Can you please explain why 'mi' has 'A' before it but 'Yo' and 'Me' don't?
Mí is a prepositional pronoun. In other words, it's a pronoun we use after prepositions 'a mí, para mí, por mí', etc. 🤓 Yeah, Spanish pronouns are picky like that!
@@TellMeInSpanishEng what’s crazy to me about learning Spanish is that I’m learning more about English than I ever did growing up in the USA. Also I swear my reading level in English has increased exponentially from studying Spanish. I think spending a lot of time learning Spanish while living in the USA connected new neural pathways in my brain. I absolutely fly through English books now it’s pretty wild to be honest. Man it’s not easy learning another language when you aren’t in that native language country!

Hi, can you please explain why if 'yo' is the doer, we do not say 'Yo gasté mil euros.' but rather 'Me gasté mil euros.'? In spending money I am the one doing the action am I not?

A mi trabajo, quise decir "Push the paper toward me", "Empuja el papel hacia mí" pero no estuve seguro si debería usar "mí o yo".

I'm confused on number 4. Can you please explain why I should use "mi"?
'Mí' is always used after prepositions! 🙂 'A' is a preposition. This construction (a mí) is very common with verbs like 'gustar' to emphasize or clarify who likes something.

I heard using e visitado vs yo visitado - it was in a Spanish lesson and I don’t know the difference?

But why “me gustas tú” according from what you said I thought it was yo 😔
It's like saying you please me, not I like you. So tu is the direct object and me is the one being pleased.
When we express liking something in Spanish, we conjugate the verb based on the person or thing that is causing the feeling of liking. This might seem confusing because the word order is different from English. But check: "El chocolate me gusta / Me gusta el chocolate", "Las películas no me gustan"...The conjugation matches the subject...So, "tú corres"...."tú me gustas". The subject is not the person experiencing the feeling, but rather causing it.
