I modified my duster like this... suspensions raised 5 cm... lsd with 80% locking... new front rear, 140 hp..... and it doesn't need anything anymore. it's impressive 😁😁👍👍
@@xpd44.outfitters along with the central differential, the 2 LSD front and rear differentials improve grip when a wheel is suspended, none of the wheels on the ground spin for nothing.
@@xpd44.outfitters and the power is no longer so great that you risk forcing and breaking the planetary gears in turns due to the 20% tolerance when turning the wheels, allowing balanced turns.

@@xpd44.outfitters the central locking differential remained the one from the factory, thanks to the fact that I have these lsds that stop the exaggerated slippage of the wheels, the traction computer no longer enters the breakdown mode and behaves perfectly... now let's clearly understand that it is not an extreme off-road car... but it has extraordinary qualities in this configuration

You guys are making great videos! The upgrades you've made yourselves to Duster are amazing! By the way I own the new Duster 2023 4x4 journey plus version and it does now come with the engine/gearbox protector included on this version I am not sure about the other versions.
As a Duster fan, I lov the work you made, it's almost exactly what I would do if mine was offroad dedicated. And YES the roof bars are shit to mount anything on it ! If you commercialise your roofrack I'm definitely getting one !
Hey Tommaso, the bars are completely modular you can bolt on all kinds of accessories and slide them into place wherever you want. We will release a dedicated video soon. Anyways the roofrack is intended to be very streamline so you can barely fit a hand underneath. If your rooftop tent uses U bolts however those screw from the top so no problem what so ever!

We did not. Only after a 50mm lift you start feeling the effects of increased cv angles like vibrations etc. It drives like it has always with our 30mm lift by 4x4proyect. Highly recommend this suspension set! Go check them out
Great stuff, loving the mods. What about a bug guard on the hood? Also a minor thing, turn the volume down on the background music. it was quite loud for the video. Could still hear you guys ok though!
@@xpd44.outfitters and what about WindDeflectors on the door windows? I did a swapout of the head unit to an android one so that I could get Android auto on it. Was an easy job to do as any 8inch screen type has the right mounting ports to install it straight away.
Handles great! This is my daily driver and I have absolutely no complaints. The heavier steering you only notice when transitioning from another car straight away, we are talking “slightly heavier” not like it doesn’t have power steering ahaha Cheers!
Did you have to lower the engine when using the suspension lift kit? One of the Romanian channels seems to think that the CV angle MUST be aligned correctly to avoid vibration through the driveline.

@@philliphennig3060 should be ready by January! Depends on price of materials as they are constantly rising because of the war. As far as compatibility we are building this for the phase 1 or 2017 and before but will then make it available for the new version as well!

hola tengo el duster 1.5d de 115cv y 4x4 del 2022 y no me esperaba tan buena impresion.pense en primer lugar por la POTENCIA solo 115cv pero como son las marchas mas bien cortas como una menos de un coche normal pues acelera basntante bien para adelantar y la primera parece una reductora pues tiene mucha fuerza y vas muy lento en zonas muy complicadas sin gastar embrague y encima apenas se cala al salir.la traccion 4x4 es imprescindible si sueles ir mucho al monte pues en 2x2 en nada se queda encallado sea subida graba nieve o barro..el CONSUMO es casi lo que mas me ha guastado de este coche pues aun en rodaje me hace 1000km con un deposito llendo a 70-80kmh en quinta pues hay que hacer el rodaje a 2000 o algo mas de vueltas y tambien hago algo de caminos incluido en ese consumo y creo que podra hacerse 1100 o 1200km a igual velocidad y trayecto llendo en 6 marcha tras el rodaje.la COMODIDAD es buenisima pues apenas se notan los baches por suspension y asientos blandos con direccion y embrague super suaves con muy buena estabilidad en curvas.las COTAS OFF ROAD son muy buenas con 21cm de altura,40cm vadeo y mas de 30cm de ataque y salida con paragolpes redondeados para no dar.la INSTRUMENTACION es bastante buena ya que es el tope llamado prestige.por ultimo el DISEÑO esta muy bien acertado en esta ultima version y este color atacama le da muchisimo encanto pues en blanco se ve mucho mas espartano.los CONTRAS: 1-si lo paras a los 3 minutos no puedes abrir o cerrar ventanillas sin arrancar el motor 2-pitido muy fuerte por el cinturon y demas cosas 3-navegador siempre encendida la pantalla,yo lo enciendo y lo pongo en modo noche 4-tarjeta demasiado grande para el bolsillo y se abre el coche cuando pasas a su lado y cuando abres o cierrras puertas se encienden unos segundos la luz de posicion y eso molesta si estas denoche y quieres pasar desapercibido 5-incomodisimo que solo el conductor tenga elevalunas de 1 toque 6-molesto al acelerar y soltar acelerador el pomo de marchas se mueve alantet y atras

First my friend, low the music. We can't hear what you said (especially the not good English speakers) and trying, created a head pain. I came hear searching, because i want to remove the rail racks to fit my rooftent, awing, water system and many more stuff. You make a great job but with a flaw in my case, that's not have space to put the hand under to screwy the roof tent. Probably i made me the BEST overlanding duster :p
Unfortunately, this is not an optimal setup. Very little research done for a Duster size and weight. Let us give you an example, those tires are actually not recommended on a Duster due to their poor and dangerous wet asphalt emergency performance.... and so on
As far as the weight this Duster is sitting at a little over 2000kg with 4 adults and all the gear so the tires perform great in that aspect. We also have them on another vehicle (Jeep Wrangler) and they are great on and off road. Never had any problem on wet asphalt. When it comes to wet asphalt emergency braking no tire is great otherwise there wouldn't be so many accidents so we as of now this is the best tire for us and our setup. Regardless everyone has their experience and opinions and they are all welcome here! Thank you for your input but these tires work great for us
Forget the cosmetics!!! You badly need a rear axle locker! And a front axle Torsen differential f!!! And lastly, chip-tune the engine for extra torque!!!
Poor tyre choice with BFG Ko2 for Dacia Duster... even dangerous on wet and cold roads! There are way better AT tyres tested by Duster enthusiasts myself included. Overall great project!

It depends on how much lift you had. For this kit its not necessary, for higher lifts yes it is advisable
You will always get vibrations even with the engine lowering

Still figuring out the final cost of production but under 650eur.
We have loaded ours with around 100kg while driving highway and offroad and about 200kg stationary no problem.
