The zach myers will be after that plus a couple others. Cant beat them. Nothing ive played compares to them. Still love my schecters though. Solo2 is my favorite.

It does annoy me when people say Tremonti plays Drop D and only talk about Creed. His guitar tone has changed quite a bit from Creed. Creed split nearly 20 years ago, and he has 2 killer bands and seldom plays in Drop D on anything he's written the last 12 years. The man has loads of guitars on tour because he plays in so many different tunings. It just feels like a lazy way to clear stock talking about Creed. It's why the guitar is a good one to be played in standard and lower alternate tunings. Mine are in C# standard and drop B / C#. Best guitars i've ever played.
I bought a custom couple of years ago guitar, great neck and tone no hesitation in recommending them! I then sold my Gibson Les Classic as it wouldn’t stay in tune and had enough left over to buy an Epiphone 59 limited edition another excellent guitar.
I got one of marks signature prs at my local GC last month and it took them 6 weeks to find my case for it...par for the course for GC..IM BETTING there all end up dollar general super stores any time now..😮
+ the literal thousands worth of pedals no guitar will sound bad unless it’s completely broken. But hopefully they’d mention how the guitars feel - more important ultimately!
PRS inflation is real, these were around £350-£400 when I bought my Singlecut SE! Great guitars though, have a core Special now and still use the SE often
It's not PRS- it's everything man, even eggs have gone through the roof. PRS just fell in line and raised their prices as well- whether or not that was warranted, I have no idea but- they're certainly not alone.
My Epi Les Paul standard is sick- anyone know a good doctor? She's over 10 years old- probably close to 20 years tbh. And it's started sounding exceptionally dark, one of the screw-in posts in the neck pickup has stripped out, and the volume for the neck seems to have an issue- and possibly the three-way switch as well. It needs new pups, pots, and a new switch- new guts in other words. And for the bridge to be sorted out, I don't think it's broken it just needs adjusted. 17 years ago, this was the best Les Paul Epi made- highly figured maple top, cherry burst finish, ebony fingerboard- she's been a helluva guitar.
In all seriousness I don't know why they can't use the two-point trim system instead of the 6-point I mean come on Jackson can do it cheap guitars and then it can't cost anymore I mean it's a prs that's the only thing I see that they're doing wrong if you don't use the tremolo system Dennis just fine

Any SE will last you a lifetime and knock yer socks off I own three of them and the early model Soapbar 2 is easily my most resonant guitar (even compared to expensive USA stuff)
The electronics are a bit different in the SE than the top of the line. They are specked the same but the are sourced over seas, the recess for the knobd and back plates. That is the only difference I can see in these reviews. I could care less about the recess and I'm sure it would cost you more than 500 to have electronics swapped out and a bit cheaper if you do it your self.
That’s two PRS videos where I guess Pete doesn’t really like em too much ? Just got a 245 and it’s a nice guitar , brighter than a Les Paul , more SG like tone wise … maybe 🤣
Someone should snap up that charcoal burst. Exceptional value for money, I'd buy it if I didn't already have a blue one. Everything about the guitar is top notch execpt the price 😎.
Fender is so overpriced, my Se Standard is a better guitar than either of my Fender MIM, i got the SE standard on blowout for 399 years ago and it still blows my mind how great a guitar it is!

@@Lakenbeer in a good way for sure. It’s pretty stellar, and then you consider the price and it’s almost untouchable. It has a trem, and the tuning stability is unreal. The build quality, the feel. I’ve got at least a half dozen guitars that were at least 4x the cost and this right there with them.
also no binding on the custom. however, it's not just the veneer, the standard has an all mahogany body while the custom does have a thick maple cap, it's just that they cover that cap with the poorly matched veneer. that's the only thing that annoys me, why use a veneer if you don't match it properly? at this point, just drop the veneer completely, do a sunburst and be done with it.
the discounted prices fall right where they were back in 2017-2018. since, restrictions on rosewood were introduced, inflation soared globally, taxes increased, for UK peeps, BREXIT happened. even the 550 was a very competitive price for the standard, given the features, quality of components and craftsmanship. 450 is a steal. luckily, I already have mine since 2018, paid about 440 EUR for it back then, and this was the discounted price at that time.
DP is trying super hard to find something good to say about it. I have a core and se…. The se pickups are garbage compared to the core. The body feels nothing like the core. Hopefully prs puts a bit more effort into the refresh this year
My SE was a piece of crap, which I quickly sold; the pickup selector was defective from the start, and the pots were very scratchy and noisy. I see the dude who bought it regularly and despite having the selector seen to, it still doesn't work properly from time to time. Try before you buy; there was no QC done on the one I bought, that's for sure. I contacted PRS but didn't get a reply. I bought a MIM Tele a few months after buying that pos, and it played perfectly and stays in tune; I forgot to mention the tuning problems with the SE. Won't be buying another PRS.

I like PRS but hands down the worst thing about them is that they make a creed signature guitar and amp, and that Paul actually bragged about going on stage with them. Christian rock is lowest form of music and no company should endores or sponsor it in any capacity. Probably why it's on sale, cause songs about jesus and the electric guitar should never go together.
I have that there Tremonti SE Custom in that gorgeous charcoal burst finish. It’s amazing. Absolutely love it.

Work Horse single cut in that price range. Tasteful cosmetics. Comfy neck & body. Strong contender in a crowded field.

Alter Bridge never played in drop d since the last 10 years they play mostly in drop C#

Part of it is that Fender is really pushing the MIM builds as far as they can go.
