    Thank goodness someone is finally making a video on how to rebuild this transfer case! I looked everywhere online and couldn’t find one that actually showed how to do it and as a result broke one of my case halves! Now I had to pay for a whole new complete case. Thanks for making such good vids!

      That stinks, but hopefully we can help the Suzuki Samurai community out with these videos.

      @ELKMotorsports  6 лет назад

      You know I made 2 hats. A pink/grey with pink logo, and a black flex fit with pink logo. There is a red/grey Richardson snap back I really like too. Think it would have a red logo on it. I think hats are a definite. I just wasn't sure if anyone would have been interested in them with the channel so young. I just got enough footage to make an intro. Or actual footage I like for an intro that is.

      Absolutely on the products, I've got a ton of ideas. The growth of the channel is still surprising me, and the transfer case video is doing really well. And I've still got 4 more videos on the subject.

    Just looking for a little advice. I have a 1991 Suzuki. It is a daily driver with 30 inchstall all-terrain tires. I'm a little bit too high geared, just wonder which transfer case reduction kit. Would you advise today's Tuesday? To do? To still be able to drive it on the highway as a daily driver? As to not get it too low, geared and turn too many. RP m's. I will never have more than a probably. A 31 install tire on it. What do you think the gear reduction should be in my transfer case?

    • @ELKMotorsports
      @ELKMotorsports  4 года назад

      Hendra Wahyudi , hey bud. You are interested in the cradle for your SJ410 T-case? From my understanding if you have a SJ410 transfer case that IS 4X4 they are relatively similar on the outside to the SJ413's transfer case. So I believe ( disclaimer that I have never done this myself, so take it for what it's worth) that the ZOR cradle will work. Some modifications may need to be done. But good news is that if you contact Myron at Zuks Offroad, he can better answer this for you. Hell he may even be able to make something that will. He's a great guy.

    Hey trey. I have water in my transfer case. What should I do

    • @ELKMotorsports
      @ELKMotorsports  4 года назад +1

      What you SHOULD DO, is take it all apart, clean the hell out of everything, inspect all your bearings and seals, and replace anything that is bad, or do a complete rebuild. What you COULD DO is drain the oil, and replace with a mixture of water and detergent/degreaser (like purple power) and, w/o running the truck, flush the case a few times, letting the mixture set inside the T-case to break up any chunks, and then put fresh oil in the T-case, run it a little bit. And I mean a little bit, like 5-10 mins drain inspect the oil, and repeat( increasing the duration that the oil is run in the T-case each time) until you have nice clean oil coming out. The flushing process, depending on how much gunk is in the T-case, could cost more than a rebuild, and you won't know the state of the bearings inside. But the choice is yours sir.

    Doesn't it give you the feeling that the samurai is the 4x4 most hated by users of the jeep, touotS, Ford, etc etc, ???

    • @ELKMotorsports
      @ELKMotorsports  4 года назад +1

      Eh, most ppl who really enjoy offloading or unique vehicles actually really like the samurai. I personally haven't run into anyone who just down right hate them. Now ball busting, absolutely, but I like to ball bust jeep guys too.

      ELK Motorsports Yes, I know that it is a recreational use car and for my love of mechanics, but for everyday use, I use others, I mean the users of off road exits who spend a fortune, they see how the little Suzuki passes them above !!
