@1:25 not all AWD systems are equal. Subaru AWD is the best there is.

I can I agree with that choice. I am sad that Subaru has killed the 3.6 H-6, it made such a great sound especially with an aftermarket exhaust and great torque with 0 delay. On the other hand I totally understand why the dumped the H-6, it was heavy, didn’t get the best mpg and could have used more HP. I’m glad they were smart enough to bring back the turbocharged GT (Legacy XT in the US) in it’s place.

This guy is a no nonsense journalist. He just tells it how it is. I bought the Touring XT which is equivalent to a Premier GT in your country. This car offers a truck load of goodies for the money, like Adaptive headlights, AWD, Napper Leather, thigh extension, and even heated steering wheel. Non of which you’ll find on a Honda Accord (at least here in the states) yes it has a CVT but like you said Mr Justin the Legacy is built for comfort not for a race track, therefore the people who are complaining, Subaru has another car called an STI, you can sleep right on the race track with it. Subaru’s CVT works well and maybe some day they will employ a conventional auto but for now it is what it is. Thank you for keeping us informed across the border.

Comments like that make my day. I always try to think of it from an owner's perspective. Very glad to hear it. Cheers from Northern Ontario!

Justin Pritchard you’re welcome sir, I love all your videos. The first time I saw you was the 2017 or 2018 Outback.

I love my 2020 Legacy GT - everything you said - accurate.

Biggest irritation of the touch screen was fixed with an update. They moved the auto stop/start disable button to the home screen so its as easy to turn off as if it were a physical button on the dash. I live in California so the AWD will rarely get to stretch its legs, but I love this car (mine is identical to your tester save for the badging - its a Touring XT here). So worth it just in case I want to run up into the Sierra during the winter.

Hight adjustable suspension would be great.

Hey that's a very accurate review. I felt the same way when trying it out. Although currently I'm confused between a 2020 Subaru Legacy Convenience vs Touring trim. Which one do you think will give the most bang for the buck? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

It is easy to turn off the lane assist on snow or mud covered roads or when lane marking are missing. It is a great car but mine was just delivered to me new with unbalanced tires, a rattle in the dash and with un-lubricated door hinges. Now I have to waste time getting these issues corrected. So much for North American assembly quality. Our 2010 Tribeca, made in Japan, was perfect on delivery and needed nothing for years, except regular oil changes.

Dose GT and Cvt make any sense? I am a Subaru fan, have had four of them, but Cvt and Turbo engine is a deal breaker! I test drove this car, Cvt is big disappointment. In this price range, I would go for German car, A3, GTI , or base Genesis G70 2L

Comes down to your preference. Id rather a 6-speed manual. Those were the days. Smooth vs sporty.

In a way it does make sense since most people could care less if it's a traditional auto, a dual clutch auto or a cvt, they will buy a Subaru regardless and that to me makes sense.....on the other hand Subaru does cater to those of us that desire a more performance oriented transmission by offering a traditional 6 speed manual transmission in the cars that really need it like the wrx and Sti, even the crosstrek gets one too, I also believe the forester gets a manual too If I'm not mistaken... I myself got a 2018 outback 2.5 premium with all the options and honestly I like how the cvt performs onroad or offroad...it feels alot better then my 2012 Nissan Sentra with CVT

CVT comments are just ongoing negativity from people that really don’t know anything about them but continue the argument from woke RUclips channels that know even less. Research when Subaru actually started with cvts and no it wasn’t six years ago. It also comes down to servicing your Subaru oh and they burn tons of oil currently and head gaskets blow monthly. That’s what cvt comments are like.
