Watching this as an adult and realizing how much this is performance art.
Tom, you're a special kind of humorist. You're rude, but not offensive. You're crossing the line, but you're not a criminal. You're acting strange, but you're not a fool. You prank people, but don't embarrass them and I could go on like this and name a few other characteristics that made you into the artist that you are. You're one of a kind and you're still an entertaining person nowadays. Thank you for being you !!
Very Canadian like Kids in the Hall where it becomes much funnier when you realise that the cast are making themselves the joke instead of trying to make others the butt of the joke... Mostly .... That's what my take is anyway.
Watching this in 2023 and it makes me wonder what video it is that you watched. He was definitely rude, offensive, crossed the line, acted strange, acted a fool, pranked and embarrassed people. And he is definitely a criminal. I love the dude but it sounds like you're stunted in your teens, bud. Grow up.

The worst he does is getting really loud in peoples faces but hey 1997 that was like 60 years ago different humour back then.
@@theo1216unfortunately I am still stuck on 90s humor cus I grew up watching Tom green show, Andy dick show, Ben stiller show, listening to slim shady. It raised me. And today all of that would be “cancel cultured”. MTV isn’t mtv anymore.

At the time i totally didnt get this show. He was so ahead of the curve. Its fun to go back and watch these now and see the genius. Thanks Tom.
It's great seeing these old episodes again. Tom was SO ahead of his time and is a true innovator, this is the kind of stuff you'd see on the internet now and Tom was doing it in the mid '90s. That's crazy. We'd seen nothing like this back in the day, it's no surprise it blew up to become a massive and influential show. I really wish that Tom would put together another comedy show for RUclips however he'd probably get recognised these days.
I live where he’s from and talk to a lot of people who have no clue who he is or anything about him. It really shows how lame the province of Ontario is. Also Katie it looks like you’re eating ham or something

The camera work, colour correction, set design and graphic design of the show in this period are honestly top notch. A fantastic aesthetic going on here that makes it so visually appealing.

Bro I watched all episodes of the old shows on RUclips. Starting off in Canada before MTV, during the pandemic. I was laughing my ass off every night for months. Tom Green helped my depression and I seriously credit him for helping me. Watch the old episodes!!

We're all just different antennas for the same cosmic entity. I loved Tom Green when I was in high school. I like what he's doing now even more. We've been on similar life paths, it seems.

I looked forward to the weekends to stay up late Saturday night and watch Tom Green. Everyone was watching him, it got funnier every week too. Always loved the bags of milk!

I'll never forget seeing Tom on the Dini Petty show when I was a kid and just being utterly blown away. To this day, I still tell people about the plaid house skit, Tom painting lesbians on his dad's car, and the front yard sculpture. "Oh, you think Jackass was revolutionary? Listen up...!"

This is the Tom Green I was introduced to very first! They showed it on one of the comedy channels in Australia and I was instantly hooked. You can’t find these shows anywhere now so it’s awesome you’re posting them!!
