@@Vuthakral If you were to take 3 levels in rogue, you'd actually be forfeiting one of your extra attacks.
@ence no? You'd just need to be level 8 to get it if you multiclassed first, which you'd never do as a fighter

-monk open hand 6 (extra attack, flurry of fists, wholeness of body for +1 bonus action)
-fighter 2 (action surge)
-rouge thief 4 (+1 bonus action)
-bloodlust potion (+1 action)
so 10 attacks (12 when bloodlust procs) in a turn.
Wyll: "There is no escaping the Blade!" *dies cause featherfall fails to trigger*

yeah, in fact, back on EA they were called Fight Theme 9 / 16 (cause time signature) and Fight Theme 9 / 16 Enemy Down making the connection more evident
There are various versions of combat themes that play if you kill enough opponents or if any of your allies are down.

In fact, a level 11 fighter can attack up to 19 times in one turn under certain conditions.
basic attacks (3) + action surge (3) + potion of speed (3) + bloodlust elixir (3) + bonus action attack (Great weapon master) = 13. Need 2 more action sources. What am i missing?
@@HighWayMan444 two bonus action (with mind flayer ability: +6), and Varcus glove(act2)(1)
@@ArkhanTheCrual1234, Oh i got it now. If you use Helm of grit - you got two bonus actions (+6) = 18 attacks under mind flayer ability without need of GWM. Thanks. Gonna try it)
This has the leitmotif of the 2002 Dark Alliance main theme in it, as well as echoes of BG 1 and 2. So amazing!

Fighting Ansur to this was one of the best experiences ever. Such an intimidating beast that me and my party felt so outmatched by, but we held our own, and against all those electifying odds, survived.
I beat the crap out of him, dipped while he was charging his mega spell into the hallway before the fight, closed the doors, waited for him to finish the spell and then came out and beat him up again 😂😂😂
lol technically I could've ended him before he even took his first flight but I missed a beat and he died mid-air. He was so easy by the time I faced him.
Yea by the time I faced him it felt like I was overleveled and killed him in one turn
Oh shit, that's actually so clever. I struggled against the fight like hell and then gave up and resorted to save scumming. Having a team of 2 spellcasters and a cleric with one martial fighter was a mistake. And to make matters worse, Ansur didn't care at all about Karlach, just targetted my bard-sorcerer Tav and Gale the whole time.@@BruceWayne-fj9bm
I know wright? It was both epic and tragic knowing the story of this noble dragon. And emocions when he was charging his power during flight. That was moment when all mine party members stacked next to one crystal and tried destroy it so they would gain some resistance from it. During 2nd try I killed him during flight but I cant say it was easy.
SCOUTS, GET TO THE HIGH GROUND! RAIDERS, CHARGE THE BASTARDS! FOR THE ABSOLUUTE!!!!!
That line is imbedded in my head, the way it's delivered just gets you hyped for that battle, especially if the music synchronizes perfectly with it

This Part also always gets me every single goddamn time
I ended the Ansur fight by landing 3 divine smites in a row, and the music jumped to these vocals, which I think is a good melancholy note to end the legend of Ansur to. :(
It was like, my Tav's desperation to survive clashed with Ansur's nobility, as a heroic dragon with justification in seeking revenge against Balduran & my very enemies, the mind flayers! I always want to settle things diplomatically and can't imagine my Tav enjoys combat, yet *I* was the final nail in the coffin, ending what was meant to be the salvation of the city. In the end, it's as my Tav always says, "survival is all that matters!" :((
I must carry on the will of Ansur. The Emperor shall fall, and Orpheus will rise in his place. Surely *these* conses won't quence! >:P

The best combat soundtrack in any game i have played. The point this sets in after killing the first enemy in a round is glorious.
I love how this evokes the original BG soundtrack, and Poledouris' Conan, of course.
Is there a specific theme or song within those soundtracks? Or it's the whole themes runs subsequent to this ost?
@@DennyDormantHas a similar feel to it. Check something like From Out of the Storm or Attacked by Assassins from the BG1 soundtrack and that might give you an idea.

Calling turn based boring is for weak minded people.
Level 5 fighter level 1 monk level 3 thief level 3 sword bard, haste, elixir of bloodlust. 3 actions 2 bonus actions. Flurry of blows *2 = 4 strikes. Slashing flourish times 3 = 6 strikes. Then 3 regular or battlemaster strikes. Now use your action surge for 2 more strikes. That's still only 15 strikes. You lose
I just realized you can get 16 by changing fighter to level 2 and Bard to level 6 for an extra bardic inspiration. Nice
