    I am an Australian. I can tell you that the Australian people do not want to be the nuclear target they already are. Despite that reality the vast majority take zero interest in politics, for now. There is a growing number of informed and engaged people here who desire to cut ties with the USA asap, for patently obvious reasons. Fat chance of that, at this point. Australian politics, foreign policy and media is owned by US interests which has progresssively been the case since the USA deposed PM Gough Whitlam 50 years ago because he threatened to close Pine Gap and nationalise our resources. However the rest of the informed world has had enough of US empiralism, it's santions, stealing of assets, it's intimidation of China and Russia, it's destabilization and over throw of democratically elected governments and endless wars etc etc etc. The USA itself has been stolen by a cabal of corporate interests, CIA, Zionists and Wall Street predatorial capital. It's time you lot took your country back before you start something you can't finish and take us with you. Love your channel and all the best.

      The monopoly of America not destroyed in war is over. WW1 and WW2, America remain intact, not so in WW3..
      The war in SCS will be decisive whether America can defeat China or not without going nuclear. If America lost the war, supremacy is gone forever.

    China has spent about 1 trillion dollars US on its high-speed rail network since 2008. The US spent twice this amount, 2.3 trillion dollars US, on the Afghanistan War 2001-2021. Now China has 46,000 kms of high-speed rail networking the entire country travelling at speeds of 350 kmh...more than the rest of the world combined. The US has no high-speed rail and had a humiliating defeat in the Afghanistan war.

    The USA regards itself as a shining light of democracy on a hill in a dark night and berates China as ‘authoritarian’ ( American perspective ). Yet China lifts 800 million out of poverty builds roads , bridges, airports, rail networks and ports not only in its own country but in other countries. America spends trillions on bombing other countries and supplies satellite countries with the means to continue destroying life. Other countries looking at this ask the question well might you present yourself as a bastion of democracy but have you spared a thought for the democratic rights of the nations and peoples you have bombed and killed. Did they have a voice or vote on what would happen to them yet you would want to teach democracy to all the nations of the world. You scatter your military assets in the hope that they would be moved out of harms way regardless of whether you succeed or not you have lost the respect and trust of most of the nations in the global south and your key allies in Asia are preoccupied with their own problems : South Korea with its own president that is behaving like a dictator, the president and vice president of the Phillipines are at each others throats, India is having a too cozy relationship with Russia, Malaysia and Indonesia both predominantly Muslim countries incensed with America being an accessory to the deaths of 77,000 Palestinian women and children. In fuelling these conflicts you have eroded your stocks of munitions, missiles to a low level so to try and make up for it you may be possibly using WSJ to spread disinformation about your reduced military assets. Not the first time a military power has done this. There is another way if you care to try it stop threatening China and your monologue point scoring lectures and start a genuine dialogue then maybe you may have a better chance of making America great again.🤔

Then AU signs agreement to pay US 4 TRILLION$ for submarines. But they must pay whether subs are delivered in whole, part or not at all... More recently AU told not to sell their rare earth minerals to China. So they stop and lost $5 billion from their economy. Did USA know that although China has 85% of rare earth minerals, they have 100% of the processing plants. So AU sits with mineral mines, but no one can use the product... and the tap continues to drip, drip, drip.

    How many school, hospitals and highways is all this costing, and after the airfields are built, they will be good for little or nothing, that's pretty much the definition of any military, but the US takes it to a completely new level. They think nobody can SEE this.
      .
      (Although, there's another perspective. Maybe they are trying to MAINTAIN the M.I.C (and the profits) since IF China completes the Belt and Road project and the vast majority of those 150 countries join BRICS+, there would essentially be no NEED for the US "M.I.C".... Eh?)
      Actually, there's no "MAYBE" about it. That *IS* what they are doing.
      They can see their Gravy Train approaching the end of the line.

    We won the cold war against Soviet Union by dragging them down with enormous military spending out of their much smaller GDP. Now, China is taking a similar but much more clearer approach. China is leveraging their civilian industries (ship building, air plane, drone, etc) to develop military technology at much lower cost, higher speed, and more innovative ideas. On the other hand, we poorly manage our military programs with unsustainable spending. Who is going to lose in the arm race is very obvious.

    • @mandrews1245
      @mandrews1245 26 дней назад

      Yes, we dragged USSR down by enormous military spending. But what sank them was USA and Saudi conspiracy to drive down the price of oil/gas. (That is why USA thought Russia was just a gas station and they would oust Putin and seize their assets within weeks.). Oil/gas was the major source of revenue to sustain USSR. With world prices dropping 80%, USSR was unable to finance anything in their country, including military. Thus they collapsed. How much Gorbachev was involved, I do not know. Historical facts are often changed. What I do know is Gorbachev was given a large foundation, involvement in world meetings, a home overlooking US Golden Gate Bridge, full military security and a promise to be able to meet with every US President during their term. Trump was the only President who did not meet with him.

    The one good thing which might emerge from Trump 47 is America's allies may learn that military assistance treaties aren't worth the paper they're written on. This has always been the case. The US cavalry will only come to the rescue if it's in the US's interests to do so, otherwise _"good luck buddy, don't call us, we'll call you"._ Which is not a criticism. This is what every country should do.

    I'm an Australian and I am pissed that my government has sold out our safety for the Interests of the USA on so many occasions. The only reason anyone has to attack Australia is because we are allied to the USA. Our Two main parties are both very into the alliance though and we will inevitably jump into any war the USA has, as we have for everything since WWII. Very few countries are willing to crater their own economies on behalf of the USA but Australia is among that group, we will F up our biggest trading relationship if the USA asks. As soon as Trump says "Jump", our government will immediately attempt to outdo each other in a stupid jumping contest.
