I bought my brand new 2015 John Deere 4052R large frame compact utility tractor with cab and R1 tires and I got the air suspension seat kit and then the bottom and rear seat cushion from the 25 series which was more durable material and got the radio And the rear lights and the shorter throw Gastr for the rear window and then a little exhaust for on top of the hood and a custom hangable and removable prescreen that I hung in front of the radiator for keeping it cleaner and I did custom Field and Brush mowing in a 30 mile radius from Southwest Portland from 2015 until 2019 with it and it was great! My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit got clogged in the roof had to be removed once or twice a year. I also had the spacers on the rear wheels and I would’ve liked that extra step and the lower handle on the outside of the cab because it was a little high for me as a short person. I live in Northwest Ohio planning on buying another one at some pointto do some small scale farming
Some areas in the Pacific Northwest get lots of snow and it hangs around 4 to 5 month each year. I’m in the east slopes of the Cascade mountains of Washington. R4 tires are not good without chains. Period
I use the Nokian Hakkapaleda snow tires on my all wheel drive car and they have amazing traction, better than Blizzaks. My next tractor will have Nokians since I run more hours with winter than summer.

You mentioned using a man lift on your 4052 with 440 loader to prune trees. The manual does not recommend getting onto the loader. Obviously it can handle the weight. Can you be more specific about how you do this?
Is there a skid plate?
Did you mention the engine and pto horsepower?
Hey Mr. GTM, maybe Jason was so excited he forgot that info! The John Deere 4052R has an engine hp of 50.8 and a PTO hp of 40.8 (with the PowrReverser transmission). Thanks for watching!

I recently bought a john deere 4044m tractor to help me in the USA at a Copart auction, faulty (wiring defect).
Do you have an electrical diagram for this model?
10 acres, 50/50 woods vs tillable, 200 yards of rock drive. Is this too much tractor ? Should I go with a 3 series?
Hi Craizg, Thanks for watching! Sounds like you've got a nice place! This is one of those situations where talking with a Team member is best, to get more specifics about what tasks you'll need to do with your tractor. From what you describe, either the 3 Series or the 4052R could work - but like you mention, we really want to be sure you're not buying too much tractor, when something smaller could work just fine.
The 28” tires on the 4 R series make the ride sooo much more comfortable. Worth it!
So does John Deere offer wheel spacers for my 1025r
