Did you have to recode the radio? Reason I ask is I don't have the code for mine, as some of the papers are missing. Great vid though. Thanks.

Thanks. I didn't because there was an aftermarket stereo in this car. I'm not sure about the original one I'm afraid

This is fantastic, thank you. Will I need to use a 12v or 16v battery? I thought most cars took 12v but when I google Nissan Micra battery, lots of results say 16v... but some say 12!

Thank you, I'm fairly sure it needs a 12 volt battery. I've never heard of a 16v battery for a Micra

I have a 2006 Nissan Micra K12 1.2, changing the battery would be similar I assume ? though the cables connectors are different looking, and was wondering is there any danger of electrical glitches having disconnecting the power supply etc, such as radio ! or anything else that requires power ? Thanks, good video though.

Thank you. I haven't done any work on a k12 to be honest. It is possible you could lose the stored radio stations or possibly you might have to reenter a code on your stereo when you reconnect the battery. Also, the alarm might go off, if there is one
