From a narrative standpoint, Isha also represents the unconditionally love Vi and Powder had for each other. I think it's very interesting that while Vi continually tries to separate Powder from Jinx ("My sister is gone", "You're not my sister, you killed her" etc), she's confronted by Isha who kind of becomes an externaization of her buried love and protective inclination towards her sister.
Jinx has a more muted and colder color scheme, sort of dead looking, but Isha has brighter brown colors and looks much more alive. I liked what they did with Jayce this season. Last season, when Vi was trying to get him to have a paradigm shift about the way that he was helping people with hextech, she was very blunt and didn't sugarcoat it at all. The way that she did it made him completely disengage from helping her with her goals. In this season, Ekko is also trying to change Jayce's mind but he's logically disproving Jayce's own statements slowly and he doesn't seem to question that Jayce genuinely wants to help people. He's not letting him off the hook, and he's actually trying to make Jayce's approach to helping people better. Jayce also seems to have a soft spot for Caitlyn in a way that he does not establish boundaries or has very loose ones when it comes to her.
Ngl the scene where Sevika protects both Jinx and Isha from the Giant Gusts of wind Like that's was so cute. I feel like Sevika is gonna be the Mother bear to both Jinx and Isha. Edit: also just realized Jinx has only ever had like father figure and never had a mother figure other than her original mother. So like maybe Sevika can finally fulfill that?
She has been. She was the closest woman in her life. She saw her grow up and maybe also taught her how to fight because they do fight im a similar way. I don’t know why else would jinx make an arm for her out of the boxing machine that vi used to practice if she didn’t have any love or attachment to her
13:11 Right after this moment. When Sevika triggers the gas release. Jinx sees what Sevika is doing and her first reaction is to covers Isha's body with her own and roll over the edge of the table. I think for Jinx. She sees everything as broken. Her relationship with Vi. Piltover and Zhaun. Herself. Isha. Sevika's arm. In her mind everything is broken and all she is doing is looking for things that she can fix.
I know its a small bit but when Jax has her first monologue to Isha, she picks up Isha's hat and puts it back on Isha's head which is a caretaker gesture.
If taking in Isha does become a turning point for Jinx it could be an interesting subversion of Vander and Silco's arcs. Vander gave up on his fight against Piltover because keeping Vi and Powder safe was more important to him. When Silco was finally offered what he had always wanted: independence for Zaun, but was told the price of it would be Jinx he knew he couldn't take the deal. He realized that she was more important to him than everything he had spent his whole life working for. As he so eloquently put it to Vander's statue "Is there anything so undoing as a daughter?" At this point Jinx is already undone. She doesn't care what happens to Zaun or even if she lives or dies. But if her love for Isha ends up inspiring her to take up the fight against Piltover oppression, to have hope that life can be better for her adopted daughter, that would bring the entire series full circle!
I think the reason why Jinx hugged Isah back is Vi. She was trying to get the kid to go away as long as Cait was a threat, the instant Vi stood in between she knew Cait was not a threat to the kid anymore, so it was safe to let the hug go on.
I want to see Jinx try and get closer to Vi, the way Jinx looks at Vi grabbing the gun away from Caitlyn. It seems like Jinx’s perspective of Vi is changing.
I picked it too, Jinx is Isha's Silco. From daughter to mother. I suppose that it'll bring a softer side to Jinx. But I wonder about the Isha/ Vi relationship.
Imagine if da Vinci, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Mozart, Hitchcock, and Kubrick all worked together and said, "Let's create the masterpiece of all time, one that will drive humanity mad with every detail they analyze." That is the effect of Arcane.
5:46 “it’s always me” that line feels like it could come back and haunt Jinx and Isha because we didn’t when Isha lost her parents, we saw Jinx walking through the streets seeing children running away from the corrupts adults. Isha could’ve been one of the recently orphan children or she was already one who knows, from the trailers it looks like Jinx would be made into a revolutionary by the young children but they may not know who Jinx is because of what Kaitlyn has done, they will see Jinx as a hero without knowing that Jinx is responsible for the chaos 🤔
8:50 Jinx made Sevika the perfect weapon. If you will recall in S1. Both times we saw Vi get into a fight with Sevika. Sevika was in the middle of gambling. This casino style arm suits Sevika's personality perfectly.
Not necessarily. Jinx tragically losing the person she loves most would just be a rerun at this point. I have faith that Arcane will do something more interesting with Isha then kill her off. (Though it will still be tragic.)
Yeah, Isha is definitely majorly important for Jinx moving forward. Here now is someone she can protect and wants to, even if she may not realize it yet. She's walking in the footsteps of Vander and Silco, who were willing to put their old dreams of vengeance and power aside for these young orphan girls who found themselves in their care and they saw pieces of themselves in. Now, will Jinx be able to break the cycle that has left her and Vi so damaged and keep Isha from walking down such dark paths? We shall have to wait and see. Also, I love the point you make about how it will be Jinx seeing herself through Isha's eyes that will drive her forward into embracing her role as a symbol of Zaunite Independence. Here is this young girl she's found herself in the care of, but she doesn't see her elder as the monster she herself sees herself in. No, what she sees is a protector, a teacher, a _hero._ And what greater reason can someone who becomes a parent have to change, than to become the person that their child sees in them? On a final note, how the heck do you keep finding all these costumes that fit so well with your videos? I am honestly curious.
One thing I have noticed, right before jinx shoots the goons that were chasing isha, she puts her hand on her head to protect her. Same msg when silco put his hands around powder on theire first meeting in my opinion.
See i love watching stuff like this it's always fun to find people of like mind. Having role's reverse and Jinx becomes the protector and vi goes to a dark place... Hmm so good. Ps love the fact you got a helmet that is perfect for your cosplay 😊
im in LOVE with these videos and its so fun going through this arcane journey at the same time as you are! im looking forward to a video about jayce and viktor as well
Beautifull detail is that when Vi protects Jinx and Isha they cut to a stone carving of Janna the spirit that is assossiated whit protecting the dispossessed of Zaun.
Okay, Georgia...Isha is off the charts adorable. I have nieces and nephews...also off the charts adorable. But I tend to feel protective of...and want to make the world a better place for... not only them...but for a wide range of people. People I may never even meet. So much heartache and sorrow and danger in this world. Too many hard hearts.
OMG,I was so waiting for this video!! I’m loving Isha and Jinx relationship! I dont know what to do with myself if one of them dies 😭😭 Also,Jinx and Sevika? Wow,their dynamic is so cool!
I started reading the title slowly. It wasn't even all visible from the widget size in yt. At "undoing" my eyes were full of tears. That line always hits me. Before I even start watching.
It looks like the gangs in the Lanes are kidnapping kids to recruit them. Is that why Isha is running from the clones in the beginning? If so it makes total sense that Isha sees Jinx as a savior.
Vi definitely had that Vander moment, of realizing someone does care for Jinx and that she was about to do what her had happened with her parents to someone else. It definitely wasn’t just that the girl could have been hurt, to her the situation had changed entirely. I think not only only this relationship of repeating the cycle, but seeing Jinx desperately trying to get Isha away also made her realize there was still humanity left in Jinx. I think in that moment she lost her resolution to kill Jinx.
I don't think Isha's story ends in happily ever after. I see Jinx growing increasingly attached to her and she becomes someone Jinx wants to protect I don't about daughter but definitely little sis vibes. During her fight with Vi it seems like she wanted to die but after Isha shields her she sort of snaps out of it and does her best to protect the kid. But given how Cait was willing to risk hitting her to get to Jinx and how Mel's mother has no issue ending children to secure power I see something bad happening to her. right now Jinx is relatively well balanced. For her anyway but if something happens to Isha, and I think something will, then she will plunged into the deep end.
I see a lot of Jinx trying to channel Sevika and Silco in her treatment of Isha - she molds her, but she also empowers her and treats her as an equal. I think that for Jinx, Isha specifically symbolizes Powder. In the "Enemy" music video, it's heavily alluded to that Jinx is this protective shell around Powder, desensitized and detached. And with this little girl with a penchant for inventions following her, she can externalize that aspect of herself just as she externalized her guilt and regret into the Milo and Claggor dolls in S1. It's why Jinx was horrified at the end of ep3, seeing the personification of Powder fight to save Jinx from Violet. It's why Jinx fought to save Isha from doing exactly what Powder did that led to Jinx's existence, at the end of S2Act2 - it's bad enough that she can't just be Powder, but for once she found a space where she can be Powder again, to grow up as Powder and reconsider Viktor's offer, and now she's losing her all over again.
the way you describe things towards arcane is beautiful. it feels like you not only diagnosed what was going on but were part of creating it. still here from arcane S1 your explanations help me relate to these characters on another level and helps me think about some of my problems. thank you for the arcane videos! :D
I remember i found your channel around the first arcane and always loved your perspectives. im happy i get to watch this final journey of arcane with your thoughts on it also. Really helping me understand what im feeling and seeing sometimes.
As always the cosplay is on point, did you find that helmet or have to make it yourself? O.o I agree that it seems like Isha is going to play the same role to Jinx to she did to Silco. I forget where I heard it said, but someone pointed out that when Silco felt betrayed by his brother he adopted Jinx. Now that Jinx feels betrayed by her sister she is adopting Isha. And so the cycle continues.
I make it and it was a white regular helmet from a hardware store i wasn't sure how close it would look when I was done with it but I am really happy how it ended yp
The name Isha also happens to mean "one who protects" in Hindu, probably not a coincidence and that it's not just because she protected Jinx in episode 3.
I have been looking forward to your videos since season 2 started coming out; it extends the joy of watching for me. I am always eager to hear your breakdowns of the characters and their psychology - it's deeply fascinating. I love this show/season so much. The writing is just ...incredible. Thanks for your videos!
When you mentioned the imprinting thing that happened Isha, it reminded me of an anime where this type of dynamic started for two characters who were always at a low point & it explains it quite a lot.😄 Also, will we see a Sevika breakdown because I was surprised by the new funicular between her and Jinx during Act 1?😂
Hey Georgia, love your video's. Wonder about the Vi and Jinx relationship (but best to wait till all the arcs are out). I feel like Isha helps Jinx connect with her past and also remind her of her desire for family. As I already watched Arc 2, what really struck me was how Jinx was able to talk about her past and mention her family and Powder, when before those names were triggers to her. She has acknowledged her change, but can now look back without losing her mind. Isha in act 2 is almost like Powder, something Jinx herself states. But were before she tried to bury her (mostly at the insistence of Silco) and made Powder the source of her pain (as if she was a different person instead of her past self), she talked with some fondness about her to Isha. She knows she cannot go back, but also realises that doesn't have to mean everything about her life as Powder has to be gone. Especially her connections with her family and her ability to have a sister-like relationship with Isha. Her playing with Isha must remind her of what she and Vi used to have. She fears they will never have that again, but Jinx can have that relationship (which she so craves) with Isha. Only now Jinx has to be the protector and supportive big sister instead of Vi. What also strikes me is how she states in ep 4 to Isha that 'Jinx is dead' and that that life 'was as sweat as last years milk', showing me that she has come to hate that life as it destroyed any relationship she had (though especially with Vi and Ekko). She would give up that life gladly for a life with a sister, just playing around. Since she feels Vi and her have grown too far apart and cannot grow back (till a fury friend shows up), she will have that sibling relationship (which she has longed for ever since Vi got taken from her) with Isha. The next Arc where all 4 of them hug, is the ultimate proof to me that Jinx has never stopped longing for her family (old and new). She just felt that she never deserved it or that her family was out to hurt her (I wonder what one-eyed prick could have told her that). Question: Do you think that Isha helps Jinx reconnect with her past as Powder? Silco kept telling her that was weakness (alongside any relationships 'Powder' might have), but she is now talking about it with a measure of fondness and sadness that it is lost to her (which is why she is so protective of Isha) and talking about her life as Jinx as a painful part. Also, her ability to talk about Powder with some fondness instead of pain and anger (egged on by years of Silco's 'lessons'), is heartwarming to me. It's a strange way of healing your past by acknowledging it. You cannot go back, but you don't have to bury your past ('nothing ever stays dead' after all).
This is spot on!! I also believe this is the moment where Jinx is coming back to life.. she’s grounding herself with Isha and Vi and Jinx (I hope) will be able to have some sort of understanding and empathy towards one another now. I truly believe Jinx is going to become the hero now, she is so broken and I think this is where she begins her road back to redemption
I'd love to know your thoughts on why Jinx has mostly been free of hallucinations and psychosis after what happened! I thought it would continue for her because the trauma was compounded, but it seems like she's in a healthier mental state after Silco. Could it be that she's actually learning to accept her complicated identity (not as solely Powder or Jinx, but whoever she is) with Vi and Silco gone from her? And then with Isha, she gets this person she can securely attach to, which helps even more.
Vi suddenly realized she was wearing an enforcer uniform and about to kill a Zaunite in front of their kid. That's when she knew she had gone too far.
Exactly! She was going to be the monster of her and Jinx's childhood. I think that's why she stopped, she recognized the fear and her sister.
While I agree, I think it was more to do with the fact that Caitlyn was willing to go there in front of a kid and whether she was a good shot or not it shouldn't be worth the risk in Vi's mind.

Well...what a timing
im crying after act 2😭
HOW IS YOUR COSPLAY ALWAYS ON POINT??
I keep asking the same thing. She is better with a seeing machine and a hot glue gun than me for sure.
7:00 isha is the one to throw the paintbomb to help
Ngl the scene where Sevika protects both Jinx and Isha from the Giant Gusts of wind Like that's was so cute. I feel like Sevika is gonna be the Mother bear to both Jinx and Isha.
Edit: also just realized Jinx has only ever had like father figure and never had a mother figure other than her original mother. So like maybe Sevika can finally fulfill that?
She has been. She was the closest woman in her life. She saw her grow up and maybe also taught her how to fight because they do fight im a similar way. I don’t know why else would jinx make an arm for her out of the boxing machine that vi used to practice if she didn’t have any love or attachment to her
I hope in act 3 Sevika & Jinx get to bond over the news of Isha actions at end of act 2.
12:03 I really want to know what Georgia thinks about this scene when Jinx said "I'm glad it's you"
i will do it for sure
As he so eloquently put it to Vander's statue "Is there anything so undoing as a daughter?"
At this point Jinx is already undone. She doesn't care what happens to Zaun or even if she lives or dies. But if her love for Isha ends up inspiring her to take up the fight against Piltover oppression, to have hope that life can be better for her adopted daughter, that would bring the entire series full circle!
Isha is so cute ☺️ I don’t know where you get these costumes but they are amazing
I made it and I am really proud of the work I did on the hat = ))
@@GeorgiaDow You should be! Awesome work
@ nice 😊
@@GeorgiaDow you put so much effort in your videos it's inspiring!!
I think the reason why Jinx hugged Isah back is Vi.
She was trying to get the kid to go away as long as Cait was a threat, the instant Vi stood in between she knew Cait was not a threat to the kid anymore, so it was safe to let the hug go on.
I think Jinx doesn't want to come to the realization that she actually likes Isah when she tried to get her off from her.

Seeing jinx and Isha makes me miss Silco and Jinx😔 I miss my co-dependent trauma-bonded father-daughter duo sooo bad this season
Came back to send best wishes to anyone in the comments for the newest three episodes as I am now absolutely devastated.
I need a mental health break after the latest episode ✌🏽😭
Imagine if da Vinci, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Mozart, Hitchcock, and Kubrick all worked together and said, "Let's create the masterpiece of all time, one that will drive humanity mad with every detail they analyze." That is the effect of Arcane.
5:46 “it’s always me” that line feels like it could come back and haunt Jinx and Isha because we didn’t when Isha lost her parents, we saw Jinx walking through the streets seeing children running away from the corrupts adults. Isha could’ve been one of the recently orphan children or she was already one who knows, from the trailers it looks like Jinx would be made into a revolutionary by the young children but they may not know who Jinx is because of what Kaitlyn has done, they will see Jinx as a hero without knowing that Jinx is responsible for the chaos 🤔
its always me ... heartbreaking
8:50 Jinx made Sevika the perfect weapon. If you will recall in S1. Both times we saw Vi get into a fight with Sevika. Sevika was in the middle of gambling. This casino style arm suits Sevika's personality perfectly.
i love the cosplays every time you do an analysis 🙏
They're ABSOLUTELY going to murk this child.
Not necessarily. Jinx tragically losing the person she loves most would just be a rerun at this point. I have faith that Arcane will do something more interesting with Isha then kill her off. (Though it will still be tragic.)

We are 2, I feel horrible...
Going back here after watching episode 6 hits a little different
Props to the animators for doing such an incredible job of executing all these emotions in such a manner.
You make me emotional how you analyze things and let your emotions be shown ❤
I like how it's only been a week and we already have an Isha cosplay
Its so interesting that you said all this because that's exactly what Isha is for Jinx.
Especially after watching the new episodes too.
after the newest episodes, i can proudly say that i am Miserable watching this video

Can u please do Sevika and jinx’s relationship, or maybe wait till after act 2 since the trailer looks like they are still working together
yes i cant wait

One thing I have noticed, right before jinx shoots the goons that were chasing isha, she puts her hand on her head to protect her. Same msg when silco put his hands around powder on theire first meeting in my opinion.
The way you got emotional talking about Vander getting out of that bridge as a father ❤ this show is truly an unique piece of art
seems like jinx is gonna start to understand more about vi, now that she's acting almost as an older sister to isha
Perfect cosplay and character analysis for this Friday
Now and with the knowledge of S2E6, the final scene of S2E6 … when „Isha‘s Song“ kicks in … it hits even harder …
See i love watching stuff like this it's always fun to find people of like mind.
Having role's reverse and Jinx becomes the protector and vi goes to a dark place... Hmm so good.
Ps love the fact you got a helmet that is perfect for your cosplay 😊
thanks grim = )))
Jinx is my favorite character of all time, every scene with her is enjoyable, not just the action.
im in LOVE with these videos and its so fun going through this arcane journey at the same time as you are! im looking forward to a video about jayce and viktor as well
Amazing as always!! i love the details and efforts you put into your Cosplays and of course the Analysis of the characters.
Thank you so much!!
Yesssss!!! I was almost as excited to see you back at it as I was for the show itself!
Beautifull detail is that when Vi protects Jinx and Isha they cut to a stone carving of Janna the spirit that is assossiated whit protecting the dispossessed of Zaun.
FYI, the name Isha comes from the subtitles/credits, so it is canon.
thanks
Okay, Georgia...Isha is off the charts adorable. I have nieces and nephews...also off the charts adorable. But I tend to feel protective of...and want to make the world a better place for... not only them...but for a wide range of people. People I may never even meet. So much heartache and sorrow and danger in this world. Too many hard hearts.
it can make us more protective
After Ekko saves the day in the finale of season 2, I would really love a 2-4 hour video on him, I just love this character so much 😊
1:30 Isha is actually an official name for her. You can find that the Netflix captions refer to her by that name
Cait fell for the Teemo global taunt
😅cait going to kill teemo for pentakill but Vi took the kill.... Bruh thats why they seperate
OMG,I was so waiting for this video!!
I’m loving Isha and Jinx relationship! I dont know what to do with myself if one of them dies 😭😭
Also,Jinx and Sevika?
Jinx doesn’t have the visions or voices anymore either she’s completely embraced the jinx persona.
You got that cosplay ready quickly the costumes are always so good too. Underrated part of the video.
You couldn’t have been more right!! I can’t wait for you to see the new episodes 😅
@1:30 Isha's name is only found when subtitles are turned on.
Edit: After watching this video, I believe it's found in the scene @12:20
@@royorellana8829 There's also a music video by Riot Games called "Isha's Song" out there, as well as a clip from Netflix called "Jinx meets Isha".
I love the reflections of the violet and (baby-)blue lights within your "Isha" helmet prop, mirroring the arcane lighting style "under its hood"
You have to do this topic again after episode 6
I remember i found your channel around the first arcane and always loved your perspectives. im happy i get to watch this final journey of arcane with your thoughts on it also. Really helping me understand what im feeling and seeing sometimes.
As always the cosplay is on point, did you find that helmet or have to make it yourself? O.o
I agree that it seems like Isha is going to play the same role to Jinx to she did to Silco.
They are a cool duo! I hope the show didn't kill off the kid 😢! Huge respect for Sevika for teaming up with Jinx
The name Isha also happens to mean "one who protects" in Hindu, probably not a coincidence and that it's not just because she protected Jinx in episode 3.
Watching this after act 2 hits deep
This awesome video really made me appreciate Isha.
(Spoilers)
Only for my soul to be immediately crushed by Season 2 Act 2.
I have been looking forward to your videos since season 2 started coming out; it extends the joy of watching for me. I am always eager to hear your breakdowns of the characters and their psychology - it's deeply fascinating. I love this show/season so much. The writing is just ...incredible. Thanks for your videos!
When you mentioned the imprinting thing that happened Isha, it reminded me of an anime where this type of dynamic started for two characters who were always at a low point & it explains it quite a lot.😄
Also, will we see a Sevika breakdown because I was surprised by the new funicular between her and Jinx during Act 1?😂
Which anime?

15:14 Loved the way you said, “I’m gonna get emotional”
You cannot go back, but you don't have to bury your past ('nothing ever stays dead' after all).
all I can say is "prepare your mind, heart, and soul for what comes next"
this show is brilliant
oh my... I just watched act 2 and the finale... well... be prepared for all feelings...
I've been looking forward to this video coming out!
