One of the best sounds I've ever heard AND felt, was when I was able to turn up a 50W non-master Plexi to get it cooking and driven..... OH MY LORD did it sound amazing!!
Great video! What a reminder of how different a real cranked amp / speaker cab in the room sounds from almost every RUclipsr amp review that records through an Ox or CaptorX. This sounded great and more realistic because it was.
Sound good. I'm considering getting one of these. I appear to like your playing more than you do judging by the extreme grimacing every time you play a note. Whatever's happening, it looks painful!
Interesting. Thanks for that. I've had mine for a week and already loving it, I had the 22 previous to this. I'm running mine through a Zilla 2x12 cab and Two Notes Captor x, also don't have neighbours as such so it can be quite loud in my flat. Also at the moment just been using the vintage channel with a Keeley Noble Screamer in front of the amp and boosting it with a Ceriatone Centura as a clean boost, sounds great this way but I think I may just have to hire a room and let rip. Cheers:)
I've been taking my nice amps to a rehearsal studio for over 10 years probably every 5 to 12 months - there is nothing like a nice delay into a couple of nice amps in stereo
Sounds fantastic of course 😊 What is the name of the dB meter?. Those that I tried couldn't measure above 100. I have played loud many times at my work with a Engl fireball and a victory the kraken preamp.
Out of curiosity, what speakers are actually in that 4x12? Greenbacks? Vintage 30s? Something else? Sounds amazing though. I'll just have to stick to my V4 Sheriff and Two Notes with headphones!
@@spada60 sounds good. Worth spending time tweaking things on it, cab choice, mics, placement and so on. I have a bunch of presets I like, and bought a few more virtual cabs for different tones. The V4 has become my ideal nighttime/"quiet" rig for playing at home, now I'm getting used to how the Two Notes stuff works and got some presets I like. I like the Sheriff cab packs Victory put out, they go really well with the V4.

Well said!
I always click on your videos for the actual content but inevitably get distracted by your watches
Sounds great! Nothing beats cranked tubes. Next time you've got to dime it!
Next time!
The strat straight into the amp 👌👌👌, and the mythos was pretty crazy 🔥
Great video. Very nicely made.
Thanks man!
These are the kinds of things you need to invite me to Jackson dammit!
The rehearsal space looks class, where is it?
It won’t be the last time I promise! Next time…
It’s Matchbox rehearsals in Warrington
Master never got high enough would have really came to life at around 3 oclock at least my sheriff 22 does.
I'm impressed you got the 412 cab in the boot of that Tesla!!
Hahaha so was I! Although it’s a Mazda 😉

Does turning up the master volume give much more headroom?

Love that!
Hot Rod channel FTW! Cheers!
Right on!
Is it suitable for home use ?
Sounds fantastic of course 😊

I have one called decibelX I think that has gone over 120 for me
It’s called NIOSH SLM. random name but seemed the most comprehensive
6 mins in and im home 🤩🤩🤩🤩
How good did the Darlington Flyer sound at the end?!
Those start tones could cause world peace….. because it would obliterate all who stand in your way.

I believe Vintage 30s
I have a V4 Sheriff preamp and a two notes cab M+ how does the V4 sound through the headphones out of the two notes as I plan to use it the same way
