This may be 6 years old but.......... since I just started trumpet and got my mouthpiece stuck I bought a mouthpiece puller that I had no idea how to use but this video helped me pull the mouthpiece and told me info about pulling it
I don't think the one he is using here is the Bobcat brand but they all work on the same principle. I bought a cheap one for about $20 and it came with no instructions so this video is handy. The most important part is to make sure the first set of jaws secure the end of your lead pipe very securely so they do not slip. The second set of jaws will vary in adjustment because not all mouthpieces have the same outer shapes and contours. Be patient, good luck.
Try two washcloths, put one in ice water, the other in boiling (or close to it) water. Wear rubber gloves to avoid getting scalded by the hot water. Wrap the cold cloth around the mouthpiece, and the hot one around the leadpipe. Try pulling it out. If it doesn't work at first, knock on the mouthpiece where it meets the leadpipe with your knuckle. That could break it loose. Never use pliers or tools that aren't specifically made for a brass instrument. If the washcloths don't work, take it to a professional repair facility.
