I wanted to thank you young man, I'm a 50 year old man who had dark circles and a couple dark spots.. This simple use my fingers undetectable easy approach gives me more confidence. Even when I disclose that I am wearing makeup.. They can't tell. So thanks a lot! ✌️
Honestly, I am a female with a few masculine features and you have gave me better advice than most of the makeup videos I tried to watch even though this is makeup targeted towards guys, you literally saved me more time and money. Your application and advice is straight to the point and more cohesive to follow than any other tutorial i've seen can't wait to watch more of your videos!
Gah finally, one that makes sense. I'm a straight dude that's been trying to find a video that just....makes sense for me. My gf helps me a little, but not that much. I've watched everything from super long videos to super short. This one WAS long, but you didnt get off on tangents or, in my opinion, give useless information. The order of products makes sense, how to put it on makes sense, the makeups used in tandem makes sense, just everything. It was a very practical how-to video. Thanks for this. The only problem I have is that it IS such a long video, in my opinion. But also, in my opinion, all the information you put in the video was spot on and very helpful, so shortening it might be detrimental. You're the first person that mentioned the peach color corrector for under the eyes. I get bad sleep so I have huge dark circles and nothing else worked. YOUR method made sense. Every product was explained so well. Thanks again, I look forward to trying these things out. If I can afford it lol.
Thanks man, glad you found it helpful! And thank you for the feedback, I totally get what you mean! I was actually thinking for future tutorials to add a clip at the end where I just apply the makeup in real-life speed, so viewers can do it along with me and add a time stamp in the description box so although the overall video would be longer you could just click the time stamp and fast forward straight to that part if you've watched the in-depth tutorial once before. Would that be helpful?
@@ThePoleWizard Yes, so so much. But I have no complaints about your video honestly. I'm not lazy and finding the spot I need to find in the video isnt that hard. But I *know* for a fact the majority of other people would really appreciate that. If you are gonna do that, maybe put an "!" or something next to the time tabs you think are very important and that people shouldn't skip, for those that are new. You could maybe make it a difficulty ranked time tagged video, too. Like, "If you want the bare, easiest minimum required, click: __, __, and __." "If you want intermediate level (like adding highlighters, bronzers, or the tan you added maybe etc etc) click: __, __, __, __, you can decide between __ and __, and finally __." "For the best, most advanced coverage, here are the beginning time tags for each, in depth step: __, __, __, etc." Idk. Like I said yours, *for me,* has been the cream of the crop, so you dont need to change anything in my book. But if you want to evolve and make your viewers feel more connected solely based on the effort you give to them, stuff like this and what you said could definitely help and it would work, to me.
@@erik3579 because every time you see a makeup video it's always made by super obvious gay people, and it can make you feel it's not your place to be there being straight?
I swear I’m not exaggerating at all when I tell you this was one of the absolute best and most original makeup videos I’ve seen. So many natural look videos still look very ‘MADE UP’ but this was seriously impressive! I’ve never thought to use foundation to bronze and I’m absolutely looking to buy that CT BB cream you used!
So so so glad you did a tutorial for men!!!! I'm a professional mua of 15 years now and just recently started doing more tutorials for male and how to do makeup for men since not many people know how to do makeup on men. I recently did a SKIN series for my photography and did a makeup look for men and have it very natural!!!! Keep it up and would love to see more of this trending 👍👍
This is one of the best and most practical tutorials I’ve seen. No music made it easier to follow too and you’re very easy to understand. I love your video! Agree with you in the tinted moisturizer vs foundation for sure
The best... BEST... makeup for men that I’ve found (over 15 years as a mua) is powder 💁🏻 It applies super easily, it is easy to get out of the beard and is best for oilier skins I’ve used it on shoots, tv and even underwater/wet sets and it works like a dream For guys in everyday life they can buy 1 shade and it functions as foundation/concealer. Bare minerals and IT cosmetics is what I use most.
I'm doing my fiances makeup for his job, he works for the media and I have never done a amn's makeup and I felt there are different key points to focus on then a woman's. This was great and it was saved for later. Thank you!!!
Would you recommend the de-slick setting spray for guys with dry skin? Looking for something to keep makeup on without drying out my skin more than it already is now 😅😅😅
I can't tell you the difference between before and after 😂😂😂 because you're actually sooo cute from the beginning. This is my first time to see tutorial on how to wear make up.
I am a male as well and since i am a student and dont have a lot of money to buy highend makeup i tend to go for drugstore all the time! And for me the best skin product was the NYX bare with me tinted skin veil, it is so good for no make up looks! No one can tell that you are wearing anything on your face and it gives your face such a filtered litteist coverage, highly recommend it!
Wow! Thanks. I had decided to use BB cream as a contour also. It seemed to blend so well, and the concealer is so heavy, I just use it on blemished areas or spots bc it is horrid under my eyes unless I’m on camera. On camera it looks flawless, in person it looks like cake. I also use the same amounts as you. I do find that using a spray powder, I use Dior directly to a brush, it helps to keep the look in place and keeps the oils from my base primer and moisturizer from seeping to the top. Thanks for sharing. These are great tips. 😊
Freelance MUA here. Tomorrow is my first time doing male makeup, and this video gave me CONFIDENCE! Thank you so much! I appreciate the artistry that any male puts into any makeup look, but it’s really hard trying to find one for a fresh, natural everyday look.
By far the best male makeup tutorial I have watched so far. The results were amazing and the way it was explained was very thorough. Definitely going to try this!
Just a little female FYI. There's a difference between setting powders and finishing. Finishing powders are more finely milled. I think a finishing powder would be the better choice if you're going for an invisible/seamless look. Love to see men embracing looking as good as they can!!
I can tell the difference between the before and after but the whole process was smooth that the end product still looked natural. He looks more awake and ready to start the day
First off you are absolutely stunning with or without makeup. Secondly I learned a lot and going to actually try this this weekend, have NEVER wore makeup before 😱😱 Thank you!
This is perfect for me. I'm a guy and I'm in sales and I try to always look my best. I've just been using a light bronzing powder to just give me a little bit of a tan and it's fine, but I think this will be really helpful for me. I never want people to think I'm wearing make-up and you look completely natural in this tutorial. Thanks for this! Also like to put it on my neck and chest of in wearing a polo shirt or a bottom down without a tie. Would these products be ok to use on my neck and chest also?
One little tip if I may add . For bronzers it is best to go for a slighter more red tone as opposed to the one you used that reads yellow at least on camera it does. When the skin burns it turns red so a more red tone based cream blush or liquid bronzer will look even more natural once blended
Hi Jakub, I am Frank, chemist and owner of SailOnCosmetics/Etsy , and just a quick tip. To stop concealers from creasing apply with a damp to wet beauty sponge. This always works ! I also have methods for waterproofing your makeup look- for those fellow scuba divers out there !
Dude this is an awesome tutorial. You look perfect and gorgeous without any makeup on but flawless and natural by the end of the video. And the proof is self-evident. You legit don't look like you have literally anything on by the end. Just looks clean and fresh. But again, I actually love the very minor skin patterns ("imperfections" for lack of a better term) on your skin in the beginning and I genuinely don't think you need any makeup at all. But as I say when I use bronzer or touch up my beard with color: I do it for ME and how I feel when I look in the mirror. If anyone else likes it, bonus. But it's all about doing what makes you feel good, whatever that is!! Again, awesome video and person!on your skin in the beginning and I genuinely don't think you need any makeup at all. But as I say when I use bronzer or touch up my beard with color: I do it for ME and how I feel when I look in the mirror. If anyone else likes it, bo
Just spent hours watching natural make up tutorials for men and yours is by far the best! Finally one that gave me all the info and introduction I needed as I, just like you said, just got in the age wen I need a little help form make up because we aren't young forever :D Thank you for the video.
This was so enjoyable to watch and I enjoyed hearing you talk, you are very engaging. You should definitely make more long form tutorials like this. I saw a comment saying this was too long but I disagree as you were so detailed and I can’t stand it when you go to watch a “how to” video and the video speeds up the steps so you can’t see what they did 😩. Hope you come back to RUclips soon ❤️
perfect video! I seriously will be taking your advice 100% I have watched other makeup ones geared towards Guys and you can still tell that its makeup. your tutorial is gold! its the best out there. FINALLY! love the depth and length of explanation. you killed it in your delivery. love it! thank you!
Good vid. Have spent past hour online and so confused about colour corrector. Nearly all say concealer yet u say it’s not a concealer. So looked for the exact one in your description but it’s not available in Australia. Can u explain or recommend one we can get down under ?
Thank you very much for your tutorial! I have watched it a couple times and am slowly learning new things. I am 64 going on 40 and I am too old to look like I wear makeup. lol In the 80's I did everything imaginable with my makeup and my hair. I really wish my hair was as nice as it was. Getting old sux. lol Don't abuse your body too much and stay young as long as you can!
Great tutorial! Detailed w/out getting complicated or belaboring. I was wondering why you didn't add a lip balm or clear mascara to the regime. The lip especially.
Your video convinced me. Shopped/purchased all products, other than the one that is discontinued. You were very helpful. It was very easy to explain to the person (female) at the beauty counter what I needed. Showed your list and we were on our way. WOW!. Painless! I am a man's man and gay! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Muah!
After the first try I returned the products I don't need. The only way to find out is to try. Your video was a great intro for me. BTW... checked your vids. I never knew about male pole dancing - Amazing! NICE!
Very helpful. Glad to see more and more information and support out there. Iv used product to n the past for specific occasions however do to health condition and reaction to treatment I've got an issues I need all the input I can get. This treatment makes me have bright read skin with and without breakouts. Allso it gives me horrible hot flashes. I'm having trouble with trying to cover this or at least tone it down so I don't go out looking like a glowing red light that draws so much attention. The red hot skin tends to look dehydrated regardless what or how much moisturizer I use. Please if anyone has advice so glad to listen. Thanks
Companies do correctors for all skintones 😊 mine would obviously be too light for a tan to deep skintone, but there's plenty out there 😁 thank you so much!
this tutorial has been my gospel. Helped me so much, thank you Jakub. I'm still struggling with eyebrows and lower eyelashes. Not trying to be Bianca Del Rio but for a man at 50 that want to look somewhat fresh on all of the video meetings of the day. I'd appreciate some pointers on brows and lashes without looking "made up" as this tutorial accomplished
Thanks for the video! I’m gonna try this! I’ve just started dabbling in makeup and started with my lashes using mascara. I’d just bought a liner to try and it didn’t go well. Would love to see. A video on that !
I like your make up~ Mine is a bit thicker daily wise. Guys don't always have full eyebrow just fyi lol. Sometimes you're missing a spot and it make it a bit awkward. I had to spend time fill my eye brow while make it look nature. (Eyebrows take much longer then applying foundation / concealers).
Hey! Setting powder sets all your cream and liquid complexion products in place, so they don't move around 😊 it also mattifies and minimises creasing (there are foundations with a very matte finish though that you don't necessarily need to set, I tend to go for more glowy formulas). Setting Spray on the other hand sets everthing in place, not just your complexion products, increases wear time, minimises transfer and can have additional qualities like reducing shine or the opposite - making the look more dewy 😊 Hope this helps!
Very helpful video!! I was looking so much and never watched someone that was realized a really natural way to hide the under the eyed area whiteout look havy, that peachy correcting color seems perfect! I have to try it 😉 You got a New subscriber 🙋🏼♂️
Really helpful, thank you for making this! Have been wanting a way to conceal pores and look a bit more 'polished' and your video is going to help me do just that! :-)
Loved your video. I'm new at putting on make up. Learning the in's outs of it all. But I appreciate videos like yours. Keep them coming. And lastly, your so Handsome!!

What would you suggest to a person who has dark circle, round puffy face and some rosacea/seborroic derma ? Please a help would be so important. Thanks.:*
Thank you so so much for the tips!! Very helpful and it is the first time I’ve tried any make up because I thought it was going to be obvious but the way you explained it was very easy, natural like and helpful. Thanks again!!! Wow
So, if you want to keep it super simple you can use steps 1-3, then setting powder where needed and setting spray, correct? Why would you need the bb cream? And how can I get one that matches my skin without going out to buy one? I've ordered lots of expensive stuff but it never matches my skin? Maybe I should just start with the steps I said above and go from there. I'm older and in my 50's. Also, could you possibly do a tutorial to help draw away or "hide" the neck? As in turkey neck. :( Thank you! P.S. Great tutorial, THANK YOU!
Thanks. This was a really educational video. I like the simplicity of applying the makeup with just your fingers bc I don’t have any brushes and the only makeup applicator I have is one for the eyebrows, which I haven’t used in more than year. I liked your suggestion about using a brow pencil to fill in the brow area so it looks fuller. I would like fuller eyebrows and I imagine this can be achieved any number of ways. I would like to know what you think of microblading to create fuller eyebrows. It seems to be the rage with celebrities here in the USA (not sure about UK) and it is not cost prohibitive though it still is a bit expensive. Urban Decay must be more of UK store bc there are none near me and I live in a metro area. What do you think about MAC cosmetics? I have always associated the brand with as being very urban and cosmopolitan, but I assume the price point for their products are higher than many brands. Is it worth the extra money to go with the MAC brand? I would be interested to know your thoughts regarding my questions. Finally, let me add that you definitely had a fresh natural look to your skin post application and I wouldn’t have guessed you had applied anything to your skin. Good work.
We're so accustom to females mostly wearing makeup but if a man, is still manly with makeup on If a man, looks great with an undetectable/shine free face well as a female,I love undetectable makeup, because,I want to look fresh/youthful and just naturally flawless. I thoroughly 😍😘🥰 this.
Really great - just watched for first time and thought yeah! That looks good. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise with everyone. If you ever have time and a friend, colleague or older relative - would be interested to see how you handle older eyes and how to detail for a large nose! Yeah I’m a Concord nose and dark under eyes which are starting to bag a little! Grrr! I wish I could find out what Anderson Cooper and Chris Cuomo use on their eyes! All the CNN hosts have good eyes and skin! (Jealous) 😉 Any help for the older guy would be appreciated. Thanks and hugz - John
Excellent video! New subscriber here. Looking forward to seeing more makeUp videos. I am a makeup junkie so this was very interesting to see. My problem is the concealer! Thank you 🙏😀💕
Omg thanks a lot I’m new to this and I’m very motivated after seeing your video I’m nervous yet willing to try like you said we are no younger anymore and I refused to not be pretty anymore good karma all the best
I'd advice just a good eye cream, a translucent powder and something to bring out your eyes/brows. THATS IT! (ok and if you have dark circles under the eyes use a concealer). You don't need all this shit. JUST these 3 items and their SPF versions in case you will be under the sun.
I'm 33 and my pores are very noticeable and I want to make them look less noticeable if i shared my face would you be able to help me. Also I'm self conscious about my eyebrows and mustache. Any tips?
So there's a girl who I think really likes me as she has said that but she's about 10 years younger. I think she might be embarrassed by my age so if I could look more youthful or just less aged I think she might be more interested in being with me in person/in public. We live in the same city so it's not long distance I just think she is hesitant to be with someone soo much older.

Thanks for this I am fast approaching 60 and my skin is changing fast, bloody age spots ! Can you recommend a good BB cream that I could start with ?
Thanks for the video! I’m gonna try this!
I’ve just started dabbling in makeup and started with my lashes using mascara. I’d just bought a liner to try and it didn’t go well. Would love to see. A video on that !
I recommend e.l.f to guys/ppl who want inexpensive makeup that’s good quality
100%! E. L. F. is doing it right, their Poreless Putty Primer is one of my new favourites :)
Any thoughts on NY Max? I’m using a couple of their products & have been happy this far.
Jakub Kolasa what products would you recommend getting off their site for undetectable male makeup?
You gave me enough confidence due to explaining every product and step. I am really pumped to try this now
I like your make up~ Mine is a bit thicker daily wise. Guys don't always have full eyebrow just fyi lol. Sometimes you're missing a spot and it make it a bit awkward. I had to spend time fill my eye brow while make it look nature. (Eyebrows take much longer then applying foundation / concealers).
This is perfect I always see elaborate full coverage looks but this is exactly what ive been looking for. Thank you!!
Thank you so much!
Yeah this is the one right here. Thanks 🙏🏻
bandstand?! nice to see u here
Jakub, Thank you. I am in my 50's This is a life saver.
can I skip setting powder and just use setting spray?
Please can I ask why you would use a setting powder AND setting spray? Do they do the same thing?
Jakub Kolasa thank you, I’m off to the shop to buy some products and give it a go 😃
Thank you so much for such a great, informative video. Any suggestion for a guy that sweats a lot?
Your skin looks perfect to go already before makeup
good makeup tutorial mate ~~
Thank you 😊
Very helpful video!! I was looking so much and never watched someone that was realized a really natural way to hide the under the eyed area whiteout look havy, that peachy correcting color seems perfect! I have to try it 😉
You got a New subscriber 🙋🏼♂️
Great video! Now where do I find the tutorial on how to properly remove make-up?
Noticed the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation is discontinued. Anything you would recommend in its place?
Really helpful, thank you for making this! Have been wanting a way to conceal pores and look a bit more 'polished' and your video is going to help me do just that! :-)
Is there a replacement you or others can recommend to replace the Urban Decay Hotsprings gel?
Loved your video. I'm new at putting on make up. Learning the in's outs of it all. But I appreciate videos like yours. Keep them coming. And lastly, your so Handsome!!
What would you suggest to a person who has dark circle, round puffy face and some rosacea/seborroic derma ? Please a help would be so important. Thanks.:*
The best mens makeup video on YT I have seen!
Thank you so so much for the tips!! Very helpful and it is the first time I’ve tried any make up because I thought it was going to be obvious but the way you explained it was very easy, natural like and helpful. Thanks again!!! Wow
I wore makeup for the first time in my life. I had a job interview through blue jeans in which i sucked; however, i looked crazy sexy cool
That’s a great video! Thanks. I go on a lot of auditions, so I was looking for something like this.
I'm black and I tried the Unisex Healthy glow. It looks like zombie makeup or I have to blend this with my hands for about 5 minutes.
Hello. Is the brow setting gel clear? Thank you.
Such a great tutorial~ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! 😊
天天也在学化妆啊
Can you just do the colour correct and the tinted moisturiser or do you have to then use setting spray?
You might have to touch up a bit during the day if you dont set it in place
@@rukianur8640 or you can just be gorgeous like you lolz
Pretty and calm. Somebody is very lucky to be waking up next to him.
Ta! It was quite good video 📸 you taught so well, this kinda makeup looks can give all people a better version of their own natural look!
What about the Guyliner?
Good work.
We're so accustom to females mostly wearing makeup
but if a man, is still manly with makeup on
If a man, looks great with an undetectable/shine free face
well
as a female,I love undetectable makeup, because,I want to look fresh/youthful and just naturally flawless.
I thoroughly 😍😘🥰 this.
What was the brow pencil you talked about but didn’t have on hand??
As a woman, love it. So good and practical for guys =)
I'm trans and was thinking of makeup for a while, this helped a lot :)) thank you
Thanks for this bro, you're the only one on here that actually explains whats happening. Subbing now. This is life changing for me hahaha
This is what I look for.
Thank you for sharing your information.
Have a fruitful day from Indonesia!
Thank you! Have a good day as well ❤️
the facial expressions that you make are so cute 😂
Okay gurrrrrrrl you got this cis!
For darker men you can use more of a red tone color corrector
Hi What happens if you swett on your face ?
Excellent video! New subscriber here. Looking forward to seeing more makeUp videos. I am a makeup junkie so this was very interesting to see. My problem is the concealer! Thank you 🙏😀💕
Omg thanks a lot I’m new to this and I’m very motivated after seeing your video I’m nervous yet willing to try like you said we are no younger anymore and I refused to not be pretty anymore good karma all the best
Thank you Your look is perfectly seamless and very inspiring. Genius!
I'd advice just a good eye cream, a translucent powder and something to bring out your eyes/brows. THATS IT! (ok and if you have dark circles under the eyes use a concealer). You don't need all this shit. JUST these 3 items and their SPF versions in case you will be under the sun.
This was soo informative!!! Thank you Jakub!!!
Thank God you got that bit of moisturizer off at @ 2:54 ! :)
This was so interesting and helpful...thanks, Jakub!
Thank you! Glad I could help 😊
Awesome Job!! I learned a lot, much appreciated 👍🏽
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thank you so much, you have been sooo helpful! Plus, you are so pretty
If it's taking too long watch at 2x speed
Wow! You look really, really good. Great job.
Finally to the point no b.s.!!! thank you, thank you!
this is really helpful. would love a few suggestions for comparable drug store products!
I love that this applied to me as a woman thank you
Can you please do one on south indian dusky color skin tone 🙏
This is what I really like, a simple makeup for a guy. I saw other videos, and what they do is more for a drag in a show 😂
Just found you Jakub and love your channel! So you think you could do a male contour video? Thanks man and I subbed!
Thank you so much! That's actually been on my to do list, so there definitely will be a male contour video in the future 😁
U r too good.... Very skilled!!
Thank you!
Amazing!!! I have always loved male make up since I was a teenager, I wish I knew this when I was 15 jajaja LOL
I just need to wear some to cover this tiny scar above my lip. Assuming aloe vera doesn't do anything
thanks for the tutorial, i was researching how to help my husband do a simple makeup and he has beard and moustache so it is tricky😅
