As I understand it, Hive & Honey are getting 1617’s FO’s. Unfortunately I was using the alabaster Evermore. I did purchase and receive 200 Evermore vessels at 50% off, which at the time was a really great deal and took advantage of it. Thank you Jeff, I’ll be paying attention to your video posts. Luckily I didn't get much from 1617 that can't be replaced if I can't locate it somewhere else. Companies change their vessels all the time. I change mine some what frequent depending on basic or luxury to keep up with a fresh look.
The Facebook forums have been up in arms over this one. I’ve been careful to go with 4/5 different oil suppliers and I make my own concrete candles so I’m safe there. I think several company are discussing dupes BUT the newest issue is the 1617 owner asked the supplier not to release any samples as they may work w them in the future.
That's ridiculous! They abruptly close, basically sabotaging small businesses due to the lack of professionalism, and expect the manufacturer to hold on to info, "just in case" they decide to start another business? I went from shocked to disgusted by this whole ordeal. Even if she were to open up another shop, I would never support- the trust is broken.
They will probably stock it as soon as their order comes in. The owner is very nice and efficient, she don't mess around when it comes to the demands of the candle community. She will do what she can to help fellow candle makers with the closing of 1617. Just keep an eye on her website everyday.
1617 was the only supplier I have ever seen with the passion print vessels. Luckily I purchased lots of them and have a good inventory but hope to have access to more soon.
I was using their gold evermore and red evermore vessels. Anyone who knows where i can get them please share. The ones on Dream vessels aren't as thick and quality as those of 1617
Crimson is another involved with dupes. Scent Memory has a few fragrances already, but they may or may not be identical. (Everything seems to be a dupe of a dupe of a dupe...) Scentsational Soaping Supply is planning to work on dupes.
My vessels from them, that I currently can't locate from China. I'll be selling them as last chance to get. Making sure my customers know how much their candle is truly worth.

A lot of the Chinese factories are in trouble due to lack of order volumes. Make sure to sample order before placing a full order. Quality does vary greatly.

Where can we purchase the evermore vessels in the US?

Jeff have you ever used or have any knowledge on Nature's garden Joy wax for container wax and Pillar of Bliss for wax melts?
