The blood rain from Mohg can actually be deleted by Carian Retaliation and Golden Retaliation. Actually really fun to pull off and makes it funny as it removes the "get off me effect" and lets you stay in aggression longer while he just sits there in his non-existent rain. Any point of the rain can be parried by it, so even if you miss the initial coming down at any point can you walk up and simply turn it off.

Better yet, you don’t have to invade (online) at all. There’s an NPC invasion sign in Altus Plateau, near where you get the Great Stars. Matter of fact the invasion actually gives you a second one so you can dual wield them if you want to get 2% HP back per hit. Back to the main point, all you need to do is kill that NPC and it counts as fulfilling the invasion
I'm rather sure you only need to invade thrice. Also you can parry the blood rain attack with carian retaliation and it makes it disappear, something I learned recently
This is true. Reason I didn’t talk about carian retaliation is that it’s so out of the way that I didn’t want to overly complicate it for newer players. Especially because it’s such a niche use.

Yeah, we're gonna need some new info after 1.12. Terra Magicka got nerfed, you die when you try the out of bounds drop too, which sucks because that was a GREAT method of farming in this area.
Radahn can also be easily cheesed with the regular rotten dragon breath incantation since it can be used while on horse back. Basically what you do is summon all the summons (especially Blaidd and Alexander I find they're the strongest ones). Then wait until he gets aggro on them instead of you; at this point you're free to run up behind him and channel the full incantation. You don't have to be on him just behind which lets you easily run away if you draw his aggro. Rinse and repeat for a second breath attack after which he should be inflicted with scarlet rot; at this point you can just let the summons and rot do the work until phase 2 which clears the rot off him when he goes into the sky. After he comes back down just inflict him with rot again using the same strategy after which you'll win after a little bit. You can also summon Jerron or whatever his name is in the second phase and he's easily the best of the bunch. I saw this strat floating around to help people beat Radahn before he got nerfed if they were having trouble. Also just do Varre's quest line, the npc you invade drops a second great stars which I know you love that thing Youwy. Also it's perfect for the strat you provided to beat Mohg since you can put wild strikes on it.
For the Mohg cheese once you're on the rocks right after getting dismounted from Torrent, you can go left instead of having to go the long way around to the right. The rocks will disappear for a few feet but you can still run around on them. It's just quicker.
For Radahns crazy flying corkscrew attack: on the second part, you can actually just jump over it. I found this out while playing with a warped axe. I tried to jump attack for fun because i was really low health and miraculously i survived the attack. I have tested this a few more times and i have a very high success rate. Better than dodging or tanking for sure.
For the invasions you can also just use the finger severer as soon as you get into the invasion and it will take you back to your world and still count as a successful invasion without having to actually fight

hmm wondering about low levels, killing radahn on low levels is pretty 'easy' because you can just keep summoning and have them kill him, mohg on low levels will be a bit of a headache to figure out though
Can someone confirm this? After speaking with Varre infront of rose church and getting the fingers for invasions, go to academy of raya lucaria and invade Ravenmount Assassin with Yura, instead of killing the guy, kill yourself there 3 times. Someone said if you're playing offline for some reason, this'll be the fastest to reach Mohg in Liurnia of Lakes.
That will not work as far as I know. The Beast dude in Writheblood Ruins is the only NPC that will progress the Varre Quest. You can try the Liurnia invasion but I don't think it will work.
I've been ready since March and my character is now level 317 and I haven't even started New game Plus yet.I can start NG+ anytime but I really wanna go into the DLC lol
Okay, sounds like other people are having the same experience I am, that the Mohg cheese glitch was patched. Looks like if I want to use DLC weapons at the (reasonably) beginning of the game in base NG, I'll need to beat him legitimately. I'm level 45, have the base stats for the Antspur Rapier and the Purifying Crystal Tear, enough vigor to avoid getting one-shot, and I have his first phase patterns effectively memorized. Wish me luck. (Radhan meanwhile...I don't want to say he's _piss_ easy, since his movement is unpredictable and his gravity spells annoying. But Rotten Breath is incredibly convenient, and you have infinitely resummonable distractions, so... 🤷♂)
Guess who hasn’t bought the dlc ? Guess who hasn’t killed mohg on this play through? Guess who hasn’t killed radahn in this play through? Guess who can’t even play Elden ring till Friday night , 24 hours the dlc releases? MEEEE!
I have tried blead and strength for this battle and I died over a 100 times trying to beat mogh yesterday and just now. The attacks are hard to dodge and the second phase, however you call it is also harder to tackle.. there is no easy guide, just dying for days until you have to cheat your way and wave the white flag. I need help beating this boss one way or the other.
It seems to me like they jacked up the festival encounter with Radahn for the DLC release.. I started a new character and I can't even cheese him at level 111 with scarlet rot.. Once he gets below half health the spawn signs stop appearing, and you're pretty much on your own and at the mercy of his many one shot moves. Slower spells can't land on him unless your practically riding his horse with him too. I have to be nearly underneath him and him holding still for the rotten breath spell to stick to him. I have also started fights with him where I can't shake the aggro until he kills me no matter what I do.. It gets tiring running from this chump and waiting for him to turn on the spawns chasing him that rarely ever land a hit as well. One of the most frustrating and ignorant fights in a game full of ignorant and frustrating encounters.. This one takes the cake!
Im going to buy the dlc as i have Elden Ring on PS4 disk, and i want the dlc ready in my game. I haven't finished the game, and im not on ng. Can i still access the dlc area?

hmm wondering about low levels, killing radahn on low levels is pretty 'easy' because you can just keep summoning and have them kill him, mohg on low levels will be a bit of a headache to figure out though
Do u have to have them dead in ur current play through
I've veen camping outside of Mohgs arena offering my Summon Sign to help people but never get summoned lol.
Shit help me
@@lancebrewer7800 are you on Playstation?
I've been ready since March and my character is now level 317 and I haven't even started New game Plus yet.I can start NG+ anytime but I really wanna go into the DLC lol
Youwy you finally did a group password 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have killed both radahn and mohg- the npc is not spawning when i go to mohgwyn palace
What if i already best mohg and radahn in the first playtrough. Do i need to kill them in the second one?
Is it necessary to begin new game + or can we directly enter dlc after becoming elden lord in the 1st game
Guess who hasn’t bought the dlc ? Guess who hasn’t killed mohg on this play through? Guess who hasn’t killed radahn in this play through? Guess who can’t even play Elden ring till Friday night , 24 hours the dlc releases? MEEEE!
Thanks for the tips but I’m I have my own plan that I was planning for around a month or smth so I’m petty sure I’m chillin
I’ve never beat Mohg, I used the wall glitch to cheeses him years ago but that was for some west.
3:27 what helmet is that?
Marionette soldier birdhelm👍
This one takes the cake!
how to defeat boss easily..... get all the buffs and use a super spammable move... thanks bro. like i could not come to that conclusion. lol
man i really looked for a fast guide of the dlc, then i fired my game and i had a lvl150 character waiting in front of Miquella for the last year.
I have killed both mohg and radaghn but still can’t access it. Whyy?
Do you know if you can leave the DLC once entered or are you locked in to complete it?
You can leave. Just go to your Mao and use R1 to enter and leave (just as you use R3 to view underground).
Idk if I cheese him or not but i just used Terra Magica, Cerulean Hidden Tear and Comet Azur .. 😅
I don't know why people struggle with mohg. I might just be over leveled though.
I just called him a poopy head and he faded away
He's a tough boss. And his AoE's are insane. I beat him easily, but I definitely understand why it was so hard for others
Depending on your damage outpout and if you bleed you can outright kill him before he gets to the second phase
It depends on the build, melee players will likely have a harder time than spell or incant users.
He’s one of the bosses that heavily punishes roll spamming - I wouldn’t call him hard, but I’ve definitely been caught out by him in the past.
If you are making a brand new character for the dlc I’d like to know what you do for a living
Please make a dlc tier list
Half of the people who haven’t killed Radahn and Mohg probably quit after being stuck on the Tree Sentinel
Do you really need to kill radam? Cause u can get to mohg and kill it without killing radam
Yes u need to kill radahn
was the cheese patched?
Team youwy
I abused Mohg's shackle to beat Mohg early
All good to play DLC beat fire Giant and both of those bosses using the sorcery character keeping this one making another one lightning build
"Don't feel bad about killing Irina" Only a psycho would say such a thing.
Im going to buy the dlc as i have Elden Ring on PS4 disk, and i want the dlc ready in my game. I haven't finished the game, and im not on ng. Can i still access the dlc area?
All you have to do to access the expansion is beat Mohg and Radahn. That's all you have to do
You don't need to finish the game u can kill mogh and radhan at any time in the game and can access the dlc
Got it. Radahn I did early on to get his rune and armour. Mohg left so it should be easy for a Claymore build right?
@@icandodgebullets7869 Really just depends on you. I suggest using Mohg's shackle, staying behind him and keep attacking. He also bleeds very easily
You can invade Magnus whilst online.
I killed Radahn and Mohg but still can't access DLC in NG+. Anyone know why?
Is it correct to be ng+ because I don’t upgrade the new leveling system in ng because the dlc was not here and i’m scared of the fact that I am gonna be underlevel for the new leveling stat in ng+
It’s fine bro I’m gonna be playing it for the first time in ng+ level 150. Ng+ is barely harder anyway
you said "if you cant beat mohg, you cant beat the dlc", but the reason i do the mohg cheese is to get mohg's broken weapon to beat the dlc.
I have a feeling that weapon isn’t gonna hard carry you through the dlc like it will the base game. You might have to git gud as the kids say lol
@@joesheridan9451 Second this. It was confirmed that there will be a new patch dropping a day before the DLC releases, most likely re-balancing/tweaking weapons for the DLC and, vice versa, balancing DLC weapons/armor for the base game.
maidenless
Why do I need to kill Radahn? I can do Varre's quest can I not?
Him beating beaten is “required” for the DLC, same as Mohg
You can get a +24 weapon before morgott
You can also get a +10 dark moon great sword
stuck on him for 5 days gues ill refund the DLC 🤣
"Tala potah"
Mohg gets stronger if you bleed him, I’m I wrong? I’m pretty sure I remember that if you bleed him, he gets somewhat stronger
Easiest trick to beat them is to get gud
1.12 patched the cheese lmao
Confirmed, I just tried it twice.
@@acomatosemob try it 6 more like I did😊
