I've really fallen in love with Auxbeam. I have ditch lights from them as well as LED bulbs for the headlights and have had no issues. The quality is great for the price. No way I'm paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for exterior lighting on my Jeep. Next up will be a 42" light bar, and maybe one of these switch panels!
Nice install! I just installed the single colored version last week. Very simple and clean. Y’all must have a magnetic garage floor! All of my dropped sockets end up in the dark abyss engine bay😂.
I have there 6 and for the price it has been great. I mounted mine in the little change holder area since I have the Willys. Looks perfect and easy access.
I just love that color on your Jeep! I’m looking at the switch panel that fits the factory aux switch location for Ds JLU. We missed that option on her Willys, but she did get Punkin Orange Metallic! Switches come after the rear bumper I’m told… 😬 Good vid y’all.
Weird question… is it possible to substitute lower amperage fuses for higher just by changing out a fuse to say 30 amps or is it wired in a doo hickey sort of way so components per channel are rated for 5,10,15 etc?
Personally idk what I’d use this for. I have my forward KC’s on a simple rocker switch, my winch is direct to battery, my rear lights relayed off the reverse lights, I have CO2 for tires… the only thing I really need to still wire up is my radio been using cigarette lighter plug for that. Everything just has its own switch already.
Where did you end up mounting the circuit breaker? I may have to move my box from drivers side to the same place as yours. I wonder if the cable is long enough to reach!
How did you tap into ACC? I feel like that step always gets skipped in videos. I did a micro2 fuse tap into the cigar lighter fuse which was one of the options.
@@RustbustersCA do you have one or are you just stating what happens in the video? Main power comes from the battery. What governs when or not when the switch panels back lighting is on and active if the vehicle is on or off if there is no connection to the fuse box through a wire splice or a fuse tap?
They have redesigned it on the newer units. There is more of a gap between the housing button. I just completed my install last week. That was the first thing I inspected😂.
Another Great video guys definitely have to order one for my JT... Hey the 20% off for the Moore expo you have in your link is that for the admission? and is that for single day or all 3 days?
when i heard you say a "shes gonna have a snorkel that goes here" i got even more excited to see what this vehicle becomes, love the content.
Not gonna be a pavement princess. Lol

I've been contemplating putting in this exact unit. Thanks for making it an easy decision! YOU GUYS ROCK!
Just put them in my Jeep and ordered another for the land cruiser. They work great!
Been looking at these switches. Now I’ve ordered them. Thanks for the code. See you at MOORE.
I have the 4-button factory installed Aux Panel in my JLU, but I will definitely be doing this for my Chevy Colorado ZR2. 👍🏻 Good stuff!

Very nice! Great Job young lady. when I get ready for lights, I will definitely look into this panel. Thank you
Way to go Cara! Pink is definitely you signature color.
Great install Cara!
Nice video. Hard work... opening the hood. 😂
You are a great duo.
I have the Garmin power switch. Bluetooth and super easy to wire. Controls all my lights and compressor.

Is the Aux Panel housing waterproof? Sealed gaskets?

You should do a dual battery on her Jeep.
Can you mount that on the A pillar of the jeep with a ball mount?
I have the aux in my jtr but would not mind more switches.
Good vid man
@@mikebrown200004 a pillar is where I mounted mine.
Where did you run the wiring through the firewall at? Nobody ever shows or details that part.
JLs have a little plastic disc on the drivers side you can remove and pass them through.
Every vehicle is different. The wranglers make it pretty easy.
I run wires under the windshield. Just fold it down and you can get your wires in. Zero issues a year later

Awesome setup. What bracket did you use to mount the controller up highline that?
It's the bracket that comes with it. I just screwed it into the plastic trim up there.
Great vid! I appreciate it
awesome
You glossed over how you got the cable from the cab to the engine bay. Kind of the most important part
It’s also the part that’s completely different for each vehicle. How I did it in a Wrangler is irrelevant if you have a Toyota.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures yeah but I'd just watch a Toyota install. Jeep people are the ones that are watching
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures check comments it's all jeep owners bud
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures but regardless the video was well done and convinced me to do it myself as well.
what is the two sided outlet versus one sided outlet options?
Not sure what you mean.
I wish my wife was into Jeeps enough to want her own :(

its not tapped into ACC it's wired to the battery

@@DarksideOffRoad it has its own switch to control the power / lighting of the box
@@DarksideOffRoad I have one as well. Well not the fancy RGB one but same deal otherwise
@@DarksideOffRoad not to mention you're running up to 60 amps through the control box. You do not want the power coming in on a 24 Guage acc wire
The plastic cover over the breaker has caused people issues. Might want to consider removing it.
Haven't had a problem on my JT yet. Will keep an eye on it.

Great
How did you mount the switch panel to the visor
It's not mounted to the visor. It's mounted to the trim panel behind the visor.
