There is an optional fireplace in the Wilmington plan! They just did not include that option in the model home that I filmed. If you are interested in if they have one available with a fireplace, you can reach out to me at somer.szostak@exprealty.com :)
Hi! Nice video! I always heard that as a buyer, we should avoid DR Horton Homes because of the horror stories. Is the one from North Carolina better? Honest feedback please. Thank you!!!
I think it varies a lot by region! I have heard those stories too, but I have had several clients buy with DR Horton and they have not had any issues. For some people it makes sense depending on budget and what size house they need. I do NOT advise looking at their “express” collection… only the “traditions” neighborhoods. That is also why it is important to get your own 3rd party inspections and work with a realtor experienced in new construction. Remember, the sales agents job is to represent the builder’s best interest! Reach out to me anytime: 9193603120
I purchased a DR Horton home in 2022 and have not had any problems. Be sure to get at least one home inspection, especially if you are looking to buy a home that is not already built/completed. I do think a lot of the issue revolves around certain subcontractors not being very dependable. Of course, that could happen with any builder's homes.
No fireplace in the Wilmington model? hmm...🤔
