Quick Tip: How To Change The Default Font In Illustrator

I have mixed feelings about InDesign's way of setting defaults. Everything you click on with nothing selected, becomes the next default. That can be practical and a nuisance at the same time and can be as irritating to new users as Illustrator's way of doing things.

that is wonderful. I already new that one, but great practice to redo with the new, latest Illustrator Version. Any chance to permanently change the default Layer colour too? I did change it in the default document but when opening the new template, it still shows the default light blue colour as the assigned layer colour. Since 95% of my work is centred around a blue design world, red would just be better. Thank you so much for all the great Illustrator Info!!!!

Thank you Wolf. There is no possibility to permanently change the Layer color in the New document profile. That only works in a template. And there are scripts and actions, e.g. discussed in this thread in the Community forums: community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/script-to-create-layer-and-already-set-the-color/td-p/12849833

It will probably depend on the browser you use. It won't work in Safari on the iPad. But you could use the iPad version on the iPad.

@@Vektorgarten I made a drawing and then made new drawings on this drawing. But it didn't save my last changes. How can I revert these changes?

Sorry, I think I misunderstood the topic of your question. On the iPad you are saving Cloud files. So what you could is whether you can go back through the stages of the Cloud file. Maybe access your Cloud files on the web via a browser? Assets.adobe.com and then click on "Timeline" to the right. But the Cloud only saves for a limited number of days unless you mark that version.
