  • On this week's podcast I sit down for a conversation with the founding members of Midwest Telefest that included the owners, employees, and friends of Life Tools Adventure Outfitters. The Co-op turned outdoor shop was a hub for Telemark equipment in the Green Bay, WI area for many years and helped bring awareness to the great Telemark turn.

Very sorry to hear FHL is closed. Bought a bunch of binding parts from them over the years. I called once to get some help on mounting Chilis to a couple sets of LL Bean (Rossignol) Boreals for my sons to learn on and Josh personally walked me thru the process. I matched those with Asolo doubles for my boys to learn on and 12 years later they're now ripping turns as tele-ambassadors to the Midwest. They're actually in a short segment in a Telefest video somewhere out here.
His contribution to documenting the history of telemark via his podcasts is his greatest legacy. Met him once a few years ago at Midwest Telefest - super friendly guy.
