Genuine question for Mr. Sausage: do you ever worry that you’ll make a meme-sausage out of ridiculous/expensive materials that ends up being so good that you develop a full-on NEED to make it for yourself regularly? Is that a Pandora’s Box that you live in perpetual fear of opening?
It also would've helped with grinding if he'd frozen the marrow after scooping it out. Texture might've come out better at the least. Overall, this was truly horrifying for marrow lovers.
It would have just tasted like a regular sausage with marrow then I mean maybe it would cause the score to be a point higher with taste but the big point that it's not worth the effort would still stand. At that point just don't use marrow and make a regular old ordinary sausage with pork and seasoning.

I think for some sort of milestone video you could do a 5/5 Sausage, where you combine EVERY sausage that ever got a 5/5 into one abomination of a ground sausage mix and make a sausage out of it, that would be truly magnificent. Would it be the greatest sausage ever? Or the worst?

When I woke up this morning, I didn't think "ramen guy in a sexy maid outfit" would be among the things I'd see today. I'd've been more surprised by the bone marrow sausage, except I've been watching Mr. Sausage for so long.
Bone marrow is awesome. Spread it on some crusty bread with a vinegary parsley salad on top, amazing. That's what you're missing. The parsley salad.Tgey would have been great in the smoker too.
That isn't the bone marrow flavoring it though, that's the vinegar parsley aspect mostly. What you've described is just a very expensive sandwich oil. 😆
@@DuploBone Bone marrow is best as the fat for a soup stock, or just eaten straight with sides, we had it semi regularly in my household. Mighta been a poverty thing though LOL, bones mash and corn were a cheap dinner.
I had such high hopes for the will it blow. Expected the majority fat and grease filling to just slide out with good splatter and just enough integrity to get a good impact. Truly a devastating blow to my dreams and ego.

He knows his audience better, and he also knows the game better now. Yeah that's right, it's been YEARS. Years since you guys started watching, years since I started watching, and years since this channel has steadily grown in popularity. Seriously the covid scare fucked us all up in one way or another; it's been just about 3 years since we originally started hearing about the coronavirus-19 (2019), and yet it's felt like 10 months.
I really want a series of Mr. sausage going back through old episode ideas and rather than meme-ing on them (which I have no problem with, mind you) trying to improve them. I really think many of the episodes where he goofed around with the intention of a silly, gross sausage could yield a quality, and creative sausage when taken seriously. I cook for a living and while I'm not a Chef there are many episode where I just sit and thing, "agh, if he just did such and such that could be sooo good!!"
i can see bone marrow being nice additive to sausage if used in smaller quantity or made in bigger batch and actually seasoned after baking. and given the fattening amount of fat, maybe even smoked could prove to be really delicious.
Even before watching, I think this sausage has a lot of potential. Know what would have even MORE potential, though? A One Week by Barenaked Ladies Sausage: wasabi, sushi, vanilla milkshake, Swiss Chalet dipping sauce, chicken from a Chinese restaurant, and Snickers. It's the finest of the flavors.
