Can't wait to hold one myself.. I wonder how it feels, weight distribution, ease of mag entry etc.. Badass looking rifle
When IWI said Q2 release they must have been referring to Q2 2024. I want one of these. How does it compare weight-wise to the CZ Bren 2?
Anyone have a clue how this compares to the Robinson Arms XCR?
No comparison. Short stroke vs long stroke, tge short stroke will win all the time.
Noice!
Kinda like the 3, 6, and 9 covered rails like the on the other IWI products, as well as the Israeli version of Carmel. It is a neat characteristic of their products. Perhaps offer this later? Also, IWI has stopped selling .300/9mm conversion kits for the Tavors(would LOVE to have seen a 6.5 for Tavor 7), so does that mean we will not see that option for the US Carmel? That would significally reduce the selling point for that product here. I am concerned about the direction they are going lately. I have always love how innovative they are with their products. I hope they aren't cutting corners. Good to have the full length top rail, which is a big plus compared to the Israeli Carmel. The foreend seems kind of cheap for a $1800.00 rifle. Would love to see this in action, accuracy and function tests real soon. Could y'all PLEASE bring back the kits for 9mm, and .300blk???? Why is Israel blocking the US side of this?
I don't think even idf uses it
its new, from what I can find, its designed for import. Looks like India is considering it? I read they are going to be producing it in India....can't confirm.
@@geoff_tac i think it comes out 2018 but then atf is like no.
I felt it at the show. Stupid heavy. No interest.
I dont share that opinion, it is no heavier than the galil or tavor
@@geoff_tac 7.5lbs plastic AR-pattern. Piston, but front heavy. It's not going to sell. My X95 SBR is a bit lighter, but all the weight is in the back. What's the point of a plastic AR?
When I first was looking at the Bren 805, I was disappointed that I couldn't use my own magazines. The Carmel allows us to do it.
