Such a well shot, touching video. I admire him for holding his hand up and trying to stop others making the same mistake. Will definitely stay with me and I’m sure shall make me think twice next time I am putting my foot down.

The reason why you locked up is because you applied the handbrake thus resulting in the cars abs only being applied the front in effect reducing your applied brake force and also the back end becoming loose as you where braking had you not applied the handbrake it probably would have been a different outcome, I honestly believe the uk really needs to reform its motoring instutions from the ground up to make sure that when drivers get their licenses that they are rigorously trained and educated as much as possible, knowing and quantifying the limits of a drivers skill, I also think that in conjunction with this highways england and DoT need to start putting motorists in the core focus not cyclists and trains because had there been the infrustructure to cope with the amalgamation of rain water on the road such has proper water dispersion and drainage system the road would have been as covered with standing water on the surface and possibly avoid this crash
