If the Slaughterspine was Charged-up fully, it would have completely obliterated the Thunderjaw. Then again, the Disc Launchers are a Death Sentence.

SS has very poor A.I. Maybe the worst among all machines. And TJ has the best A.I. (or he on pair with Behemoth).
Slitherfang is probably the worst one and second worst is SS

There were different combinations - normal vs normal, normal vs apex, vice versa and apex vs apex. That's why there were different outcomes.
