You will never convince people to pay double the price for a hybrid bike. Especially $12000+ for a < 500cc engine. Hate to be that guy but that is crazy.

The 400 series bike will stay in Asia, we use 400cc as benchmark for some licensing and tax purposes.
It used to be that many 650cc bikes have 400cc version for this, like Suzuki SV400 for example.

There are a lot more differences between Z500 and Z500 SE. TFT Painel, sliders, USB C port, seat cover and cosmetic details

Kawasaki will do anything except put a more powerful engine in the Versys x. Still rockin' the legacy 296cc. The only advantage is that it can use lower octane fuel found in remote third world locations due to is 10.6:1 compression... but it suffers when trying to pass trucks on the highway.

Only reason i will consider Versys is when they update that engine

These bikes have been out for a little while now. I’m about to get my ninja 500 in 2 weeks. Super excited!

Yes, I'm a little behind the 8-ball on this update. Better late than never, I guess.

The msrp on the Z 500 is less than the msrp for a klx 300 and 300 sm, Makes sense.

Atleast in bikes,ICE is the answer but if not ICE alone then Hybrid is the answer.
    EV is dumb.

I mean Ninja 400 is around 118mph so Ninja 500 should be at least that, I really don't think it's that important though as they perform best under 100 mph.

No official word on Kawasaki's website, but research suggests 180-190km/hr or 115-120mph.

What is it with Honda and Kawasaki and liveries? Are they stuck in the 80's? They make their bikes look so cheap.
