So cool. I saw him in Sydney on the first show. They said on the news he performed Now & Then for you guys, if you have it recorded would you be willing to upload it for us? Thanks!
I wonder if at such age moving to signing in the lower register can make it sound better or will it still be sounding as if the singer is kind of choked? I know that it has to do with vocal chords becoming too soft and less resistant, so the singer needs a bigger flow of air now to make them vibrate, which means that the singer in the old age can no longer sustain long notes, but still can going to lower register at least make signing easier?
What a shame :( he seems so tired and weary here... he has no energy when he sings. It breaks my heart :( When he starts to sing, he almost looks like he will fall asleep. I love The Beatles and I love Paul and Wings etc... he was amazing. But it's now time for him to retire and rest. Watching thnis video almost had me in tears. So sad :( :(
Of course your opinion is your right, but completely disagree with your sentiment. I am in the process of watching 8 or 10 of his songs recorded on this tour and just posted. I have never seen him live, or Ringo for that matter. Didn't expect much. He's 81, according to other postings. Watch more of the videos. He is performing incredibly, and providing thrills to people in many cities. This isn't for the money, as is the case so often for other bands who tour. It's not about how much of his voice is left, and I was surprised at how much of it is still great. It's about the thrill. None of us will be around forever, including Paul. Those in attendance are loving him, and thank god for RUclips that I can see this. I dislike bad cover / tribute bands, etc. He is still the real thing, with fine musicians supporting him. Fifty years ago I liked John's songs better, personal taste, but Paul has earned the respect of the world over and over. Now he, and Ringo, are all we have. No shame, just raw energy and entertainment displayed by history that lives. Just sad to me that you can't enjoy it.
I enjoy it, i really do, but it also breaks my heart because no one has the nerve to tell him that he needs to retire. He looked like he was about to fall asleep a few times during this song (maybe due to jet lag/international travel) and his voice isnt the same (lets be honest...) as it was when he first started singing. Its' just not the same. I think he did too many shows here in australia, and was very very tired. I feel very sorry for him. And honestly, it breaks my heart to see him like this. i hope that he starts to get some more rest between shows.@@latkagravas2967
I know, I get that. I really do. But I also have to call a spade a spade; reality is at 81 he is showing significant signs of age, wearyness and fatigue. Anyhow, I've made my point, I am not goign to comment anymore, It just upsets me too much to see him like this. Cheers best wishes to everyone. @@michaeladams8401
This is a song written mainly by John, difficult if not impossible to perform live at the time... now we can feel his magnificient experience sung by the original Beatle Paul, who also contributed to the song... now that being said, after all of that who cares about his voice??? Only his opinion matters but he still does it for the love to the music
EXCELLENT! TY!!!
Paul is doing great! Sounds pretty good here.

I was at the show and he didn't perform "Now and Then" unfortunately 😢 . I don't know why the news said that.

My god, what happenend with Australian audiences? They're too quiet! Every video from every gig. They had him come back for this?

Paul is doing what he loves and is giving us all a continuing gift and we're all the better for it.
