I was 17 and fell in love with them. Poster on my wall, listening to Burn and Stormbringer continuously....till I discovered Jethro Tull. But I still like a lot of their music, and Ritchie has a special place in my heart. He has much taste and emotion in his playing.

Seeing Coverdale drinkin' a Coca-Cola at 1:25 reminds of just how good "Old Coke" used to be prior to 1985? After the introduction of that "New Coke" garbage in '85, "Old Coke" never tasted the same again.
A very expensiv Concert- Camera 75 tsd $- Firework 100.000$ Fine- Purple must flee out with a Helikopter in another State- to be not arrestet! Around the sumary are these- 225.000$ for the Bill of Deep Purple. It was it worth!
Not much of a fan of MK3 Purple, Glenn Hughes' screeching just goes right through me. Burn is an excellent song though and works really well as a set opener.

El sonido es fabuloso.
Half a century ago. Better times.
great how david sings smoke on the water in third person: "they all came out to montreaux..." very respectful to MK II
Damn... I still want it!
wk..wk..😀😀

Deep Purple with the Rainbow banner?
On that rainbow stage were not only them, but also Black Sabbath, ELP and others. Perhaps Blackmore saw the name of his band in this.
@@User-q9f9swow, thanx for this information

Before the rainbow was hijacked
Exelent Woodstock camera edition!!
