It makes me want to get the Dolphin Emulator on my PC. You just get a world of games to play, even though I don't think you get the theme... That nostalgia is unbeatable
Ah yes, the Switch, with its joycon issues and cartridge reading problems and all those lags, trash Eshop and menus, ruined Miis page... yes I totally appreciate Switch yes yes my dude, best console ever. Wii U way better...
Back when times were simple and sweet. Wasn’t worried about a future Wasn’t worried about making it month to month Wasn’t worried about being crushed by the economy Wasn’t thinking to myself that I’m useless Wasn’t thinking about how I’ll never find someone to share my life with Wasn’t thinking about how much I hate this constant cycle of pain Thank you, Nintendo. I really took my childhood for granted.
Just imagine this It’s 2008/2009 you come home from school on a Friday with no homework. You come in turn on the Wii and play all day. You didn’t have to worry about homework, exams, friends all your worries were gone on the Wii. You and your friends playing all night on games like Mario kart, Smash bros and all those games of our childhoods. It’s 2018 now, your finishing school with too many stuff in your mind. Thinking about a girlfriend, depression, money. Back then we didn’t have to worry about all that. It just shows you how better those days were. Don’t look back on them, cherish your memories and make new ones that you will look back on as you age. No matter how your life changes, you keep looking back on better days
Your exactly right. This was my childhood and I had some fun with the wii. I was 6 or 7 when I played this and I always played with my brother or friends. I played multiple games like smash and Mario kart and more games. Now my brother has a job and I necessary don’t play this anymore and now, I look back into the past and smile at it for having fun times in the past.
It’s a Friday night in 2008. My parents are still married. I’m living with my whole family in my childhood home, in my hometown, in my home state. I’m in sixth grade. I fell asleep on the couch about an hour ago. A now cold, half-eaten bowl of spaghettios and a half drank glass of milk sit on the coffee table. It’s dark except for the flickering glow of the tv. It’s quiet except for this. The Super Smash Bros Brawl menu box thingy flashes in the upper left corner of the tv screen, waiting for me to select it. The Wiimote, still strapped to my wrist, shut itself off a while ago to conserve battery. I don’t have student loans. I don’t have to worry about rent. I don’t have to worry about money. I don’t have to worry about school nearly as much. Life is simple. Life is easy. Life is good.
It was April 2009. My mom had just gotten her income tax and the first thing she did was buy a Wii after her day at work. When I got home from school my mom carried in a big brown box and I was wondering what was inside. When my siblings and I opened that box, we were going crazy and were so happy to finally have one. One of my favourite memories from my childhood.
@@Player-p4k Yo chill the fuck out and show some damn respect. Just imagine if you were put into a situation where your mother passed and everyone didn't give two shits.
I feel like the music would feel out of place, maybe because of a lack of movement in the menu. The wii menu had moving parts everywhere and that just made it feel more alive and in tune with the music
It's 2012. I'm 5 years old. I had just finished helping to bring grocery bags inside from my mom's car, having just heard Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (TGIF) on the radio, being congratulated by my dad for being able to lift a container of laundry detergent, the heaviest item bought that day. It's sunny out, and warm. Spring is creeping in. My brother wants to sign up for baseball. My sister wants to take horse riding lessons. My parents want me to take swimming lessons. I ask my mom if I can play. She says yes, and turns on the tv. I waddle over to the white disc drive, which is turned on its side and press the power button with the small yellow light in its center. It makes the classic sound of fans beginning to whir, and a disc beginning to spin, with the occasional semi-high-pitched blip here and there. It's a nice sound. My mom hugs me, and I wrap my arms around her knees, as that's the highest I can reach. My brother and sister go upstairs, to their rooms, but I don't. This is where I want to be. Standing in my living room, on the wood floor, remote in hand, waiting for the "Press A to continue" message to appear beneath the safety warning, which I never read and don't plan on reading. The many tv screens quickly fade into view, none of them seeing any use other than the one in the very top left, as this music also fades into an audible range. A logo flies into that small bubble, and I get ready to decide between bowling and swordplay in Wii Sports: Resort. I feel safe. I feel happy. Nobody around me will leave, not for very long, at least. I quickly point my remote at the screen, not knowing how it works but accepting it anyway. I click to play, and listen as a remixed version of the original Wii Sports theme plays. I feel safe. I feel happy.
So many memories Makes me miss my dad who sadly passed away from lung cancer in 2016 Me and him use to play the Wii all the time when I was little Miss you dad ❤️❤️❤️
A couple years back, my sister, who’s only a year older than me, got in a dispute about something, and we stopped talking to each other. Then, one day, I just came over to her house and played this. We both sat there and cried while listening to this.
@tables i like that's game i beat it years ago when it's was new and Mario kart 7 and Ds and New super Mario bros DS and New super Mario bros u all of them
I full on cried when I turned on my bought secondhand Wii. In that moment, I was a kid again. I was free from all the pain of today and was embraced by the bliss of the past.
Had mine since December 2007 and no matter how old I get i'll still be coming back, because in the end, what's the point of a video game if it's not fun?
@Yosh065 wii catalog was complete trash?? let's see here... Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort New Super Mario Bros. Wii Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 Animal Crossing: City Folk Sonic Colors Super Paper Mario Mario Kart Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl Mario Super Sluggers Mario Sports Mix just to name a few...
I love this cause it literally sounds so 00's! Back when all this new technology and new consoles were coming out and they felt all futuristic, all the music always sounded like luxury futurism or something lmao, great times
I recently found a home video I digitized from this era, Xmas 2006, and it was wild watching my mom film me and my brothers setting this up, because we were all blown away by things like wireless ! 802.11b, wireless internet, now of course known as 'wifi', people didn't really call it wifi back then, in fact many people didn't have it! So, that was one particular noteworthy thing. We were like, "OH MY GOD, it has WIRELESS INTERNET!!!" hah! 😂 simpler times.
This has to be the most iconic and nostalgic thing I’ve listened to in my entire life. It might not sound like much at first, but to me, it’s simply so relaxing and nostalgic to me. I have a Wii U, but most of the time, I’m not playing on it. I’m playing the original Wii option built into the Wii U. I still play the Wii U, but the Wii is basically my childhood. I say “is” because I’m technically still in my childhood. This thing brings so much memories back to me. Flying through the cosmos in the galaxy games, fighting with my siblings in brawl, making cool and funny Mii’s, and just sitting in front of the TV to listen to this music. I like other consoles as well. Such as the GameCube. The GameCube wasn’t as nostalgic though. To me, it’s menu music was kind of meh. The games on it were kind of cool to me, but nowhere near being my favorite console. (This is just my opinion you can like whatever you want.) The Wii came out in 2006, when I was born... I grew up with the Wii of course. It’s music was nice and soothing, and it has my favorite game of all time on it. That game is Super Mario Galaxy. A lot of people weren’t a fan of motion controls after a little while. I can’t describe motion controls. It kind of just made me... happy. It just filled me with joy. The Wii U is really fun, but the menu music wasn’t as superior as the Wii or GameCube. It was strange to me. The games on it weren’t very superior either. They were still good though of course. Examples are 3D world, Nintendo Land, etc. Next up, the Nintendo Switch. I haven’t had that many games on it yet. I did think it was a huge improvement though. The Wii is still extremely nostalgic to me though and it will always be my favorite. As I have said before, Mario Galaxy is my favorite game. After I beat it 100%, it took me back to the star festival. When I beat that level, the Mail toad told me that he sent mail to the Wii message board. At this point I exited the game and looked at the letter. It was congratulating me on completing the game. Here is the part that got me though... “Until next time... The SUPER MARIO GALAXY Staff!” For some reason, with the soothing Wii music playing, and the way it was worded. It just made me feel extremely emotional. Just like the Wii in general, it made me feel happy and excited. Sorry this was so long, but there is no way I can express such a nostalgic console. The Wii will always be a part of Mii.
The first time I saw a Wii was when I was at a party when I was like 2 or 3 I have good memory of the 2000s some how but it will be one of the best consoles I’ve seen and played
I love how the mood slightly shifts throughout this track; which gives it all the more emotional depth, making it feel so much more than just a piece of ambience.
I wish I knew who created this music so I could talk to them about their inspiration behind it. I listen to this almost everyday and it never fails to calm me down and rest my mind :)
The Wii had its ways of making a lasting impact to anybody who ever owned it. I know I have and looking back through those times of my life is relaxing. As a kid, I never thought of how life would be in the future, but only recently have I got anxious of what my future forms into. I can only hope someday I’ll be willing to get a Wii and relieve those memories as kid sitting down on the floor and playing New Super Mario bros. and not worrying about a thing.
After at least a year, I have a Wii again. It feels different, and we don't have everything, but it's still joyous. Now I've gone from just enjoying everything to appreciating it. My comment history here is like a timeline of it. From deep nostalgia, to wanting the console again, and finally going full circle. It's fairly basic in itself but everything you do with it means a lot more than that.
How do I say this. The wii will forever be the best system, it had all my memory’s on it, I remember turning it on and thinking what will i do next what will i play. Next thing i know I’m making my mii and going to the wii shop Chanel and just blown away at the music. I bought something i forgot after many years but i played it and bought super mario galixe and played almost every day. Every time i turned on my wii i just sit there and listed to this and think back to the day i got my wii. Its my favorite system. We will miss you and all you channels.
I find it calming, creepy, unnerving and sad. I tear up hearing this, it reminds me of the long gone past, rent free living, sleeping on the couch in my blanket den with this music on the TV. Man, nostalgia makes me feel all kinds of emotions.
yes man! i was at my nanas with a wii instead of a ps3 or xbox 360, i played skylanders fishing games, and of course wii sports as my top favorite. i’d leave the glass tv screen on which lets out a very high pitched, quiet but very loud static noise. life was pure and i was just a kid who was loving life.
Didnt grow up with the wii, but i had a cousin who did have his hands on one and we played mario kart wii, this song gives me the essence of looking and reminiscing back on those old times yearning to return.
It’s 20-something. I’m probably anywhere from barely older than 2 to 4 years old, but all I can remember is playing Wii Mario Kart with my father. He was so sweet and attentive back then. I remember Funky Stadium and Luigi Circuit were my favorite tracks, though I couldn’t tell you why. They were just special to me. I remember playing Super Mario Bros Wii with him. It was such a great time. What I would give to go back to those days. Those simple, happy days.
Dear Wii, i had feeling the most beautiful moment of my life, and thanks for be my nostalgia forever. Today is December, and i'm still crying emotional of this beautiful game, Wii. everytime i listen this, i feel sad. My past was Very good and happy, but it's time to say Goodbye. All my time crying of sadness and joy in the same time, i'm starting a new life, i can finally do what i was waiting for, be free. All my memories can be here, and i'm doing this for last time. My objective is create an new life, really. I don't have too much time to say sooo much things, but i can say only a Goodbye. This message can't keep here for all the time, for who doens't understand It, i will not die, i am just creating a new life. I can do It easily, but for me is very hard, clear some of my daily activies and delete messages, just makes me cry. Now it's the time, Goodbye guys, good luck with your life and be happy! (Sorry for bad english)
It's 2013. I was at my cousins house. We always played Tron and Wii Sports. We didn't have to care on how to play, or if we won. It was all just for the fun. Sometimes we even turn on Netflix. We sometimes watched some shows we all liked. Then sometimes I stay longer than a day. Sleeping after watchung and playing. Drifting off as this plays in the background. It was nice. It's 2024, I got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas last year. I remember all the memories. I remember the cousins I don't see anymore. I want to see them. But they aren't the same. They've changed. But that's okay. I'm still the same. And that's okay. I just wish one more day to have the same feeling. Before 2020 had changed everyone. I just want to feel like a child once more.
I miss playing super Mario galaxy on early mornings with my mother.. ❤️🥺 Unfortunately now my parents are divorced and have been for a while now.. I currently live with my father because of some family issues we’ve had going around.. I really miss my mom.. 💔
plushkid 99 my cousin had a red one and then I got a black one later but haven’t used it in years cuz I haven’t really bought any games for it and so I played with the PS2 and GameCube more but it brings back good times
POV: It’s December 2006. You just got a Wii as a Christmas present. You plug it in for the first time, and just sit there, listening to the music. Thank you, Nintendo. May your 15 year old console keep serving us joy.
A sound that defined a time of innocence and fun. Every single weekend from like 2006 to 2011 my two childhood best friends would come over and we'd play on the Wii for hours in my parent's basement. After they left I'd leave it on and fall asleep with this sound in the background. So soothing and beautiful❤ not a care in the world
(sorry for the bad english, i m italian) Every weekend, when i was 5 years old, in 2010/2011,my grandma came at my home and we played hours and hours of wii sport, my grandma liked golf, and i remember that i always had fun with her... No, my grandma isn't dead, but this music brought me in the past... In 2012/2013,when i was 6/7 years old, i played Super mario galaxy 2 with my dad everyday, he couldn't finish the last level, he tried for months... One year ago, i took the wii and i maked 60/70 try for that level, and finally, i finished it, and i was nearly crying... In 2010-2014 i played Kirby's return to dreamland so much hours for day, i played it with my cousin, and togheter we finished the game with the 100%,and today too, we continue to play that fantastic game Me and my cousin also played Mario&Sonic at the olympic games, and we were so good at that game... Another fantastic game was Super paper mario, i loved that game when i was 7,i finished it 3/4 times... And then Mario Kart wii, i played it everyday with my dad, we played all the races and unlocked all the players togheter, he teached me many tips, that i have used in mario kart 8... So, thank you Wii, thank you Nintendo, you make me live a fantastic childhood, and also today i continue to play this fantastic console Edit:The cousin that played with me had a younger brother,he was only 2 years old, but 3 week ago he dies from cancer, i wanted to play the wii with him too,but i hope that now he doesn't suffer anymore. came back 2 years later, what can i say, i still miss these much simpler times, im growing old really fast and im not even realizing that
Ciao bro, anche io giocavo sempre a smg2 e altri giochi con mio padre.. Posso capire che bei momenti che erano, sarebbe bello rivivere le stesse emozioni..
It’s a cold winter and you’ve been playing with snow all the afternoon in the fields, you come back home. Dad has lighten up the fire, you drink hot chocolate and eat a few cookies and then you play WII with friends or family. These are some of my best memories from the WII. And I was quite happy at the time.
I'm just glad this isn't a video of the typical poser that wants to do the meme of the mii channel, but doesn't know anything about the wii so puts the mii channel theme and says wii menu on the title
Oh boy. I just have amazing memories of my friends coming to my house, we’d go and play basketball or go to the pool, then we’d come home and play Mario kart online, Mario Galaxy, or Wii sports. I was in like 1st grade so I had like no homework, no parents on my shit about grades, or no important priorities. Even today, even tho I have an Xbox 1s as well, I play Mario kart Wii and even hacked my account Wii do I can play Mario kart Wii online. Mario kart brings back so many memories. I wanna go back in time.
The Wii is Nintendo's best console. Sure, the Nintendo switch is absolutely awesome and is a home AND portable console, but the Wii had so much charm to it. The channels really made it feel like it had depth. The Nintendo switch just seems like a shell that you can play games in.
That's the best analogy I can think of. As good as the switch is Nintendo definitely cut corners. Seriously If Nintendo put the same amount of love in the switch as the wii they'd break the Ps2 record.
@@reactking7093 Mhm. Who knows, maybe the next console will be the ultimate switch pro everyone wants and it'll have music and everything. Now THAT would be big profits.
My 9-month-old baby wouldn’t go to sleep or stop fussing so my husband says, “put on the Wii menu music” and she hasn’t made a noise since I turned it on. So precious
it’s crazy how much video games and consoles and all that can just, take you back, to when times were maybe better, and when you were just a kid, simply living your life. video games are really special no matter what anyone says, they help people in many ways and they are important to so many people.
I loved staring/staying at the main menu sometimes. Not even just playing. Just taking it all in. All the animations, your games and memories in the music.
I first got my Wii for my 8th birthday. I remember the days of playing Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Music, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Monster Jam, Bolt, Mario Kart Wii, Spyro Dawn of the Dragon, Wii Sports Resort, Emergency Mayhem, Pokémon Battle Resolution, and so much more. I would give almost anything in the world to go back in time at least one more time to relive those good days.
I remember when I was 6 and went to my aunties house, my uncle had a Wii and I played it with my twin sister and one of my friends who was 10 at the time. She’s 18 now and I don’t see her anymore :(. And I remember I really wanted a Wii of my own so I asked my mum if I could get one for Christmas. She got me a Wii u instead but I didn’t know there was a difference because I was quite young. 8 years later, I still use my Wii U but mainly on Wii mode just so I can play my Zelda games :D
The impact that this console had on my life is insane. This is my 2nd favorite console of all time, GameCube being my most favorite. I first played the Wii around 2008 or 2009. Lots of laughs, arguments, happiness, sadness. The Wii had it all. Everything felt so simple back then. I first played the Wii before I was even in Kindergarten, so I had to have been around 5 years old. Now I am in my senior year of high school at 18 years old. And the Wii is still being played, I have new consoles like the Switch and whatnot, but the Wii is still way more charming. Same goes to the GameCube as well. Both of those consoles are peak Nintendo to me.
I remember being like 5 and waking up at 6 am in my parents room and having to carefully sneak past them to get out of the bedroom, then I would turn on the Wii and play Super Mario Bros Wii all day. Life was so simple yet intriguing. Now I'm almost in highschool. I miss the 2010's....
its times like this where I wonder where I am and why cant I go back in time and have no shcool home work and have my parents trust and play Wii sports and skylanders and even more man 2011 were my good day I regret saying I wont miss my child hood this brings tears to me donkey kong country super smash bros brawl and Wii sports like I said were my days why did I have to grow up :(
Yes... I feel you. I had this at my grandparents house and we would play wii sports resort while the whole family would wach us. We then took it home because they didn't need it anymore. And so I played more of it like never before. I then turned 6 and we sold it to our aunty who played on it lots. I had so many memories of playing the wii. We also bought a WiiU not knowing what it was, we then figured it was backwards compatible with the wii so we could use the wii remote on there and play all the wii games. Then I made the worst decision of my life. At the age of 9 nearly 10 I sold all of my wii, wiiU games and console to cash generator in Barrons Quay in Northwich. Up to this day it is still displayed in the window for only 20 quid. Those were the good old times 😔😭
I remember so many good memories on the Wii, it was actually my very first console and even just making Miis and browsing the channels felt like an adventure. I sold my Wii ages ago but I think it will always make me come back no matter what.
There are a lot of really long comments that describe the nostalgia for the Wii really poetically, and as an 00's kid, I have to say they were a simpler time
I remember Christmas of 2012. I was only 9. We had a massive TV stand furniture with a door that had all of our games in it. Me and my siblings opened our presents early in the morning just like every other Christmas. It wasn't until about 45 minutes afterward where I opened the door with all the games in it, and there it was. A massive present wrapped in red and gold wrapping paper. I take it out of the furniture and take it to the couch where I begin to unwrap it. Eventually I'd see a black box that said 'Wii' along with a picture of Mario and Yoshi. Instantly my heart drops and I gasp in happiness. Me and my little brothers eagerly talk to each other about how much fun it will be. Not long after I immediately boot the game up and this song is one of the first things that actually had meaning to me as a kid. That was still the best Christmas ever.
This wasn't just a console, it was a device made for families to laugh, cry, get upset about losing a Star because someone dueled them for it and most importantly, make memories. While other kids were playing on their Xboxes and Playstations swearing up a storm in some random first-person shooter, families were getting together to play Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort, Mario Party 8, Mario Kart Wii maybe even some Pinball or Monopoly. Playing games, telling stories and just having a good time. Even now, I occasionally get the urge to boot up my Wii, plop an old favorite of mine, and just let the memories of years gone by take control. Thinking about all the summers and winters I spent playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy and the list just keeps going on. I remember one day while relaxing at the library in Cusick I decided to look at the small selection of video games that were available to check out and saw a game called "Opoona". The cover art, characters and enemy designs reminded me of Kirby so I checked it out and although I didn't fully understand the controls at first, I was having fun. So much so that when it was possible and if it was available to check out I would do it over and over again because of how fun it was. Years later I eventually got a copy of the game to call my own and when I saw everything again after so long it was like I had time travelled into the past. The Wii may not have been a powerful console, but that didn't stop developers from making games that were a blast to play and also didn't stop folk from making bizarre creations, almost perfect copies of famous people and replicas of various video game characters via the Mii Channel.
Damn the first console I got, It’s such a blessing to remember my childhood behind this theme, Exploring the Endless Galaxies in Mario Galaxy, running to save the princess in Mario Wii, Duking it out in Smash, and racing to see who was a better driver in Mario kart, I miss you my childhood, but I mustn’t stay you forever, This little fire that burns in my heart, represents my will to continue on, and all I hope for you is that you may find your way.
I fr used to have a peaceful life but now everything is on my own shit, Wii bowling night with my cousins and grandma before going to mcdonalds at 7:30 it was jus a blessing but now it's all changed up, I can't complain but I will say I miss those days.
This reminds of when my grandparents would come to our house and have dinner and then we would all play Wii sports resort. It's so nice to see everyone in the comments sharing there experiences. ❤️
It's nice to see how many people came to remember this beautiful music. I'm glad I'm not the only one who came here to reminisce about childhood. This music has its own magic.
ahh yes. the memories of when I was 6 years old not having to stress about school and the struggles of teenagers, I didn’t have to worry about puberty and my mind was so innocent and I didn’t even know cuss words existed. All I did was spend the whole day playing every game in the “Wii ____ “ series over and over again.
til this Quarantine, I still have my most favorite childhood system ever, I played Wii Sports Resort and Brunswick Pro Bowling during the Quarantine but now I stopped because it’s hot outside in the Philippines but I’ll play anytime I want.
The people who disliked this video(78 currently) never knew what life was like in 2008. Those were good times, and this brings those times back. Thank you.
They bought me the Wii in 2011, more precisely, on Christmas day. I became very fond of what was and still is my favorite console. I spent whole days playing with it. I have no brothers or sisters, so except in cases where my friends came home, I played alone. I have wonderful memories from those days: I was playing mario kart, using King Boo as the main character; i was playing mario bros wii, which i completed 100% completely by myself; I was playing mario party 9, a gift from my grandfather, which I also completed 100%. And so on with many other games of my favorite character, mario, who I considered almost like a friend or a playmate as a child. In the wii board I still have some boxes that say I and (my friend's name) will be friends forever, I still have all the mii I have created over the years, some representing my family, others created by my imagination and I have still saved my old connection in settings. I remember watching news from the NEWS channel, not knowing what I was actually reading. Now, I'm 16, and all I have from my childhood are just good memories, years of fun and lightheartedness. I am writing this answer to you in tears, and I apologize for any grammatical errors or wrong tenses, but I am pulling these words straight from my heart. Thanks Nintendo, thanks Mario, I will never forget you.
Lol and also they are posting bc of the Wii used to have online now it don’t thx to Nintendo switching to a new server instead of updating the old one for the switch like they should have done like Sony and Microsoft did
@@Flame-lv4er This is the easiest way: ruclips.net/video/3CBSQ9Afqiw/видео.html However, I would recommend getting an SD card if you want to get into the Mario Kart Wii community, which is surprisingly active to this day. There's a popular mod called CTGP that has new game modes, 200+ custom tracks, and more. I was just playing some today! :)
I can’t remember how many times I’ve fallen asleep to this growing up. The Wii truly did come to define my entire childhood and I’ll never be able to thank Nintendo enough for that, even if I’m not the biggest fan of their decisions with the Switch right now. Or maybe the reason I can’t remember is because I fell asleep.

Story of my life
Gommo64 better days my man
And to think, today will eventually be considered nostalgia.
Man, You went deep I respect that
It’s a Friday night in 2008.
To think a way to sum up a thousand hours can be through the Wii music is quite nice

@SuperLuigiGamer 85 And?

I finally realized why the switch feels empty, it has no music on the menu!
Why do they have to stop really good things like this? Too much of a "good" thing, can be a "bad" thing
I always joke about it, but I kind of like the lack of menu music on a handheld.

Finally, a video that has the title "Wii theme" and actually plays the Wii theme, and not the Mii channel theme.
The SUPER MARIO GALAXY Staff!”
For some reason, with the soothing Wii music playing, and the way it was worded. It just made me feel extremely emotional. Just like the Wii in general, it made me feel happy and excited.
Sorry this was so long, but there is no way I can express such a nostalgic console. The Wii will always be a part of Mii.
same here
The first time I saw a Wii was when I was at a party when I was like 2 or 3 I have good memory of the 2000s some how but it will be one of the best consoles I’ve seen and played

I can only hope someday I’ll be willing to get a Wii and relieve those memories as kid sitting down on the floor and playing New Super Mario bros. and not worrying about a thing.

After at least a year, I have a Wii again. It feels different, and we don't have everything, but it's still joyous. Now I've gone from just enjoying everything to appreciating it.

yes man! i was at my nanas with a wii instead of a ps3 or xbox 360, i played skylanders fishing games, and of course wii sports as my top favorite. i’d leave the glass tv screen on which lets out a very high pitched, quiet but very loud static noise. life was pure and i was just a kid who was loving life.

I remember being 2 years old, playing Wii Sports back in 2010.
Those were the days that I wish I could go back to.
This makes me remember a time when I choosed games not by their reviews or characters, but by the cover.
Truly a simpler time
I first got my Wii for my 8th birthday.
When you mod the Switch it would have everything that Wii U, Wii, Gamecube, every consoles had
I remember being like 5 and waking up at 6 am in my parents room and having to carefully sneak past them to get out of the bedroom, then I would turn on the Wii and play Super Mario Bros Wii all day. Life was so simple yet intriguing. Now I'm almost in highschool. I miss the 2010's....
its times like this where I wonder where I am and why cant I go back in time and have no shcool home work and have my parents trust and play Wii sports and skylanders and even more man 2011 were my good day I regret saying I wont miss my child hood this brings tears to me donkey kong country super smash bros brawl and Wii sports like I said were my days why did I have to grow up :(
Ahhh, the memories of playing the Wii at my grandparents house.
Exactly the Same 《wtf?》
Same here
Yes...
Same
I remember so many good memories on the Wii, it was actually my very first console and even just making Miis and browsing the channels felt like an adventure. I sold my Wii ages ago but I think it will always make me come back no matter what.
Oh man. Got the Wii when I was 12. Those were the days. Twilight Princess and Smash bros Brawl.
Such carefree times
This song touches my soul. It’s so melancholy with the nostalgia now. But this song is actually so beautiful, too.
thank you, nintendo
the console is 17 years old, yet it still retains relevance and meaning
Ik I can’t believe it has been 17 years old. Damn near as old as me🤣
This wasn't just a console, it was a device made for families to laugh, cry, get upset about losing a Star because someone dueled them for it and most importantly, make memories.
Thanks

I fr used to have a peaceful life but now everything is on my own shit, Wii bowling night with my cousins and grandma before going to mcdonalds at 7:30 it was jus a blessing but now it's all changed up, I can't complain but I will say I miss those days.
This reminds of when my grandparents would come to our house and have dinner and then we would all play Wii sports resort. It's so nice to see everyone in the comments sharing there experiences. ❤️
I love how you can slightly hear the wiis fan and hdd in the background, it fills my heart with nostalgia and, in a way, love❤
Never had a Wii before but man this song is so good. Nintendo consoles back then was so charming
All these nostalgic posts here, and I'm just like... I still play Wii.
Lol and also they are posting bc of the Wii used to have online now it don’t thx to Nintendo switching to a new server instead of updating the old one for the switch like they should have done like Sony and Microsoft did
@@Flame-lv4er True. That's why we use the fan-made server, Wiimmfi. :)
@@MontagnaMagica WAIT WAT I AM GONNA GET A WII SOMETIME SOON SHOW ME HOW TO GET THAT SERVER I WANT MY WIII TO HAVE ITS FUNCTIONS BACK
@@Flame-lv4er This is the easiest way: ruclips.net/video/3CBSQ9Afqiw/видео.html
However, I would recommend getting an SD card if you want to get into the Mario Kart Wii community, which is surprisingly active to this day. There's a popular mod called CTGP that has new game modes, 200+ custom tracks, and more.
I was just playing some today! :)
@@MontagnaMagica yup. Same here
I own a Wii and this music fills my heart with nostalgia reminding me of the times I got to stay up late and enjoy the great things in life
The memories, although I haven’t exactly reached the end of my childhood, It still brings nostalgia.
this is so far into my brain i think im going to listen to this in like 2050 and just instantly cry
When you’re trying to figure which game you wanna play but you have too many
I can’t remember how many times I’ve fallen asleep to this growing up. The Wii truly did come to define my entire childhood and I’ll never be able to thank Nintendo enough for that, even if I’m not the biggest fan of their decisions with the Switch right now.
Or maybe the reason I can’t remember is because I fell asleep.
Super Nintendo: i was the best Nintendo console
Wii: hold my beer
No need to be aggressive guys
@Yosh065 tell that to its over 101m sales lmao
