I'd say that the enhanced punching power and dual-arc upgrades are the two most important tools to have activated if you are going for a stealth ghost run.
Indeed, you need to be observant too. ps. I'd keep my eyes peeled for flickering ad signs after the explosion. walk close to it and it'll trigger another subquest, which is EXTREMELY informative.
I'm not sure that the sub-quests will go away if you go too far into the storyline. Head back to the first area of the game and look for a glitched out sign near the place where you had to talk to the guy selling the ids.
Cheng Teoh why wouldn't it go away? There is curfew in the third visit. The game also warns you to finish up your sub-quests before leaving after your second visit to prague.

How do you hire the cleaning service? Is it when you're inside that guy's apartment (with the secret room and whatnot) and you can order it using IM from his computer? How long does that take
On the House AI, go to Environments and then Hire Cleaners. It shouldn't take too long, just do a quick mission or take the train to any location and then hop back on the train and head to the house.

If you are talking about the room where these is a camera - just touch it and it'll activate the panel so that you'll be able to hack into it to get the picus keycard. I hope that's what you are talking about.
You have to sneak into thug apartment at starting apartment. You can get through their apartment via air vent on wall locate beside merchants at staircase and after that hack their computer. Goodluck
There are several ways to start this mission. For me personally, the quest started in the small courtyard just northeast of Adam Jensen's apartment complex. In this shady area you can hear some bums talking about a drug called Neon, and if you move further up you can see a dealer named Bonbon turning away an aug who was looking for Neuropozyne. The stash is located behind her in a restricted area patrolled by a bodyguard. Go to the safe and pick up the pocket secretary - that should be the beginning. You could also just go to Zelen Apartment 22, there's a Pocket Secretary on a small table outside the kitchen that has the passcode for the laptop in the kitchen, which could possibly start the mission with your first real task - find out who is distributing the drug.

Yes, I realize now that using guns is also a viable option to getting into locked doors. Although if you were going for a ghost run it could be problematic to use it.
I was doing that quest on my first playthrough, didn't bother about the ghost play and any achievements that require special walkthrough style. Now that i will be completing the game on the hardest difficulty, it would be a struggle for me without this video:)
Ghost play is absolutely fun, makes one think of multiple ways of approaching a situation. I'm still playing it on my first playthrough and so far I've not had any alerts triggered. Typically one would come across a grenade while looting since from what I can remember there isn't any store that sells them.
Hey, I accessed the computer and tried opening the apartment's wall panels but couldn't notice anything. Do you have any idea where they are?
It's very easily missed since the panel is pretty small. It should be next to the fireplace which is by the stairs.
