Hi! I'm glad you found the video useful! There would be certain precautions that I would do to try to prevent the dodginess of sharing a house with a stranger but so far the people I have met are all super wholesome!!!

i am planning to move from Cyprus to Birmigham. its really scary but i really don't feel like sharing a house. I would love my privacy but i don't know how to search and find one decent.
Hi! You can try looking for studios or one bedroom apartments online! Sometimes landlords or agents will advertise them on Spareroom but you can probably find more choices on platforms like Rightmove or zoopla!
Birmingham is not safe people are rough and areas are dodgy and locals are racist .
I'll be relocating to Birmingham in the nearby future. Is there any tips or advice I should be aware of (I plan to use platforms like Rightmove/Zoopla etc.). I've been looking at 1 bed apartments near Jewellery Quarter, what's a realistic budget for that area you think?

Thank you for the compliment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I have never used the platforms you mentioned so I'm not too sure about the experience. Based on the property in Jewellery Quarter that I have viewed in this video, I think the budget for a 1 bedroom flat would need to be around £1000+ per month. There could be cheaper ones but I think most properties around this area would be this range!
Hello while apartment searching & doing your irl viewing did you think that the apartments buildings there had more apartments available than they but in the websites & apps?
& do you believe that i can find an apartment in 1 to 2 weeks after arriving in Birmingham in a week?

Thanks for the video. The rent rate include the bill you shared is it split with your flat mate or this is total? Surprisingly the rent rate I have seen so far is quite expensive which more than a 1000, are you looking for the flats in Rightmove ? Thank you
Hi! Is this about the final property I went with or the other property? The ones with bills not included are already split between me and the flat mates so the total cost of the bills will be more than what I have mentioned! I use spareroom instead of rightmove because I'm just looking for a shared property rather than renting one out on my own!

I would recommend having an in person viewing before you pay any deposit to ensure that the property is real and the person that advertises it has access to it!

Hi! The cheapest I have seen is around £360/m bills not included. But it is much further away from the city centre.
