Be smug about it all you want but EA sent this game out to die. And every gamer knows that all Multiplayer games on Origin die within weeks unless they are called Battlefield.
Why? What is it about Origin that people dont like? its just another DRM software justlike Steam and Uplay why does the PC gaming community have to be so negative about everything? I simply dont get it smh
+Gamith Silva Imagine you want to use a pen. You have a drawer full of pens right at the desk you're sitting on. You have a second drawer with 3 pens in it in the next room. Do you get up and walk into the next room and back to get the pen? No, of course not. You open the drawer right next to you and take a pen out of that. You have a Steam library with hundreds of games and all your friends playing on Steam. You have an Origin library with 3 games and none of your friends. You see where this is going, I guess. Add in the fact that Origin was essentially spyware when it first released which painted the program in a negative light in the minds of most PC gamers forever, regardless of the changes made and you've got a software nobody wants. On top of that, many gamers all around the world despise EA in general for their shitty business practices, like the invention of the codes you had to enter to unlock the multiplayer part of games last generation. 50 dollar season passes. Acquiring beloved studios like Bullfrog, running them into the ground with bad descisions and then closing them. Trying to sneak spyware like the original Origin on people's computers, etc. EA has "won" the award for Worst Company of America twice in a row, beating out companies like Shell. People don't like EA very much. On console it's only an ideologic descision to either buy an EA published game or not. On PC they force you to use their software, which people don't want. I have Origin and I still close it every time when I'm done playing and never run it outside of these occasions because I don't trust the software. Contrast this with Steam, where it's become a habit to run it as soon as I boot up my computer.
Glad to see a group of developers willing to change the fundamental nature of a game, to make it better. Instead of just adding more stuff.
i know right, in fact i was having the same problem with a game i'm working on, until i watched this
it's sad to think the reason why TF1 player base dropped was cause there wasn't enough stuff. Quailty stuff but not enough of it. ;-;
this is such a great talk. This guy really explains why I love the titan combat as well.
Wait, so the Thunderbolt was originally designed to be a Titan weapon? That's kind of awesome
I always thought that titan fights were similar to moba. I wasn't wrong!
Excellent game
but they just put the xo16 in the game...
Why can't you cut the videos to start AFTER the plea for mobile phones and surveys? Every time...
It is too bad that this IP will never take off as long as the PC community is forced to go to Origin.
I'm guessing this is based off of a study?

Cymen couldn't agree more.

Should have kept shields though.
Nah, regenerating shields are annoying.
@@sewagridmnds627 It was definitely a right call.
Titan combat used to be called boring and lacking depth
xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD do you even talk with people actually good at your games?
