    Well done! I enjoyed this narrative. Reminds me of home in East Texas. Similar..50’s -60’s.

    I have met Stoney he is bigger than life great man treated me like a brother. Stoney is one of the nicest man you will ever meet . I hope to get a chance to visit him again .

    I have listened to a lot of podcasts. This story has moved me to the core. I know the man did wrong but no one is perfect. I'm a 51 year old man who doesn't cry much. When I heard this man cry over his father, it brought me to crocodile tears!!

    Grew up on “Jackson Trail” between Winder and Jefferson in the early 70’s. This podcast is very interesting.

    If i was a big deal Hollywood producer i would go all in on a movie with big names and solid director a make one hell of a movie-- smokey thebandit meets the Godfather with a southern rock soundtrack & i would film it in Georgia!

    Listening to this podcast i remember Stoney as a man i worked for and his uncle Jimmy and in construction as a operator in local 926 both treated me better than anyone i ever worked for i wound like to see them both again
