Another thing you can do when you glue hair in, is later when you have time, sew it down. That's what I do. Sometimes I'll do a few wefts a day when I take it off and not doing anything. And eventually you'll have a full sewn wig that's durable. :)
+chelsey allen yes it did last longer. When I don't have time or patience to sew in the hair, I always just glue because it's quicker. Then I'll go back over with sewing in between time when I get a chance. The only thing is if you use the hair glue, it'll have a slight smell to it as it gets older. So it's better to use hot glue.

it's all about personal preference, if you have a closure that you don't want to mess up with the glue it's probably best that you sew it down. It's completely up to you though.
Do you just shift the wig to make it a side part? And when you cut around the closure will the elastic band still be stretchy? I'm scared it won't go on my heat if I cut it. Can that part be skipped?

Comb from.the bottom to the top and hold my hair to untangle first before.combing all the hair and the track keep moving. Is it cause I fold my track instead of cutting? Too much glue ? Not enough? I always have to glue again like once a week. Help cause I really love my wig.
For my average size head, it fit better when it loosened up. The elastic band was still on the cap so it fit perfectly. For precision, you can measure your had and make the wig accordingly (you can search for tutorials).

It is most likely because you sewed on the elastic band by accident and it doesn't stretch anymore, or you grab too much of the cap when sewing and the fabric actually sews together and becomes smaller. Thank you hun!
what do i do if the dome cap is to big for my head , all dome caps seem to be one size fit all , my biggest fear with making a wig is it coming all the way down to my nose when i put it on
savedbythamost HighGod I did not include clips, it just fit my head. However, for other wigs that don't fit I buy an elastic band from Walmart's sewing section and sew it on the wig cap
