Cable's Mutant powers are telekinesis and telepathy. However, due to the techno organic virus and comic shenanigans, he had to use those abilities to keep the virus at bay.
He also has cybernetic arm and eye given to him by forge. The eye can shoot lasers on common and the arm gives him durability and strength. The arm also has some other neat tricks.
Cable can do a lot of other things and has access to a ton of future tech
Monty does this mean that Spider-Man is Canon to X-Men and that there is a possibility of a Spider-Man 98 reboot

Professor X is the idealist, Magneto is the realist.
What We Hope For Vs What Is
Realism is not the counterpoint to idealism, cynicism is. The more accurate statement is that Charles is the Educator, Magneto is the Militant. Charles desire to improve the world by championing compassion and education are not unrealistic, they are in fact extremely effective and important avenues to do so. They are however long term practices that do not immediately address short term problems which is what Magneto's militancy aims to do. However Magneto's approach has the opposite issue of creating problems in the long term as ultimately there can never be a military solution to these kinds of problems, the only way to create long term lasting solutions is through societal change which is what Charles champions.
In a political lense, I see Xavier as a reformist and magneto as a revolutionary. Both are progressive in their own way but the methods of effecting change are just different. Different moments in history creat different circumstances the make either reformism or revolution more applicable or effective. In this particular point in the story, a swift, drastic action is what has been needed for a while, and is the best way to achieve any semblance of future safety and peace.

Bastion's mother actually appeared in the original series story "One Man's Worth". She was a waitress at a diner the college-aged Xavier would frequent. A time-travelling Bishop (with alternate timeline versions of Wolverine and Storm) fought a Nimrod near there.

I wonder how much they will go into the realistic ramifications of what Magneto just did. A world wide EMP would be catastrophic and kill, both directly and indirectly, an unimaginable number of completely innocent people and not just humans but mutants as well. Your talking about crippling the logistics of the world, destroying travel and communication, kneecapping emergency services, causing economic chaos. You could make an entire series just about the disastrous results of such an action and still barely scratch the surface of the damage that would cause. That's why Wolverine says Magneto just declared war on humanity as what he just did would realistically be more destructive than a nuclear attack on a major city.
I 100% believe that will be convered next episode. Magneto essentially destroyed Xavier’s dream of coexistence. It will be intense.
This was an epic start to this finale. NightCrawler was already one of my top 10 x-men series, but him always knowing what to saw and having bad ass teleportation powers just makes him better

From all the reactions I have seen so far, you are the only one who caught Polaris and Rachel Summers (Phoenix). Everyone was like flipping over Doom, Zemo, Spider-Man, but completely missed these two. Lol 🤦

When Roberto's mom says the x-men "aren't helping those poor souls in Genosha" and Jubilee said "we were trying to keep you people from coming after the professor again". What? When? Yes Magneto absolutely declared war. EMP affect all electronic systems. Not just the prime sentinels. TVs, refrigerators, machines in the hospitals, plane electronics, anything electronic in the world just got fried. So yes. He just declared war cause that also excluded a vast majority of nations defense systems.
I may have interpreted this wrong i believe they called the genocide on Genosa a fixed point, so gambit can’t come back through time travel, but he could still come back as Apocalypse horseman like in the comics and become an omega level mutant
Small changes can be made to fixed events. They can't stop the destruction of Genosa but it maybe possible to prevent one or two people from dieing during it. Though I doubt that will be the path they take.
You can really use the activation of these new sentinels as a metaphor for anything. Like, people you wouldn't expect to believe a certain thing or to support a certain thing or have a certain thing are around you when you don't expect it.

wolverine defeated the techno organic virus in the old xmen TAS series with his healing factor. Why couldnt they cure Cable instead of sending him into the future? lol
Beast said in that episode that it was a highly advanced version of the virus compared to the one before and he had no way to come up with an antidote in time to save him.
If the Avengers came in and helped save the day, it would take away from the main charecters of the show-- the Xmen.

It might help if you guys actually pay attention to what is happening on screen rather than constantly talking over every scene. Jean took control of the vehicle using her powers to steer the wheel while Scott was up and using his force beam to carve a passage out and Cable shoot at dudes.

I would much rather have people watch my videos who enjoy is for who were are. I am a passionate person and I do this because it excites me and this is my natural reaction.
You honestly make it seem like we talk over the whole thing, it’s very clear we cut out the dead air and our video was claimed 4 times before we could upload it. Watching us watch the episode on RUclips without editing out the silence would be impossible.

What I mean is, racism might be a commonplace occurrence for people in the west, but that doesn't hold true for the rest of the world. The X-Men comics has been around more than half a century. There are people all over the world who grew up reading them. And to be honest, for most of us who aren't living in the west and exposed to racism in the same way as you guys are, the stories, no matter how relevant they are to real-life events, are just superhero stories to us. Nothing more, nothing less.
I disagree. Racism is pervasive throughout the entire world. Yes, I agree with you that the specific stories the X-Men comics are more closely aligned with the stories and events that center around racism's history in the western world. However, having known several people from all over the world (mostly from college years decades ago and now in the workplace), their stories reveal that racism is alive and well on all continents. And much like here in the states, it's often minimized or thought of as a non-issue by the ones who it least affects.
