Hi Miles. I appreciate you watching! Yes, your griddle is a BEAST! I don't know. That is all engineering and production there. I know you aren't sacrificing anything with the new units. The electric heating elements are POWERFUL. Thanks again for watching. God bless!!
@@praisehisawesomename So since the new unit is powered by electricity for the fryer, is the new 36 inch griddle with the air fryer now natural gas compatible?
Hi Brian - Good thoughts. A few things to consider. With this unit, you are going to need electricity. I actually kept tripping my generator when I took it camping. My generator has peak output of 2500 watts and this requires way less than that, but my generator kept tripping. Having said that, this would be a great back porch unit or great to use at an RV campground with electric hookups. The other unit's gas side burner doesn't have a ton of BTUs either so, unless you are in a well-protected area with very little wind, the side burner wouldn't be my favorite. As far the fryer attachments that come with the range top combos, don't let that be part of your decision-making process. Most people who have them, me included, choose they do not like that fryer attachment. I merely use a cast iron skillet to fry things with that unit. This unit here though is built like a Mack truck. It is solid as a rock. It will blow your mind. It's probably twice the weight and strength of the unit with the side burner. I hope that gives you a few things to think on. Let me know if you have any questions. God bless!
Hi Todd...... awesome video. I have a question about this 17” fryer combo. I have the side burner combo and the griddle portion only has 1 burner. Does this model have two burners on the griddle portion? Hence the 2 knobs and the air fryer button. Thank you. Happy Griddlin
Hi Luis - Theis model has the same 17" one burner griddle that you have on your unit. The second (right) knob is for the air fryer temperature control. The black switch is to turn the air fryer off and on. Let me know if you have any more questions. I appreciate you watching. God bless
i notice on the website they have not updated the combo with the new handles...is it not out yet? Also the Adventure ready 17" griddle by itself also does not have the cover or new handles, is it coming out soon or do you have the first one?
Hi Paul - The NEW Adventure Ready griddles with orange handles will pretty much be Walmart exclusives. When you see me using them, then you'll know they are in stores. Stay tuned!
Will you be reviewing the new Blackstone Culinary Pro with air fryer at Lowe’s? I can’t find anything about it but think it looks nice. Wondering what makes it different than the Walmart version other than the cabinet
Hi Tony - I have all the new Lowe's griddles but I will not be reviewing them any time soon. Since there are so many models available, they have decided we better spread things out. Nate will be showcasing the Lowe's units and I'll be focusing on all the Walmart specific (Adventure Ready, etc.) and a few of the hardware chain models. If you look at the photos you can tell the differences. It has a cabinet so it's like a Pro Series in that regard. Obviously, the Culinary Collection has the industry-first Rotate & Remove Hood. Also, it's one gigantic fryer basket instead of two. Then the big difference will be with the styling. I hope that helps. God bless!
Hi Anthony - Great question. I recently tried mine on my generator and it kept tripping the generator. I think the fryer is rated at about 1,800 watts. My generator is a small WEN brand and is rated at about 2,500 watts. Apparently this peaks near or beyond that so it won't work on mine.
Nothing planned, as far as I know. If you want to vote for a new product though, I highly suggest calling customer service and telling them. Seriously, they will make a note of how many people are requesting products for the future. God bless.
I am looking at getting the 22" and a separate air fryer they have to be plugged in anyway and it will leave the griddle more mobile and not tied to an outlet.
Adding the air fryer to a 36" stationary unit makes sense, but as a camping unit it is hardly portable. Honestly I think it would make more sense to just make a separate air fryer unit that could easily set into a a portable table that works for the 22" or 17" tabletop griddles. This way it could be moved in separate pieces easily and you could keep the griddle, table, or fryer in storage when not needed. Going off grid then you can leave the fryer at home, going camping at the state park pull out either griddle or fryer as needed. Don't get me wrong the air fryer is cool, but give people more flexibility.
I don't have one yet!!! I have two of the new Lowe's Culinary Collection griddles here at the house (there will be 4 in total). I'm just waiting for the green light to be allowed to show them. They are just starting to hit stores in the southern US right now, I'm told. Stay tuned. God bless!
