The tips are really useful and your community is very nice indeed because you took care of it. That's why I am super inspired by your videos, they make me want to pay more attention to my community rather than numbers, even though it's nice seeing my account grow.
Once again, thanks for all the awesome advice and information you've given in this video. Thanks for being my artist friend and including me in your video too! Honestly, when i started out, having a follower was so pushed into me that i felt really fed up. With increasing changes, and a breaking point, i came back to myself and my art and changed my mindset and perspective. Soon after i automatically attract followers rather than force them, and worry way less along with taking breaks. Engaging with the community by far has been number one tip for me, because you get back the love you give 🥰✨
The thing I keep hearing about is consistency, like you posting 5 times a week! I think that's the best advice, because it will also help you improve on top of making your account grow better!
this is the most genuine approach to growth that I've seen - it's encouraging as I often feel like I need to follow trends etc, but I much more like the idea of being a good human and providing value to others :)
I’ve been taking a break from Instagram for a few months now and I’ve been debating returning to it so this video is super helpful. I really do miss the community aspect of it. I really like your advice about finding your own metrics of success for it instead of numbers, that is great advice. Thanks for the helpful videos as always! 💕
Understanding your personal reasons for wanting to grow your art account is so crucial. It keeps you focused and motivated. Boost App Social has been my go-to app for creating valuable and regular content. It helps me find a balance and stay consistent.
@@itsnancyking It offers unique reels, story templates, and AI writing tools that generate compelling captions and descriptions. It saves me time and ensures that I can consistently post high-quality content that resonates with my audience. It's been a game-changer for my art account!
Congrats on 100k! You deserve it! And I hope you will also reach 100k here! Your videos are so inspiring to me! And even though I am still only 11 years old ,I hope I can be like you someday, just know that you have inspired me, and many more people!
Thank you for sharing your tips, and congrats on 100k! I like the emphasis on building relationships with people rather than overly worrying about the algorithm. Also nice to see that you had a lot of reach without posting so many reels recently!
Thank you so much for the tips!🥰I'm currently trying to grow my account so i can finally start art as my job and these tips are very helpful!i appreciate it and i hope you have an amazing day!😊💗
I fully support making this a community. I'm always helping other sellers with tips and tricks to what materials to use and how to get more sales. I don't understand people who are secretive about it, it just makes it hard for new artists.
Thank you for the good tips. Your videos made me start an Instagram profile with my illustrations and Graphic design projects. Now I have a few followers, but that doesn't bother me. I will continue to create, maybe I will need my three years to know if it will work. Thank you for your advices!
That's such a good video😊 I love your positivity 🥰your videos always motivates me. It's not easy for me to stay consistent on instagram. Sometimes paintings take me days and then I just post once a week and don't see a lot of growth. It used to frustrate me a lot, but now I see instagram more like a portfolio where I can see how my skills slowly develop. And knowing it is more for me then for others it is way more fun to post again and it is way less pressure.
Thank you so much for this video! It’s very helpful especially about the “don’t forget you’re not Robot, and you need to take care of yourself first.” That’s a hard lesson to learn esp with how the culture is pushing the grind hard motive 🙌🏼
Really helpful video, thanks! I'm trying to grow an art account actually, a youtube as well because I want to have an artistic carrer in my future! And your videos definetely helped my mindset, again, thanks Mimi
Really nice video presentation... it sure is a struggle with social media and instagram in particular with its algorithm changes and what not... having a motivating factor which doesn't just rely on follower and like counts is such a necessity. I can see you put so much of your heart and soul into these... very commendable. Thank you for the insights you are giving to the art community and budding artists such as myself who is on the insta struggle-bus haha
I really liked your advice on constantly posting to motivate yourself and learn more and improve your skills. I really want to improve my digital art skills but I am struggling with procrastination. I will create an instagram account and try to post regularly, hopefully this will motivate me to continue. Thanks for these awesome tips
Hi Mimi, your videos are so fantastic, thank you!! I’d love to see a behind the scenes on how you actually film everything and create your posts - reels etc. I love my art, but figuring out the best way to actually capture my process is definitely a (mental mostly!) barrier 💗
You’re so niiice! I love seeing your videos with tips for Instagram (^^) it helps me get motivated to keep working on what I love despite not having a big account :) 🧡
Thanks for the wonderful video and tips, Mimi. I completely agree. Authenticity and personal satisfaction are key. If you don't have them, there's no way you can possibly be happy, and it'll show in your art. My Instagram only has 60-ish followers so far, but I'm hoping btw organic growth from posting regularly and networking for professional friendships, it'll hit its marks well enough without being a worry. My Twitter is approaching 3k as I've been more active there, and my Pinterest is past that, but I haven't worked it in a long while. I used to be a virtual assistant and social media manager for authors as well as myself, but lost my taste for all that hyper fake cheerleading and quit. Now I'm coming back with a craving for authenticity, simplicity and personal happiness. Thanks for giving me a roadmap. Blessed be.
I have decided to try making more reels thus year to see if I can grow my followers. I've reached 700 followers but seem to be pretty much stuck there at the moment.
I have an Instagram account and a RUclips channel. And to be honest it takes me a lot of efforts, though I don't even post often. I'm not the best at dealing with my work, my personnal life and my art. I need to schedule more. ^^' Thanks for all your advices and first of all thank you for the kindness you spreed. ♥♥♥ I love watching your contains because it brings me joy, peace and self-estime. :)
Hi thank you very much for sharing your helpful tips and advice on how to grow on Instagram =D! How do I view the data on my IG posts? Do I need to switch my account to a professional account?
Hi, I have a question. If one takes weeks to finish a painting, for example, how many posts should he make? Should we make daily posts of the same painting for a whole month? Thanks!
Is it more beneficial to have a creator account? I run my job’s Instagram business page, but when I go to create a reel I’m much more limited on what music I can use vs just a standard page. Is it worth to switch it over?
Thank you so much for sharing this information!! It was straight to the point, realistic, and completely useful!! Also, gorgeous landscapes and stunning art!! ✿♥‿♥✿
Thanks for the food for thoughts~ 🧡✨ I’ve gotten back into art recently and trying to work out what platform I like to grow~ Instagram & RUclips definitely feel like my go-to’s at the moment~ But it honestly all feels overwhelming at times, and I’m definitely guilty of getting caught up in the numbers and likes lol So it’s a nice idea of setting goals! I’m gonna try it 🧡
I hear you, it's hard not to get overwhelmed sometimes especially when you look at the big picture and what's required to grow everything! Putting in a little bit of energy quite often though will have big results over a long time 😊
Hi Mimi, thank you for your advice. I have posted consistently on Instagram the last two months but did not see this kind of growth. I am putting out content that I personally love to draw and I am engaging with everyone who comments. I don't know what I am doing wrong :(
The video was very insightful on what to din terms of instagram. I managed to get to ~50 followers and somehow my growth just stopped and I've been struggling ever since. I'm going to try to incorporate some of the things you've mentioned and see wehther it can get me back on track
Hello Mimi! Thank you for all of your information It's not self-evident to share the insides of your account but it was super interesting to see as an small artist. This video will help lots of people, that's for sure! I hope you are doing well and have a great week 🥰

The numbers are definitely nice to see growing, but I think focusing on the community helps them grow too so it can be a win/win!
The value you provide - for free - is just crazy!
So so helpful and inspiring, you are very much appreciated Mimi 🥰
"We forget the power of human interaction and how it shines through" so true!🙌

Great insights, thanks.
