Glad to see the channel active again! The Algorithm(tm) seems to like approximately weekly uploads; much longer than that and it starts to derank your videos. My recommendation is to put out 'something' cheap to produce on a roughly weekly cadence if you want to get better placement in people's recommendations. There's guides and whatnot out there, but that's the short version.
I will pray for you guys and I wish you all the best. I think videos about life in the dry cabin would do well. That’s something everyone thinks they want to do but most never could.

I've always enjoyed watching the channel. It seems odd that 165000 subs makes you a small channel, but i guess that's the way it goes. I have noticed that other "smaller channels" are having similar problems and can't help wondering if a few of you got together and promoted each other, if that would help.
Any 2A channel is experiencing the same thing , they are always asking folks to check and make sure they are still subscribed , and it's the U Tube folks doing it ! 🎯
Honestly, I think the trick is to remember that this is a hobby and it shouldn't be a job. Not saying people don't make a job of it, but just like in music you gotta do it for the love of it. Do what you enjoy and want to do, don't just make videos to appease the algorithm. Almost all of my favorite channels are just people sharing things they think are cool. And I would argue that that also helps you create content more people will engage with as well.

Please don't delete the channel :D You have a lot of good ballistic data on here that's used for reference! You are right though when it stops being fun it's hard to get motivated. Couple that with how YT decides to not "promote" or how it restricts us further complicates things. I've been on YT for like 15 yrs. No matter what I do, my channel only grows 500 subs a month. Once it hits 500-600, then that's all I get. I've been making the same monthly $$ since I had like 15K subs. I still do it to share information, but at the same time, When you drop $300 on 3 SLAP rounds, that money has to come from somewhere.

Good to see you! RUclips is for sure frustrating at times. I can only speak from my personal experience here, but it seems to go in waves. Earlier this year I got on a good roll and was picking up speed working toward that first 1,000 sub mark, then the last few months slowed down a lot. I have noticed that a weekly video with 3 to 5 shorts in between those uploads seem to be the best combination to get new eyes. I get very busy for weeks at a time with my work, so I slacked off on the shorts for a while and noticed much slower sub growth. Trying to get back into that groove now that things slowed down a little again. That at least is what works for me. Rumble is so hard to get found on. I am having my best month there currently and I show to have made 3 cents!!! Awesome, lol. I think I'm around 14 cents total for the year. I do think in the future, they will be a good place to have already had a presence on, so I just keep at it there. Always good to have a back up. Following the RUclips rules and still being punished is a defeating feeling to deal with. So I understand the frustration you feel. I will say, when you upload a new video after not publishing one for a while, it seems that it will remind some people that they are subbed and maybe they are trying to clean up their own time lines and just unsub from channels they have lost interest in. I would not worry so much about the 5 to 10 lost people, they would not have contributed much of anything in the future anyway. Finding a consistent upload schedule that you can keep is the best thing to keep RUclips happy. They seem to like that the most. Whether once a week, or every 2 weeks, or a true banger video 1 time a month, try to find that schedule that you can keep consistent until things even back out on RUclips's side and swing back into favor for channels like ours. I think the last 5 months at least, RUclips is tamping down on a lot of the 2A channels overall, so nothing to take personally, but it's hard to work through that when you see the analytics. I just ignore that screen, keep making videos, and hope that things will swing the other direction and I'm here ready for it! Sorry for a long comment, maybe it will count for like 8 normal comments!! hahaha. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Keep it up, and I'll be looking forward to seeing what you bring us next!!

I'm losing on every one, but I try to show off the things that I have to get anyway, like tripod for PRS that I'm making video about for this week. I needed it, so was going to get this anyway, turning it into a few videos to hopefully eventually make something back on it. But it will be a while longer before I can monetize. Reached the view time requirement this week of 4,000 hours, just gotta get more subs for the last requirement. Staying on the grind!! The hardest thing is figuring out what RUclips likes. So they may want to experiment with a few release dates and frequency to see which RUclips prefers for their channel. Once a few get caught in the algorithm, they spread well and the benefits come. But RUclips tells nothing about what upload schedule works best, so trial and error to find the sweet spot. Hoping they keep going, I will be here to watch whatever they post and try to support how I can. But, obviously don't go too far in the hole trying to please the RUclips overlords. Fine line to walk these days!!

I realize you are struggling but if you hit up like WTW's channel for his live posts there are groups that just chat and maybe once your done at the camp you can do like collabs with Halfmile or hell if your cabin happens to have a few acres you might get lucky enough to be able to mix in some wildlife video's and how you are doing your best to manage the land. And maybe you will be lucky enough to get some landowner tags that you can donate to veteran's or younger kids on make a wish that will help boost your channel and mess with the algorithms. Keep up the good work and I apologize for not playing attention to list and I'm a bit behind on my watching but I will catch up today

I'm one of those who apparently was Unsubscribed by someone and hadn't noticed, so I just re-subscribed (let's see if it happens again). I've got several BCA Uppers but the one I really want them to get back to producing is the 7mm-08 Remington complete uppers (or at least bring back 7mm-08 barrels).

Guys, don't be discouraged! You have a certain (and quite considerable) number of subscribers from Russia, including me. And at the same time from other Russian-speaking countries. But RUclips has removed monetization from us and is counting crookedly in the list of subscribers. You shoot good videos, for such a budget - few people can do a better job.
RUclips behaved very “specifically” with accounts from Russia, many were offended and have already left for other platforms. And I don’t know how quickly the account is deleted, maybe the “cancel deletion” option has just expired

I'm one of those who apparently was Unsubscribed by someone and hadn't noticed, so I just re-subscribed (let's see if it happens again). I've got several BCA Uppers but the one I really want them to get back to producing is the 7mm-08 Remington complete uppers (or at least bring back 7mm-08 barrels).

My wife and I have 2 Farsi YT channels - not on this account. I'm saying that I understand especially now that I didn't get a notif for the recent videos although the post notif is on! But RUclips has removed monetization from us and is counting crookedly in the list of subscribers.
You shoot good videos, for such a budget - few people can do a better job.
Do you think some of the Russians was blocked from using youtube.
Hard to say at this point. Since this video has been released (less than 2 hours ago) we have lost 20+ subs. LOL
This is truly some kind of paranormal thing. I would never have thought that this was possible after such a heartfelt video by O.O
RUclips behaved very “specifically” with accounts from Russia, many were offended and have already left for other platforms. And I don’t know how quickly the account is deleted, maybe the “cancel deletion” option has just expired
