Hey! Yes the bills are included in the rent. They provide a mini fridge, a heater and a microwave. I bought an iron and a mixer grinder here from Amazon.
Do you have kitchen appliances in India??? I thought it was just like one big fire with a pot on and some skewers around and some Indian woman with three arms cooking some curry n stuff

Yes. Officially they’re allowed to stay gor 3 days. But no one comes and checks so it doesn’t really matter

No you won’t need a guaranter for student accommodations. However if you’re looking for cheaper, private accommodations then the landlords might ask for a guaranter. Hope this helps

It depends on the accommodation. Mine allows guests upto 3 days. You’ll have to check it with the one you’ve booked or about to book

University of Birmingham is a Russell group University. So I would definitely suggest that. But also do your own research and check out their modules and stuff...which one is offering a better course

Hey. September intake sees more students coming in maybe that is why the sites are pushing properties for September intake. However there are quite a few accommodations for January intake, too. I found mine through univer living. Their agents are quite helpful. Send an enquiry and they’ll reach out to you :)

Obviously Birmingham Is cheaper ,London is way expensive because it is a big city and has most of the job opportunities and has a higher and better living standards.

I’d say start looking a bit early like in September because accommodations tend to fill up quite quickly and if you don’t start early you won’t get a lot of options to choose from ☺️
