I paused it just to try to get back into the rhythm of the mechanics from playing other games. I think I might just farm until lvl 400 total before I play and I think I’m on NG1, can’t remember. I’ll have to backdoor MG Palace again. I deleted the NPC 🤷🏿♂️ on my first play through. I’m just curious, do you have to download the DLC before or after you level up? I’m guessing it doesn’t matter. I just updated it last night to play and get familiar with it again but I’m not sure if I needed to actually download the software now, so things transfer 🤷🏿♂️

Ty. I bought the dlc since I beat the base game over a year ago. I loaded up and completely forgot I did new game plus 1 instead of leaving it alone. I almost just gave up and searched for a quick way to mohg and Radahn. This video helped a lot. I need to now find a super quick way to trigger radahns festival beat him and then start the dlc.
Well I’m glad this helped you get to what you needed quick. For Radahn since you already beat the game you should be able to just walk up and maybe have a boss fight beforehand, hard to say that’s been a while for me
@@McCallumCade I was able to find another cheese guide that lets you jump off the map into his boss arena which triggers the statue of Marika and loads you into the portal before his boss arena. It took a couple tries and was able to get it. I looked up the normal triggers for radhan and that would have taken me forever. I’ve been playing the dlc since then. Ty again.
@@McCallumCade yup bought the DLC loaded downloaded the game again. I come back and none of my site of grace are there anymore. But the whole map is unlocked
@@D4izn I had to redo my entire underground (unlocking all graces again) and beat Mohg and Radahn all over again. They also removed my pureblood knight medallion that would allow me to teleport to Mohg's palace.
@@McCallumCade When we choose the Journey 2 option after finishing the main game, the game starts again with some achievements, but since Melina is dead, she is not in Journey2, so Roundtable Hold does not open. You cannot reach Mohgwyn's Palace area. Therefore, you cannot enter the DLC.

So im on NG+ when i stopped playing.. I killed Varre so... i pretty much have to beat the game again to play the dlc.... They should have gave us an item with the dlc that just takes us to Mohg
@McCallumCade It's a bad design, honestly. I like Fromsoft, but I also feel like they tend to make shitty decisions and hide it behind the "It's supposed to be difficult." Mantle. I understand for first-time runners, but if you're in a new game plus there's no reason to hold those players back. I didn't buy the dlc knowing I had to get to Mohg, but learning I have to damn near beat the game again to get to the dlc, it'll be like November by the time I get the play time in to reach that point again. Sorry, I'm just kind of unloaded there, but ya, love Fromsoft but there is a difference between making a difficult game that doesn't hold your hand and just telling players fuck you, quality of life is for punk bitches.
@@TweakerBob You are right. It puzzled me why I have the Mohg Achievement. After killing the right one it gives another one with his title before the name. And now i know why i was sure i killed him because it is just the same model and the same moveset :D
to be 100% honest, I thought it was straight forward enough simply because it is only one route you can take to get to Mohgs palace from the site of grace at the base of the palace. The area is not that big and only so many places you can go in that section of the underground map. its good feedback though! ill keep that in mind for future walkthrough guides

In Mohgs palace you will see Miquellas cacon. Interact with the hand and you will be sent to the dlc if you’ve purchased it, which I assume you have

You probably killed the weaker variant of Mohg. Forget where I found that one but it was in a sewer area I think way before I fought real mohg
