Yes they do, if you can, you can go to their website and use their simulator. You input the credit score you have, the amount you want to pay etc and go from there.
I’m 22 years old and from CO and so I’m looking at a 2013 -2014 Chevrolet Camaro with a 640 ish credit score or 635 or something like that but yea but gonna finance it that a good idea ?
That’s a very relative question it all depends on your debt to equity ratio. Do you have other debts you need to pay off? Do you have a 3-6 month emergency savings? Will this be your 1st big ticket purchase? With that score you’re not doing bad at all you’ll just have a higher Apr (interest) rate Bs someone in the 700’s. So it all depends on what you need. If that makes sense. Let me know if you need me to explain further.
I am trying to buy my first used car this year. I saw a nice used 2014 Toyota Camry that costs a little over ten thousand dollars. My budget is $10,000 or so. I like Jeeps too though! A nice Jeep makes for a good all-around SUV. My stepdad drives a Jeep. All his vehicles have been Jeep Grand Cherokees.
Thabk tou so much. To be honest, I believe they are both ideal. I say, juxtapose interest rates etc. All that fine tune stuff, to see what’s a better fit. I believe Carvana drops your car off to you. If that seems like something for you that might be one of your pros for them. 🥰
Interesting question, do you mean what vehicle is good for all seasons? If so, then I will Deff say it depends. I love Jeep, very economical and amazing all thought out.
@@Goldactress yes ma'am, that's what I mean! My original question just typed all wrong 😂 Thank you for your reply! I will be moving to New York soon. I'm in the process of getting my first car. I don't want to get brand new yet. If I can buy used I prefer that.
Ahhhh then yes, if this is your 1st time living in NYC (as in the 5 boroughs) then you will Deff need a suv, with all wheel or 4 wheel drive, and if you can get a 4 or 6 cylinder the better. 4 cylinder being the best for gas. Deff used because you will endure small finder binders. Also, make sure you have bumpers too. Hope this helped.
No, I test drove a similar model the 1st go round, to ensure that, that type of Jeep was the one I wanted. After that, I went back online and picked the style, color etc, then I had it flown in and did a second test drive to ensure that, that actual vehicle was a go. Then I drove it off the lot.
For this they ran it twice, because I let the time lapse. I didn’t realize a hard check only last for 30 days. So, just be sure you are ready to purchase, within 30 days of the hard it or they will have to run it again. Does that make sense.
@@Goldactress yes I'm in that current situation right now. However the lady I spoke with over the phone was telling me even if the time didnt lapse once I fill out the finace application the will run it again when I pick the car I want
@@tc4203 Thats weird. I’ve never heard of anyone running the check twice. It’s already available to shop. Unless it’s a different institution you inquiring about. For example, you go to citi bank and let them run your credit (the hard check is officially open) and then you go to Car max or some where (they will run it again but you won’t lose points because the hard check is already initiated From Citi. I believe you can lose up to 5-10 max. But don’t quote me. It’s been a while since I ran a hard check.
@@Goldactress no I just went to car max and had them run my credit. And as far as the credit check it took way more off than 10 points. However I was told after a couple months it would go up cause all the inquires about your credit for auto will turn in to one inquiry
Lol! No, you really don’t. It all depends on the dealer and what they require. However, most of the times you don’t need to put any money down. What that means is, though, the interest on the loan will calculate on the entirety of the balance. But the name of the game is paying it off fast, if that makes sense.
I can attest to this. Was stressing about the $4k capital one said I needed to put down. I WFH but wanted to just visit a dealership and see what my options were. Was fully prepared to walk away if they didn’t have what I wanted within my payment budget. Salesman ask me what do I have for down payment and I respond nothing 🙂. He chuckles and like oh, ok. My face 😕 lol He shows me a couple of cars and I actually like one, but then he comes back and ask for $500 down. I repeat sir I have nothing but thank you so much for your time today, at least I have a game plan. I shake his hand and almost make it to the door. They call me back in 😅. Drove home in my cute little Jetta with the sunroof I wanted. Not my dream car but it’s something to get me going as I continue working on my credit. Just came across this channel so will be using the principles provided with dividing over 6 months and getting paid ASAP. Wishing you all the best!!
Super glad I just found your channel literally just got the same car and I plan to pay this thing off quick! And I want to refinance for a better apr! I want to pay it off at 12months! I wish I knew the fine print on warranties etc etc
Yay. So happy I can help! Is there any other questions/videos that you may want me to answer for you? I refinanced my car too, which was the huge helper, however, I did it a certain way that would allow my credit to increase… I wish I knew a lot of things that I know now, but that’s ok, the ticket is you know them! Wish you all the best! You got this! 💛 Happy New Year!

Cute video. Thanks.
Thanks for this video. I’m in New Jersey and currently shopping for a car. It’s very overwhelming. I’m gonna look into the CarMax experience.
Thanks for letting me know I need full coverage I can work on that now
Absolutely! 😌😌
Hello! Do you know if CarMax work with bad credit or repos?
Yes they do, if you can, you can go to their website and use their simulator. You input the credit score you have, the amount you want to pay etc and go from there.
You give me Beyoncé and Eva from next top model vibes I love it ❤ thank you for the info

How’s it holding up??
Still going strong. Needs repairs here and there. But JEEPS are a very reliable brand.
