    Hey, Babes! I'm BACK with another one of your requests for affordable & realistic kinky straight hair. I have a tutorial included for you on how to make a hot glue gun wig, plus a mini review/initial thoughts.
    THUMBS UP for more affordable hair looks!

    Welcome to my channel! I'm Jodian, and I share my creative ideas through TheBrilliantBeauty by uploading hair tutorials, makeup looks, and fashion videos. My hope is to inspire you to try something new and be confident in the process.
    -WHAT YOU NEED-
    Styrofoam wig head
    Stocking cap
    Dome cap
    Scissors
    Hot glue gun w/ sticks
    Needle & thread
    -HAIR INFO-
    14" 16" 18" (recommended): bit.ly/2h4eeRD ~ $23
    22" 24" 26" (what I used) bit.ly/2iiYlqh ~ $29
    I sometimes ask you all what you want to see on my channel, and a lot of you wanted me to try this kinky straight hair! I picked it up during one of my beauty supply shopping sprees b/c it looked really long and true to texture. It was $24.99 for the pack up to 26". But the gag is: one pack does the WHOLE HEAD! It has 3 lengths (technically 6 bundles) & a "closure piece" that is useless to me. I was on my way to LA so I made a quick u-part hot glue gun wig and headed out the door. So EASY!
    I realized afterward that the Ironed Texture Straight comes in different lengths. Next time, I would opt for an 18" or 22", but I like it so far! Quick tip: carry a brush everywhere 🔑

    I bought this hair after watching this video, and it's beeeaautiful. Absolutely gorgeous, I've worn it for 3 weeks straight now and it still looks brand new. For those saying they don't want leave out, I made the wig using Ivy's flip over method so all I need out are my edges and I'm good to go

    I actually bought this brand of hair two weeks ago at my local bss in the 16",14, 13" I never seen a 13" lol but I am in love with the hair and I did the hot glue gun method with this also. The cap was kind of big so I had to do some altering to it. I use the gorilla glue sticks for the hot glue gun. Love those tfs. I didn't know it came this long. Looks gorgeous!

      Rareexoticbeauty how did the hair hold up ?

    • @rareexoticbeauty
      @rareexoticbeauty 7 лет назад +6

      Sydney Crisp its holding up very well actually. I've worn her three times already and before I clip her on I tug at the hair just to make sure I don't need to touch any of the tracks up. And the hair itself is absolutely gorgeous. I barely get any tangles. I paddle brush but not much. All u really need is your fingers after you blend your hair with a comb.

      Tasmine W did you make a wig or do a quick weave with this hair? And did you have any issues with the shedding and tangling? asking because I've used this hair before and it would tangled so bad, so I was wondering if it was because I did a quick weave instead of a wig. over all I did love the hair when I first started wearing it

    • @SheFinessin_xo
      @SheFinessin_xo 7 лет назад +1

      Tora G I did a quick weave & didn't have that problem . I made sure to put a bonnet on my hair EVERY NIGHT . I never put any product in it, Lasted a good 2 months . All I had to do was touch up my leave out every now-n-then.

    How long does this last as a wig, (if you take care of it) and what is the recommended temperature for straightening it?

    i just did this hairstyle exactly. i love the look. I ran into a problem or 2. the mannequin head I bought is too big bc my cap is not fitting snug. Also, this is my first time trying the hot glue gun method and day 2 a couple tracks were very loose. I feel like the whole wig is falling apart. In making wigs, I see no one use reg salon pro hair glue... why the hot glue gun over bonding glue?

    What texture closure would you recommend for this particular hair? I don't want to leave any of my hair out.
