Every time you play a Jazzmaster I understand why it is your weapon of choice.
WOW, I am so amazed right now. This used to be my guitar. haha. never thought that would happen. I used it many years on stage. It traveled a long way to america that's crazy. I live in Holland
Wow 🤯🤯🤯🤯
how did you know its yours?
The wear on it. Played it for a couple of years.
Lemmo is legitimately one of my favourite guitarists. I'm not really one of those guys that has guitar heros. I just enjoy playing and writing music. But Lemmo never fails to make me feel something whenever he's got an offset in his hands. Big love dude
Lemmo+Jazzmaster= Me clicking very quickly.
In all seriousness though, man I hope when you said you were unhappy, it was mostly in jest. If not, please don't hesitate to talk to someone. I lost another high school friend to suicide yesterday. That makes two in three weeks. Tough times right now, man. I just want you to know you're appreciated and I look forward to watching you play every day. Keep it up, man.
Far out man Lemmo tasting real world
And as a snowflake He cant handle it
Bruh go away
Wow, you clicked quickly, bet your fun at parties....
@@amritjanardhanan Amen!
Man... hope ur doing well! Keep your head up it will get better with time
The jazzmaster is definitely Lemmo's muse. He's so comfortable doing his thing with jazzmasters. Speaking of "doing his thing," sometimes it's hard to know which of his hands is doing more amazing things with that hybrid picking style. Really cool stuff! That guitar was cool, but I think this episode was really all about Lemmo!
Yep - I've never seen someone doing two different things with each hand at the same time as when he was doing the tapping - Lemmo is one genius guitar monger alright 👍
He's easily the first guitar player I've ever had to choose which hand was more fun to watch! 😂
Geez, Lemmo is a great guitarist, he shows off what each guitar is capable of...what an awesome talent
this guy's attention to nuance in his playing from day to day is totally insane -- you are truly one of the most stylish guitarists in the world, lemmo!
Sherwood green, yummy! Reminds me of Johnny Marr’s Jaguar in the same color. The souls of Lemmo and his Jazzmasters are intertwined, he communicates with them through his fingers. As others have noted an exquisite sense of rhythm.
Is it weird to say I prefer this version of Ready For It over the studio version? The level of nuance and finesse and control Lemmo has in both his hands is incredible and inspirational!

Squier? No?
I've seen Squire on here before so that's not right bro
@@pabloyt39daniel64 no, no Squiers have been done.
@@mrtambourineman6107 the only Squiers that have been on Norm's Rare Guitars have been on Lemmo Demmo. This list you see is exclusively Guitar Of The Day videos, post - Agnesi.
Every GOTD is soo good. But you know is gonna be extra super awesome when it’s Lemmo and a Jazzmaster.
I’ve got a ‘99 Jaguar from the same series in the same color! My favorite guitar of all time!
Lemmo! Can we get a show that's something like "pedal of the week" or something? I think that would be something people would like to see. Plus, you can steal this idea to give to Norm and get a raise
Beautiful guitar and finish. One of the greatest pleasures in life is listening to Michael Lemmo play a Jazzmaster 🎸
You can just tell a Jazzmaster is home for Lemmo. Such fluid, natural playing.
Just something about the JazzMaster. You expect it to be different. I'm sold. And have been since I was 14. (1964). Thanks for showing off. We expect that too.
What was the first thing lemmo played? Heartachingly beautiful
It's his song "Ready for it", there's a video of it in here ;)
Lemmo is one of the best guitar players iv'e seen on you tube. Love the original songs best.
theres nothing better in the world as lemmo with a jazzmaster
hands down my favorite color from fender
I hope Norm pays you good Lemmo, Because every time you are in a video I watch it automatically.
If you do ever feel down just know you make all of us happy lemmo
the best thing that could happen for norman's rare guitars is having Lemmo demoing all this beautiful guitars,a unique player that knows how to make the most of every instruments that he plays
I’ve watched/listened to this about 10 times. Beautiful!
One of the best in a while - stunning colour and beautiful clean tone.
Lemmo, you inspire me every day. You're the reason I want a Jazzmaster!
whoa this things a beauty and sounds insane. the contrast of low end to high brittle chime... sonic beauty.
Lemmo’s weapon of choice! Always seems to step it up a notch or two!
👍🇦🇺
Lemmo sure can play! Very unique style. love it
That Sherwood Green looks just like the Caribbean Mist on my Strat Plus.
Nice, an Ozzy T-Shirt, a Jazzmasters Guitar and a Good ol Sothern song . Perfect... and you Are a Great Player...
That is literally the coolest guitar I've ever seen. What a dream.
When you said Sherwood green I was waiting for Robin Hood to appear🤑🤔🎸 great 👍🏻 playing , I can hear the love you have for the jazz master ☮️❤️🖖
That was awesome brother . You actually have me looking at Jazz masters . That thing sounds amazing
Great stuff Lemmo! The Jazzmasters sure bring out the best in you👍👏
Mr. Lemmo plays it off the charts again, what a talent. Quite amazing
Wow that is gorgeous Lemmo ! Sounds great in your hands as ALWAYS ! Thanks Jen ! 😎🎸🎶🤘
This is my dream guitar.
Never been too big into jazzmasters, always felt weird in my hands, but wow this one sounds incredible.
One of my favourite guitars! Always love a Jazzmaster! However! Gotta do a Maton!
The Jazzmaster is my all time favorite, its cool to see one from my birth year on this channel too
Wow! I here so many people playing lots of notes and I just don't find it musical. That had skill and narrative, that was awesome mate.
I will travel one day to NRG to buy a guitar and hopefully meet Mr.Lemmo!! You’re really inspiring!😎
I hope this guy plays in at least one band, what a great player, would love to see him play live
Looks like someone really missed the Jazzmaster and bring it back 🤣🤣🤣
Btw, I like that 😄
I have a 62 AVRI in ice blue metallic identical to Jesse Laceys from Brand New. Absolutely amazing guitar, but my only complaint would be the location of the trussrod. After about a year and a half of adjustments (turns out all it needed was a fret level), it’s the most stable and consistent guitar in my arsenal. Such a joy to play.
Interesting to note that on the original Fender custom color charts from the 1960s, your color was called Blue Ice Metallic. Nowadays, it might be called Ice Blue Metallic like you said. There's another original color name from the 1960s that has morphed, Foam Green, into Seafoam Green. Not sure where the Seafoam part came from, but everyone says that nowadays, even when referring to the old originals. Just a bit of friendly Fender geekery.
Cool performance and guitar. Hope you have a good day. Thanks for sharing.
He’s a great player. A young feller but the musical soul of an old feller. Plays appropriate to the guitar if you know what I mean.
Looks like this one is already gone. Love the sherwood green finish. As always, Lemmo's playing is fantastic 😊
Well nothing is a given. This pandemic has paused everyone and a lot of folks are struggling whether it’s mental, loss of income, lost opportunity, we all struggle. Hope you are healthy which is most important. I come for the music and wonderful things Michael can push out of these amazing guitars.
Thank you for playing it clean so we can hear what JMaster actually sounds like.I just bought a new Squire version love it!
Green is my favorite color
The tone is exquisite as expected from a jazzmaster. I wish the necks were wider. I hate having E's on the neck edge.
Michael Played that Jassmaster like an Acoustic Guitar on that 1st Song , Excellente , Entertaining . . .
Great player, Nice t-shirt... Hello from France 🇫🇷
Dudes absolutely shredding it
The green finish and white plastics remind me of my high school colors... though their green wasn’t metallic. (It would have been so much cooler if it was.)
I’m more a Jaguar guy, though I did mod a Squire “blacktop” Jazzmaster into a baritone with a P-rail in the bridge and a coil selector pickup ring (kind of works like Fender Mustang’s switches, bridge out of phase with the Jazzmaster pickup sounds great).
Michael Lemmo...just learned about you today and that is a good thing! Dig your playing man!
That last tune just made me so happy :^)
Sick tunes
Those were my favorite ozzy songs. keep up the good picking
Do you know what song starts at 6:41 ? Is that an Ozzy song?
I have the AVRI '62 ( a 2007) in sunburst.I worked on a couple of early '60s Jazzmasters when they were new,and the AVRI's are as close as makes no difference. That Sherwood Green is a good'un and somebody should jump on it!
'Drive all night' is such a beautiful song bro
Brilliant
Loved the sound, real chillzzzzz
i just got an olympic white jazzmaster (vintera), such a beautiful guitar. sad to see lemmo have to let this one go, it matches him so well.....
I'm thinking of jumping on the vintera mod jazzmaster. Know they're slightly different than the standard, but overall, what you thinking of it? The thing making me most nervous is the fretboard, I've only really played Rosewood boards
Dtyler5603 I got lucky with my neck, it’s dark to the point where it looks like rosewood. Showed it to my dad and he thought it was rosewood. Playability, I’ve tried the limited edition rosewood Jazzmaster Fender had last year, and I feel like the Pau is a bit smoother and I feel a little quicker on it... tone wise I can’t really say cause they’re not the same pickups/specs.... both nice and have that “warmth.” Here’s mine: imgur.com/gallery/mmYqQ2c
@@joshisfishy looks purty! I'm lookin at the surf green, and judging by what you've said, I think I might be sold! I've been looking for a faster feeling neck, so sounds like it'll hit the spot. Thanks a ton mate
I just love the sounds of Jazzy :-)
Wow! Awesome guitar playing and sound too! 😄
Love those old lemmo tunes!
Beautiful playing.
Beautiful! Your music is Sonic Youthey enough anyway lol, great playing!
Jesus, that's some guitar playing!
Wow what a guitarist
I want to know what replaced it? We love your tunes. It’s great that sweethearts still exist. I’ve got a feeling the first was inspired by ‘In Rainbows’.
Stellar playing as usual!
Great playing..thank you....
Beautiful sound!
What a great player!
Oooo jazzmaster!!
I think Jen and Lemmo would make an awesome couple ... their chemistry is amazing ...
great playing very unique
I love your playing!
Nice guitar smooth relaxing style !!!!
I luv the color , not much of a jazzmaster guy myself , and I think Lemmo is much better on a LP or a strat or 335 , BUT THAT'S JUST ME . this has a nice tone , mellow and chimey , and obviously Lemmo luvs them , a great guitarist , on his guitar , go Dog. thanks guys
Really a great guitarist !!!!
Came for the Jazzmaster - Stayed for the playing! What tuning is that, and do you have your own channel for lessons? (6:30)
Figured out the tuning, 'cause I wanted to know as well -> DGDGGD
Yea that guitar is amazing.. but so is that shirt!! Awesome lemmo thanks for the tunes
WoW
Didn't say which amp.
Great tone & decay.
TY & GL
Thought I recognised the guitar. Love your vids playing this one.
I have had this model. Back in the day Fender only had one expensive series of Jazzmasters. It came in three colours. If you wanted one, thas was it. No Squier, no Mexican, no nothing.
anyone know the song at 08:43?
Love the shirt Lemmo!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏾
Nice. Sounded beautifully “choral”.
I love jazz masters 🇧🇷
Lemmo could do a recording of GOTD and it would sell. Thank you for the free version. This was amazing. Thank you!!
Ouahhhhhh. 🤩🤩🤩🎸🎸
Brilliant ❤
Would like to know if that first song is an actual song and where the tabs are for it
what’s that first song again? i know it’s one of Michael’s songs!
I think it's a song called Through the Night ruclips.net/video/D88CFqknm-c/видео.html
One of the best GOTD’s yet
