Awesome video! I'm new to telemark... I grew up a snowboarder, moved to Vermont, fell in love with BC classic nordic because it's so available. After a few years I wanted to traverse further and go down steeper hills so I upgraded to a Tele setup! Scarpa t2 boot, switchback x2 binding, voile ultravector bc ski. Absolutely in love, nothings perfectly sized but It's my first setup and it works currently.. I'm 5'4 140-150lbs, I got 164 skis (wish I went a little shorter), I'm a size 41eu shoe an I got a 25.5 boot ( should've got a 25, exp voice didnt have it though). I have a ton of fun though.. my first time out I traversed a local nordic spot in full tour mode to see what pains would arise, ended up doing over 8 miles before needing lunch. I started descending not long after, I'm definitely a lawn dart at times but hey I'm learning.
Love this. Thanks for sharing all that. Always rad to hear people’s stories! - Madsen
