I understand her but I don't feel bad about Maxine because John Paul tried to warn her from the start while trying not to out Carter. She said she was a grown woman and it was just fun but ended up in a relationship with him and that's on her.

I’m glad that they’re having a conversation what conversion therapy really is. It’s not a simple as people think it is. It’s psychological grooming to get these men to hate themselves. Also Maxine this is about the children and the man Carter tried to convert, not you.

Oh my OA I know a lot of these People are blaming Hannah, John Paul and Nancy and mostly John Paul but the main Person who should be blamed for all of this is Declan he’s the one who got Carter into this in the first place when he was a Teenager. I’m not excusing what he did to Hannah, John Paul, Lucas, Maxine and even Ro it was indeed all wrong and disrespectful of what he did and yes kidnapping a 16 Year old is even worse but he was still a victim of this from when he was a Teenager now that he’s been arrested and put behind bars I’m sure there’s a possibility he can get help and if Declan even tries to get him reconnected I hope he’ll turn him down. It was so sweet seeing Diane finally calling Ro her Son and respecting his pronouns finally I’m hoping this will continue on with the respect and pronoun supporting with them but I have no doubts he’s gonna get bullied for this though and if he does I hope Diane will stick up for him. 😢

John Paul, isn't without responsibility. He knew well, what Carter was about. Immediately he should have informed others. About his, snake oil conversion therapy. But, john paul said and did nothing. The tragic events that took place. Could have been averted.
Hannah too and Kitty saw Carter associating with Declan and is judging JP.

They have covered this well in exploring grooming and not just sexual expoitation grooming but grooming in other ways.
