It’s been confirmed that Lucas tells John Paul about the fact that dillion has feelings for him and the great thing is Carter is not around when he says it.
While I understand the psychology behind a queer teen struggling to come out despite being surrounded by acceptance, I think I liked the version they did with Harry better. It wasn’t just being gay for Harry, it’s that his realization came with the attraction to his father’s long time friend who was a decade older and came with a lot of baggage. Dillon has none of the issues Ste had. This shouldn’t be taking this many months to resolve.
