I just made one using the same size hook as you but it looks really tight just wondering if I could use the next size up in hook size our little dachshund pup loves it thank you.

Yes, you can. We stitch differently, your tension may be tighter than mine.

I Have not designed or tried this bigger. I designed it for small dogs, so I don't have the increases, but I know there are several other free patterns that have them.
